The Rio version is good.
These were hard concerts for Freddie - the sweat, the exhaustion...before the known diagnosis. With a look back, you can feel, see the signs before that last concert in 1986.

…I love this performance just because I don’t think there’s a better example anywhere, of Freddie’s UNIQUE one-of-a-kind technique for how he “channeled” the notes he was singing, through his physical body: When he realized he wasn’t going to be able to hit the usual HIGH note in this intro (it’s easy to tell during the song that his voice is tired)… he paused and then DROPPED to one knee, when he DROPPED his voice an octave.
It’s fascinating!
Like said elsewhere, tho, the performance at Rio is definitely better, technically.

Japan was the first country to treat Queen like super stars. They love Japan. This is a great concert for John fans, he is the most active I've ever seen him, dancing and boogying. He was pretty drunk.

Thankyou again prada west . I’m so glad you love them . I just got a beautiful tattoo of Freddie with his signature. I listen to them every single day especially since I had a bad medical trauma 9 months ago . I was a big fan before that . As soon as I came out of surgery I demanded them to get my phone so I could listen to Freddie’s voice so it could comfort me . 😢😢❤️❤️

This is one of the Queen's underrated songs. I just prefer the version of "It's a Hard Life" in Milton Keynes. Freddie's performance was amazing. All of their performances you will never get tired of watching because of the quality of their talent. There will never be another Freddie. He's unmatched. Hope you can react to "Love of my Life" at Rock in Rio or at Wembley. Thank you very much for your great reaction.
This tour was the same year as Live Aid but this recording is not very good, the mix is all wrong. This is a really beautiful song.
