Cool cat it’s a great song. And Freddy, as we know was a killer on stage and the rest of the band was great. Brian always delivers us to the rest of them.
John was a bit ruffled! Brian argued to include rock elements, he and Roger weren’t keen on John’s funky style. Freddie wrote “Soul Brother” for Brian to patch things up a bit. Agree with others to check out “Cool Cat” which is written and performed only by Freddie & John. Thanks.
As mentioned by others, Action this Day from this same concert is great too, the verses sung/shared by Roger and Freddie. Another suggestion, Killer Queen and I'm in Love with my Car live from Montreal 1981 (there's a video with both songs in it) with Roger singing lead on the second song.
OHHHH YAAAAAY!! Thank You, REALLY!!! (I recommended this too, along with some other songs from this same 1982 Milton Keynes (pronounced keens) gig. But literally, ANY song from this same show is FIRE… my absolute FAV concert.)
A rare treat! Taken from their largely unpopular funk album Hot Space. The tracks always sound killer live though. Another example is "Staying Power" at same concert. Give it a look.
FYI .. BACK CHAT - rude or cheeky remarks made in reply to someone in authority. 🌠 This song was written by bassist John Deacon in response to Brian & Roger’s comments about the “funk black” genre Queen was experimenting with the album Hot Space! ❤️💙💚💛
🗣️”ACTION THIS DAY” next‼️💯 Also from Milton Keynes‼️ The bass & guitar riffs are amazing! Sooo goood! Gotta do the concert opener featuring “FLASH/THE HERO/WE WILL ROCK YOU (Fast Version) .. Yes, there’s a fast version of We Will Rock You!! You’ll love it‼️💯
Other songs you can only see at Milton Keynes (pronounced Keens): “Staying Power” “Action This Day” “Fat Bottomed Girls” The concert opening segment: “The Hero”/“We Will Rock You” Fast Version
@@proofprof50 YESSS, That’s my FAVORITE version.🥰 (It’s just challenging to get reactors to play it, since Montreal is so much more widely known and they usually only want to do one version of a song.)🙄
This whole gig was broadcast live in the UK on Channel 4 TV on 'The Tube' - great gig. Took them YEARS to release the video of the whole gig. Staying Power is fucking great from this. I was at Leeds on the same tour which is considered one of their top 5 gigs ever.
@@aalucyaf-zp5ut John wanted a certain sound, and didn't feel Brian would give it the sound he wanted, it was mainly because Brian and Roger were not to happy with Freddie and John over the Hot Space album, because it more leaning towards dance music. Brian and Roger refused to play on the recording of Cool Cat, John played most of the instruments on that one, so there were issues going on. The song Back Chat was written by John regarding Brian and Roger's complaining.
Oh, go ahead and leave my comment. It’s awesome. I already haven’t heard this before but this is now I’m listening for my first time. It’s cool. It’s awesome. Thank you for doing so much.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Another song that doesn't get played that much is "You take my breath away", live version in Hyde Park 1976, just Freddie and piano, different to the studio version
Hot Space was so slated by the music press, Freddie’s response at this gig, “ it’s just a f***ing record” this is possibly the best song on Hot Space along with Under Pressure. I was at this gig and was the first time Heart played the UK, Teardrop explodes and Joan jet were support artists - Great version, try the opening song fast version of We will rock you, oh yes !
Love a bit of Heart, check out Rory Reacts channel, he's done Barracuda, Magic Man, The Night, Crazy On You, Stairway To Heaven and the rock of roll Hall of fame introduction and performance

Requesting "Cool Cat" you will enjoy it!
This live version is way much better than the recorded song.
I love the expressions on the faces of Brian, Roger and John in the studio version. Especially John's grin.
All the Hot Space songs they did here are better than the album, Dancer would have been epic live
Staying Power from the same concert is even better
As mentioned by others, Action this Day from this same concert is great too, the verses sung/shared by Roger and Freddie.
Another suggestion, Killer Queen and I'm in Love with my Car live from Montreal 1981 (there's a video with both songs in it) with Roger singing lead on the second song.
Think Staying Power is the best one, shame they never did Dancer, that would have been good live
Yo bro‼️glad you liked it💥try Queen “was it all worth it “. No live version. Studio version is dope tho💥💥thanks boss
OHHHH YAAAAAY!!
Thank You, REALLY!!!

The way he dances gets me everytime

Brian May hated most of the funk sound, believe it or not.
Staying Power rocks.
Oh, I believe it. He's a rocker, still, Staying Power is among the fastest of his licks played live.
I love Staying Power live
Definitely the best one from HS live. Reckon Dancer would have been pretty epic live

I love learning the history about it all from you fans of Queen it’s awesome
Another one from Milton Keynes "Action This Day". This was total fire!
Yeah...I second this."action this day"
Staying Power is epic here

Almost no one plays this song and it’s a treat- thank you- I watch for you every day Sir
Written by their talented bass player xx

Have you reacted to Roger’s song - I’m in Love with My Car’?? He sings it and kills the drums at the same time/ playing solo!! Really good!
I was privileged to have been at this fantastic concert. They were truly incredible. Loving your appreciation of Queen ❤️

You go Freddie
Every queen song is fantastic ❤️❤️ thanks again ❤️
John didn't want Brian playing guitar on the recording. John played guitar and bass on the recording. It's a slap back at Brian and Roger.
Why?

Love Freddy ! Love the whole band .
Thank you for doing Cool Cat. It was amazing and one of my favorites ❤

Yeah chat chat. Yeah great song ❤
React to "killer Queen e I'm in love with my car" live in Montreal 81.

Yes back chat 😅
