These parents are gems. The dad is calm and helpful. The mom is definitely not alone in this child-raising adventure.

The least problematic parents ever on the show. I feel really bad for mom it sounds like she missed out on the closeness she wanted with her dad growing up
If you read about her dad, he was off doing some other stuff 😅 but I'm glad Wendy and Carnie came out alright
I would love to see an update series to see how the families Jo helped over the years got on and what are they are doing now.

Those kids really weren’t bad. They were some of the better behaved kids I’ve seen on this show.
She seems really grounded and I love her husband's energy.
These two parents have so much love and patience, and they work really well together. They are quite atypical for Super Nanny!
yes...and the kids were not the rebels that most shows have. These parents just have their hands full, they weren't doing poor parenting skills, just have opposite styles. Most houses are total chaos!
I love every episode of Supernanny, and Jo herself, but these parents were so serene, loving, open and eager to learn, it was so moving. They're both wonderful parents, and great people. It was inspiring all round. Thanks to all and to the children who responded so well!
This episode originally aired on February 20, 2008. As of July 2023, kids are now approximately:

I also like that Wendy is so aware that her upbringing, her and Carnie were raised with anything and everything they could have wanted and she’s very willing to learn and bring the structure she didn’t have with her children.
I love Wilson Phillips. I grew up with them. Wendy has beautiful children. Great job.

That's what I thought too! Carrie and Wendy don't age! You can really tell that they were eachother's best friend while they were growing up, and it's so beautiful.
Wendy didn't "announce the Beach Boys" repeatedly. The show editors cut in the same clips repeatedly. Blame them.

I know this show has to be at least 15 years old . I would love to see this family now. This is the nicest couple I've ever seen on " Nanny", really hope they are still together.
I didn't know Penelope's name 😂, but I broke my son of pacifiers at 2 years old using the same idea. He helped me box them up for all the babies that needed them 🥰
I love when she embarks on the fun with the family some times, for example, like when she raced with Beau 😂

Calling childless people selfish and doesn't want to contribute. I just let people live their lives. Too bad others feel they have the need to tell other people how to live their own lives.

Lovely family all around. Very soothing, the children have been blessed with wonderful parents. Each unique and the children will draw on the individual identities of both parents. Lucky children and lucky mom and dad.

Wow, the comments here are so much more judgmental than on other episodes. Why? Why do we think if people are celebrities, we can be so much harder on them than on anyone else?
Mom isn’t repeatedly mentioning her Dad (some repeated clips) for no reason, but this is one aspect the show kept exploring-how they were raised and how that affected them and their parenting styles. Not to mention it’s something people who knew of her father’s fame, are probably interested in. Otherwise they don’t usually delve into it that much.
People always want to know what’s happening in celebrities’ lives. I guess not out of genuine curiosity and care, but so we can find something to be critical about ? Bleh.

In so many of these Supernanny episodes the families have too many children so close together . They should space their children so they don't have so many toddlers at the same time.I've seen so many with 4 kids under the age of 5.
Some people don't use birth control for religious reasons, particularly if they are Catholic.

Are toddlers eating solid food? Crying before bed trouble will go on for few nights but parents learnt to be firm. These parents learnt so quick, congrats!
