Thanks for the video, it helps the rest of us.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, we were hoping it helps out others.
Saved me a headache thanks!
Thanks for watching!
It would be interesting what showed up on the screen.
I watched this video on April 18th 2024 (just a time reference). Did switching transducers fix your problem? I am preparing to mount 2 transducers for my Hummingbird. One side/down imaging, the other a high speed transducer so I don't lose my screen when underway.
Yes, switching the transducers did fix the problem, thanks for the question!
So the physical transducer was blocking the signal. Im suprised the signals don't cross each other up or do they?
Thank you
Yes the physical transducer. Their signals run on different frequencies so they don’t interfere with each other. Thanks for reaching out!
Just got lowrance hook reveal 7 tripleshot. Thinking its going to be hard for me to get a clear view on my sidescan with my outboard in the way. Tripleshot transucer is massively long and my motor is pretty close to transom so there isnt a gap infront of it for transducer to see though...even if i trimmed way out it wouldnt help the transducer is so long.
Yeah i have to trim the motor up for good side imaging. Mount as low as possible
@RedBeardedPredators }
Right or left doesn't matter. Every boat is different. You need to keep the hull ribs in mind too.
@@RedBeardedPredators got another question....Could I just hook it up to my fuse panel and use a 3mp fuse? Fuse panel has an extra circuit I could use my only hesitation on connecting to it would be possibly losing all my setting every time I turn off the main power switch to the fuse panel.Basically do they require constant power to not lose settings(direct connection to battery)?
I have my connected to the fuse panel and dont lose the settings
Way to go BUD lol, just talking crap... its easily overlooked by many!
Lol, we couldn’t figure out what was wrong first couple times on water...
If it's too close to the motor you will have to trim the motor up.
We’re you able to fix this?
Yeah, made a little modification. Have the side scan transducer mounted lower than the 2d transducer.
@@RedBeardedPredators thanks for sharing
Thanks for the question!
@@RedBeardedPredatorsi finished installing the 2d transducer and my y cable for a helix 10 and my SI isn’t working. I spent a large part of my morning researching about it and I’m glad to see your feed back.
Thanks! This gives me hope lol cause I was afraid of damaging the si transducer
