This way is great for people who do not like or choose not to do the magic circle. I always sew in my end so mine never comes undone.

I'm laughing because I did this after more magic circle failures, quite by accident. I'm glad you it put out there.❤

I double wrap for my magic circle. When I finish, I pull the tail just a little bit so I can see which side of the extra wrap moves then pull that one tight and then pull the tail. Super tight and NEVER comes loose.

I personally love the double magic circle.
I’m one of those can never get the hole to close with the chain method. Helpful to see this trick.

I agree with you. This is much easier to do and it closes totally. I also weave the tail around the first row of loops. It closes it even tighter.

Just watched this and I have to say thank you for another wonderful option. Although I use the magic circle it is not my favorite way to crochet in the round, I also prefer chain method, and now I will be able to also close the hole without having to sew it close. I really appreciate all your videos and tips that make it easy for a lazy crocheter like me to continue crocheting.

When I first started and was Channel Hopping, Magic Circle was all the rage! I just had the worst time with it and after many attempts few successes I wasn’t a fan! The I watched BOD doing a granny square and I knew the Magic Ring was “disappearing” from my gotta knows. And to have this to add to my Playlist! Thanks again Crystal…you’ve done it again! ❤👏👏👏
