The day we all feared finally came. Her Majesty was 4 years away from having a 75 year rule and 100 years of age. A light no. a beacon of humanity as ascended to heaven.
As an American I know I will get criticized for this particularly a black American. But I loved this woman. Her duty and her sacrifice. She never put a foot wrong. She was strength. She said she would stay and she did. A beautiful remarkable woman.
I cried when Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second died. I Proudly stood to attention and lowered my flag to half mast. I will Serve his Majesty King Charles the Third proudly and if He calls for it, I'll gladly lay my life down as I would have done for The Queen
Most of us have not lived in a world where Elisabeth II was not on the throne of the UK, Great Britain and the Commonwealth. It feels sad and empty when she is gone even for a non Brittish.
There are countries who have there kings and queens.but she was known globally as THE QUEEN her funeral was a wonderful tribute a sad but a beautiful day only the British can put do pageantry like this

I grew up watching her speeches and they always had a special tone to announce important newscasts.
