I think this is a bit over-complicated, especially for washing clubs. Water and a brush is really all you need. Also need to be careful with soaking clubs. Only soak the head if you feel it's needed and don't soak the club in water that's deeper than the hosel. You don't want water getting into where the club head and shaft meet. I'd be nervous soaking most modern multi-piece irons in soapy water. I don't know that I'd want to get water and soap into every nook and cranny. While it shouldn't be an issue, I wouldn't want to risk anything seeping into the head loosening any badges, or getting into the club head. Everything should be sealed you never know as I don't think clubs are really designed to be submerged in water for a period of time.
For shoes prevention is key. I have always put a protectant on my golf shoes when I first get them and redo it every 6 months. Helps keep stains from forming

All you need is a little soap and water or even Windex type spray. A couple of quick mists, a light brush, towel and a touch of elbow grease - and you are good to go. 30 seconds or so per club unless you are trying to restore a rusty old set.

You look so uncomfortable with that sponge cleaning that iron. Sure you’ve done this before? 😂

I use the waste water from my washing machine comes out the right temp and a decent detergent. I use a very tight bristle deck brush, for club heads then a slightly mild brush on grips, the dirt that you see on the towel when drying! I change out the soft spikes every season.
Head cover go through the machine with towels, once dried get a light spray of silicon spray, helps keep dirt off leaves then shinny.
Footwear: I normally clean shoes after every round, but also when dry rub in Vaseline then let this dry out. A very simple way to water proof shoes. With soul pad removed a mix of white spirts and silicon applied with a brush is good to halt wet feet with soft spikes. Once the dry odor free and bone dry feet. : )

Hi Dan surprised you were chosen for the club cleaning 🤔, judging by the amount of dirt set in your Pitching Wedge (Didn’t look like you kept your groves clean for a few rounds), I like to clean my clubs in the sink (with warm water + squirt of washing up liquid) start with grips dip & scrub with brush, then rinse under tap(to remove soapy water) dry with towel stand near towel rail and do the rest of the grips, Fresh soapy water start with Woods brush, rinse, dry, repeat with Rescues, Putter, lastly Irons👍, Done 😁, Liked tip with sand paper, 3M rubber backed med/corse grit emery cloth is better for shiny Grips, (need to clean when Dry) then rinse👍, hope this helps Dickey 9hcp 76year senior golfer

I soak mine for an hour in vinegar, lemon juice, and warm water. Wipe them down afterwards and they look brand new.

Some terrible advice here.. don’t put ya grips in water like that .. water will get in shaft and cause rust ..
Also don’t use a scouring pad on ya irons .. especially nice new ones
Toothbrush is the best thing and washing up liquid

Caution: if your irons have a badge or plate on the back, water accumulates behind there and eventually causes rust! Don’t soak!

DO NOT soak your clubs! You're asking to loosen your clubheads and promote rust!
