This is really impressive. Do you think this is the best approach, using gen 2 and these steps, for turning illustrated images to film in Runway? I have been using illustrations I made in Midjourney but when I use gen3, it keeps turning them into real people or it just loses the illustrated quality.
For Gen 3, check their prompting guide and use 1st and last frame option to get a predictable output. Both images shouldn't differ too much. Another option is to animate the characters separately and then put them on top of the background. You can use canva to detach them. I found Gen 2 best if you wanna control your animations. gen 3 is of course more powerful but really depends on the situation.
The overall logic is same. Generate right images to make your work easy. You can also choose to separately animate airplane using other tools such as canva and then place it on top of the background animated with runway.
