Also if the persons name is mispelled four times in one death note, said person becomes immune to all death notes. what they also left out is the part that says that you die if you tried to mispell someones name on purpose.

Now L gets more suspicious on Light because she just responded with that message on 23rd. If she hadn’t send that message whole series would have ended at that moment as L wouldn’t know if 1st and 2nd Kira working together and with Misa’s eyes Light would have killed L easily.

I honestly don't see how Light could win without either and shinigami to kill L or shenigami eyes. Even if he could somehow, magically find out L's real name I don't think he could do it without anyone knowing about it. Even if he did it would still take years upon years longer than it did in this way and after L dies Misa and her shenigami eyes become invaluable because Light is always able to give her orders and nobody (except Near and Mello four years after the fact) is smart enough to figure anything out.

i don't see how having light join in the kira task force is a good thing if L is already suspicious of him being the original kira. luring out the second kira is also possible with or without light's help since misa is gullible with anything involving the original kira and pretending to be him as bait would eventually reel her in and capturing her would've been a great advantage in finally solving this kira case. all this is doing is giving light more info to use against them,.. which he does.
If you misspell the same persons name 4 times, the death note becomes useless to kill that particular person. However the death note can still be used for others
