Heck Yeah 😀👍
You just addressed my main concern and that is a kid playing with the ring and opening the valve. With this info, the elimination of the need for any tools to fill puts the keg ahead in the race! Thanks!
You’re welcome! Glad I could help you out 👍
I invested in the Fuel Keg System after refilling the green canisters for years. Stored full ones in a Heavy duty tote. Last fall I went to grab a few for a camping trip and had a leaker.
@@ericbuzza6265 I’m glad you like the Fuel Keg. I never had a leaker for the green ones but I don’t think I should press my luck any more.
Great follow up Bryan! Great way to share the questions and concerns with everyone as a lot do not leave comments or go through them to find answers of other questions 👍👍
I answer every comment. Now I can say to watch this instead. Makes life easier for me. 😂
Great video and good points. Glad you went over those questions from people. All good questions and answer's! Common questions everyone would ask too!
Thanks, buddy. I did it for the people.
…and the views. 😂
I refilled the Coleman "non-refillable" thanks for over six years. I simply got tired of the fact that they never refill all the way. And, if you try any tricks to get them to refill more fully, THAT'S when you can get into trouble. I causes a whole set of five to swell quite a bit. I had to take them outside and empty them as fast as possible because the looked as if they might burst at any second.
I got the Fuel Kegs, so I don't have to mess around with that any more. AND I won't have to fill them as often, because you can safely fill them up completely.
@@GrantSR yup. The Fuel Kegs are great. TBH, I still have a few Colemans lying around but as soon as I use them up I’ll be done with them.
I recently purchased one of these propane cylinders. It is well built. It weighs 1lb 13oz. I attempted to refill it with a generic ebay unit with the gauge on it. I could only get about 4 oz of propane in it. Has to be vented. So I ordered the refill kit. A standard propane torch head fits on it and works just fine.
I'm glad you like it as much as I do. Thanks for the heads up on the propane torch head.
Great rebuttals!
Thanks! You have a new logo! 👍
Very nice follow up!
Thanks, Lucas! Just wait til you see the next video: 189 view LSC Smallie Slam 👍
Not gonna lie this video can come in handy for when my son wants to go and do outdoors type things. So I have to look back at this one day 🤝🏼👍🏻
Nice 🤝. I’ve refilled them a few times now. I like them more every time I use them.
Super helpful information Bryan. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Jay!
I missed an opportunity to plug kayak fishing dads while that propane was filling. 😂👍
@@TheMichiganFisherman 😂 would’ve been the perfect spot 🤦🏽♂️
Great job addressing the concerns. Great stuff
Thanks, Sean. So many people kept asking the same questions over and over again. Now I'll just direct them to this video.
Thank you for sharing
My pleasure
Also seemed to have forgotten to mentioned the hefty fine for transporting the disposable canisters after refilling 🤔
I don’t know the amount but I made sure to say it’s not legal to transport. That usually implies a fine. 👍
Well I think the fill speed is not a good measurement. It depends how full the 20# tank is. The more full the more pressure the faster it fills. Get down to a near empty 20# tank the slower it refills.
I'm surprised there were no complaints regarding the black O ring and white sleeve in the keg coming off and sticking on the fill arm valves. I had and still have 2 tanks of 4 that those O rings keep coming off. I called Mr Heater customer service and they sent me 3 replacement kits, and told me to throw the old ones away. Those fit nice and tight but still came off onto the fill valve. I haven't filled tanks for 3 months warm here now. We'll see come fall time.
Wow! I haven’t had that issue yet but I’ll keep an eye on it. I appreciate the detailed feedback, bud 👍
Awesome video 😊 I just bought this kit with 3 cyclinders
Thanks. I hope you like it as much as I do.
Thank you for sharing this video
I prefer the set screw that Flame King uses. I bought a 4 pack for $60 on there website
Those are also a great option 👍
If you think the Coleman tanks are thin, kook at the butane canisters that have a propane mix for lower temperatures. I know people who refill them with propane.
Yup. Absolutely!
I have had disposable propane tanks that were refilled swell up. The paint came off and my hand like powder. And the welded section in the middle looked like a tight belt on a fat kid. That was when I quit refilling disposable.
That's crazy!!! Luckily I've never had that happen. I always leave some space in there on the green Colemans though.
I see no reason that you couldn't use a cheap adapter to refill the Fuel Keg, the adapter would screw on it like it would any other tank. You just wouldn't have the functionality of the vent/overfill prevention which would negate the advantage of buying this tank.
I just tried that yesterday. The propane flowed for about 5 to 10 seconds and then stopped. I weighed it. Only 4 oz of propane made it in the tank. I think it has to be vented in order to fill it all the way.
Is there an adapter to fit to a big bottle and pipe? I can’t find one in UK
I'm not sure. I'll have to look into that.
Can ANYBODY tell me if you can put a torch attachment on a Mr. Heater 1lb. Tank....??....Mr. Heater has set their stuff up in a very proprietary way, but I can't find a Mr. Heater torch attachment anywhere. And the one I have that fits a Coleman doesn't seem to work on Mr. Heater.........Anybody...?
Not sure. I've never tried it.
Sorry your wrong brass caps will not stop a leak from a bad valve 😢
You’re right…the RUBBER in the caps will.
I got mine at Tractor Supply. Why give Jeff Bezos more money?
@@GrantSR because he’s the man. I love Amazon. 😂👍
