Good to see mama making sure her father lives with her in his older age. Very rare we see children helping their parents out in western countries as they get older. This is very, very common overseas and it's something I plan on doing with my parents when they get to a certain age where they need help.
I sincerely love this family!! you know she is a blessed woman! love the relationship with her dad and her son! what a big heart she has, wanting a house big enough so that her family members!
The #2 house was my favourite and it was very elegant and beautiful. #1 works as well, though. I love how she's buying a home to share with her family. That's what many communities do and it's wonderful to keep the family together this way pool money and resources...generational wealth. This is also my goal as well.
I love this family and how invested the son was. The comment about being in the kitchen with his mom was sweet and it was nice to see how this decision affected each generation's perspective.
The evidence of how well you’ve done as a parent is your involvement in your children’s lives when they’re adults. Beautiful choice and I’d love to see updates
There are many parts of Houston where that same home would be $2 million. Spring is an outer suburb on the northern end of the Houston metro area. Very nice though, and diverse (Hispanic majority). I liked the homes curb appeal and I bet she got a good interest rate too. The dad seems cool.
100K over asking may seem crazy but the market was so hot at that time, EVERYTHING was going for over asking and some sellers had crazy demands, offers made even a few hours after a house was listed would have budding wars.
knowing that they already bought one of the houses going in this family did a great job finding so many faults with what turned out to be the house they had already purchased so we couldn't tell that was it! lol
Miami Vacation Texas prices vary GREATLY with neighborhoods You could easily go into Houston proper in areas like memorial , River Oaks belaire and spend 2-3 times that amount for the same square footage
I had to play the video back. She paid 100,000 more than the asking price. It is a lot of questions running through my head. Someone please correct me on this one? Overall congratulations to your new home!
She offered the 100k over asking to increase the probability of acceptance of the offer. If she had offered asking, she’d risk losing in a bidding war.
@@abundancelivingtv1271 No problem. I had the house appraised and inspected. The inspection came back with about $10k in repairs that the seller’s credited back to me. I bought this home 4/2022.
property taxes in Texas are outrageous & shes more like 45 mins from houston w/o traffic but the 4th most populated city in the U.S. theres always traffic.
I know she was probably kidding, but we have to stop spreading the lie that Texas has the best BBQ 😂😂 You want BBQ, go to Tennessee or my home state Mississippi. Your taste buds will thank me later.
Eastern North Carolina. Sauce is just vinegar and peppers, like Blackbeard brought to our shores in the early 1700s. Coleslaw, some kind of potato dish, hushpuppies, sweet iced tea, and peach cobbler or banana pudding--made from scratch, of course.
I dont understand “needing” a gigantic house for four people. The sons will move out (maybe not, lol) and dad will not be around forever. She will end up alone in a massive house. To each their own.
I agree. She'll be an empty nearer in 5 to 10 years, maybe. Then it'll be her & her dad, until dad passes. She talked about entertaining & having relatives over, but that's only on occasion. I forgot if the 1st house has a 1/F bedroom for her dad. To each their own, I guess.
This family had good banter among them. I was surprised they didn't pick the second house. They all seemed to fall in love with that one.
You and me both. That 2nd house looked perfect honestly.
Only 4 bedrooms
@@terrancesaunders23 right. The first one ticked the most boxes: roomy, lower price, curb appeal, good kitchen. That third option was a joke.
Yeah, I was thinking the same
that and price i think. i loved the second house

I love that her son is interested in home stuff 😂
Yes, he seemed like a good kid!
Paying $100K over the asking price is not smart.
@@rpcrealpeopleconsulting6324 that was how the market was during the covid times
@@rpcrealpeopleconsulting6324 I guess she didn't want to risk it. Maybe there were other offers.
I love that she wants space for all family, especially her Dad
God bless this women she takes good care of her father
I liked house #2 more closet space and white kitchen - plus a pool. Not sure why she would offer $100,000 over the asking price on house #1.
I sincerely love this family!! you know she is a blessed woman! love the relationship with her dad and her son! what a big heart she has, wanting a house big enough so that her family members!
Thank you 🙏🏿. This message made my day.
Second house was so comfortable and pretty! And what a good kid. Good family.
The #2 house was my favourite and it was very elegant and beautiful. #1 works as well, though. I love how she's buying a home to share with her family. That's what many communities do and it's wonderful to keep the family together this way pool money and resources...generational wealth. This is also my goal as well.
This woman is amazing! Very loving, ambitious, loves her family and is caring. ❤
Thank you 🙏🏿 💜
She raised a good son, you can tell.
Her father raise a good daughter
Def love this Fam...they have good vibes , first house def stunning, house num 2 is beautiful as well. House num 3 is a complete joke 🤣
Of course they accepted her offer, it was $100 000 over asking!!! 😮😮
That’s what I said, there’s no way 😂😂
🤭🤭🤭
kind of dumb
Just stupid
I love this family and how invested the son was. The comment about being in the kitchen with his mom was sweet and it was nice to see how this decision affected each generation's perspective.
What a lovely family. I know that they will be happy and prosperous together in that lovely home.
Jacob is very mature. Even if you get a home for $700k, it won’t be perfect. Well said! 👊
I love the second house
I agree second house would have been better
@@AlexBormel but the front view design of the first is nice too
The 2nd home had way too many mosquitoes for us. We had to take Benadryl for days after we toured.
@@thelendingvillage Mosquitoes are awful so I get it.
saaame the exterior and the landscaping was immaculate
Nyesha has a heart the size of Texas! I think it's very sweet of her to consider being able to support extended family in their new home.
One of my favourite families on this show ever! I love how her father is moving in with them, so lovely
Good choice for them. #3 is awful, a teardown.
Ye
Yeah that pool looks like a kiddie pool 🏊♂️
What a lovely family!
The evidence of how well you’ve done as a parent is your involvement in your children’s lives when they’re adults. Beautiful choice and I’d love to see updates
I like it that she is helping other family members too. Cool homes….
Mind blown. A house like the one they chose would be well over $2 million in Denver.
There are many parts of Houston where that same home would be $2 million. Spring is an outer suburb on the northern end of the Houston metro area. Very nice though, and diverse (Hispanic majority). I liked the homes curb appeal and I bet she got a good interest rate too. The dad seems cool.
The second house was gorgeous! Nice family.
I cannot imagine how much it cost to heat and cool a house like this
The third house does really have a big tub and not a pool
Thought the 2nd house would have been the choice🥴Congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉
House two was everything!
100K over asking may seem crazy but the market was so hot at that time, EVERYTHING was going for over asking and some sellers had crazy demands, offers made even a few hours after a house was listed would have budding wars.
The second house seemed like home it was beautiful but I can see why they picked number 1
I love that the son was passionate about cooking 💙 Great choice 🏡
I don't know how old this episode is but if it's pretty recent you can sure buy a lot of home for not much money in Texas.
I love every families will be together
"Where the pool?" "That's a big bath tub" 🤣😂🤣
Big bath tub, aquarium, spa took me out. 😂😂😂
knowing that they already bought one of the houses going in this family did a great job finding so many faults with what turned out to be the house they had already purchased so we couldn't tell that was it! lol
Congratulations! I’ve never been to Spring but hope it’s working out for the family.
What good looking people. She doesn'tn look old enough to have two almost grown sons and her father sure does NOT look old enough to be a grandpa.
Aweeee, thank you.
The 2nd house was gorgeous!
I love this family.
What a great family.
You picked the right home!!! Talk about flexibility! I wish I could bring Texas prices to my state.
"They're saying 'mooo-ve on in!'"
That was a bullseye 🎯
happy for her and her family ❤
I love the house with the cows. Very peaceful environment 🌷
They seem like a nice family.
Compare with $700,000 tiny
broken house in Denver or Miami, Texas is way more cheaper😍
Miami Vacation
Texas prices vary GREATLY with neighborhoods
You could easily go into Houston proper in areas like memorial , River Oaks belaire and spend 2-3 times that amount for the same square footage
These houses were in the suburbs or in small towns.
5 people for 3 generations is a big family?
Makes you want to move to Houston!
Thats a big bath tub 🤣
so beautiful to watch
I'm glad they picked the first one because the second one had too many trees
I didn't know you could have too many trees.
Pretty cool episode,I hope she picked the right house like grandfather. Latayna Ellicott,I do understand parenting an grandparents.😮
Although the house She picked is nice, I liked House #2 😁
this is the best way to watch this show. I cant stand it on tv smh
Love this family…

Ask away! This is my house 🙂. It is now worth $300k over asking.
@@thelendingvillage Did you wave the inspection on the home? What year that you purchase the home as well? Thanks for allowing me to ask questions.
@@abundancelivingtv1271 No problem. I had the house appraised and inspected. The inspection came back with about $10k in repairs that the seller’s credited back to me. I bought this home 4/2022.
@@Kytnbit exactly - no bidding war and the house across the street sold for $800k the next month.
That first house would be a million here in mckinney. It’s crazy how much cheaper it is in the houston area
I love this family!
I am 90% sure they would have accepted an offer of 500k in minutes that is pretty dumb to offer 550k, especially for a claimed expert.
People who say “ I don’t do dishes “ think that’s a flex 😂😂😂😂 get over yourself
Тато такий жартівник! Гарну доньку виростив!
She tripping. That first home office was gorgeous! Smh.
House 3 is a dump! 😱
ugh the 2nd house is so perfect
The second house is huge but dark
Paying more than the asking price is what has driven real estate prices up. If people would just wait the prices would go down.
I like any house with a pool and a nice kitchen
I like this and House #2 is the best
I love her son❤
Sorry, but the Best bbq is in North Carolina!!!👏🏽👏🏽❤️
450k would get you a shoe box in west Surburban Chicago.
Tell me about it. I bought in River Forest. I just saw a piece of land going for that.
Ughhh....that's for sure
never understand over paying that much. wow super crazy. I was surprised she chose that house..
I think she over offered on the house if that was a starting point. Above asking sure, but not 100K over to start.
property taxes in Texas are outrageous & shes more like 45 mins from houston w/o traffic but the 4th most populated city in the U.S. theres always traffic.
100k over asking in Houston 🤢 I’m sorry but nooooo lol
She bought a house instead of the land in option 3, huge elementary mistake
I agree in terms of buying land, but the house itself (3) looked horrible inside and out. The layout was horrible inside and out.
I love how people keep overpaying for houses. These are the people that are causing financial problem in the housing market
She could’ve offered way less and it would’ve been accepted anyway
We did offer less and they countered.
Na bidding wars are harsh
House 2 was beautiful but not enough bedrooms and the save 107k they can brighten up their house and get a nice poor with change
16 hours a day to work????? What a life
Great family, great choice
Houses like these are easy 3 million+ in Ontario
Those are cows, they said move on in.😂😂😂😂
In what world would it cost 5k to paint cabinets
Lol.... Mooooow...ve on in
I'm surprised that they paid 100,000 more.
$450k?! Wow! That's cheap!!! It can't be brick all the way around.
Or the Mid-west
I feel like compared to Vegas!! It has to be so much better 😂
KC BBQ say We the best lol
That's a beautiful home and the father is handsome.
Luuuuuv the brick house
What’s with the dad how big of a room does he need
Stop. Moving. To. Texas.
Nah 😂

Couldn’t do the cows … the wind blows the wrong way and all you’ll smell is manure.
A castle… not a house. A room not big enough? Ridicolous
For you. Not for everyone buddy..
How old is this? These prices are crazy low
She said she closed in 4/22 😊
Island gas range is so dumb
aren't bear claws donuts?
This episode was rushed. we didn’t even get to see the inside of the last home 4th bedroom that was seperate from the house. 😢
