This is my favorite Fixer Upper renovation. They did so much with the amount of money they had. The living area is exactly my style. Love the bright and airy simplistic feel to it.
They haven't changed the doors or windows, and there's a huge gap under the dining room's French doors, so the warm air or the cold air will easily get in. Big no-no.
Beautifully done. All there stuff is wonderful. I am questioning the gap under the dining room door. Was in the before and the after. I would think that they would pay attention to a detail like that. Oh also...it looked like the original chain on the front door remained painted. Just little details that make me wonder how much attention is really being paid.

And I always thought it was unrealistic--with the huge empire they have now--to think that Chip is there all day putting up drywall or plastering. He's got others to do that now. And now that they won't have the TV show, he won't have to do it at all.
Really??? Shorty is on there quite a bit. Chip and Jo started their business thru hard work which became an empire so they HAD to hire people. What an ignorant comment!

Mixed stucco exterior? No!!! Would have removed the stucco entirely.
Don't like the look of the exterior at all, and they won't be happy when that concrete counter top stains and the stainless scratches.
Someone on an Instagram account, said they would never do concrete again, it stained and they can't get it out!
@@Kimberlyk12 Concrete is very porous and stains very easily, as does marble, another material overused in many kitchens and bathrooms.
Steel is easy to disinfect.
Concrete will crack regardless
