Thank you for this. Do the ladies complain when getting in and out of your 4-in Lift Truck? I have a stock Silverado I do not want to go too tall and so the 3 1/2 to 4 looks right. But I have a lot of short co-workers and my wife that climb in and out. Curious on what their feedback is
What gearing do you have in these trucks? I have 3.55 gears and am worried about going this big without re-gearing. If you have 3.55, how does it drive? Did you feel a big power difference?
If you do a 4” lift you can get away with 33-35’s with your tires. If you do a 6” lift you can do a set of 35’s all day, anything larger than 35’s you WILL have to re-gear your back end.
I have a '19 F150 king ranch leveled on 35's. I'm wanting to go to a 4" lift for that little extra aggressive look. What lift exactly is on your platinum? Is front and rear the sane height with it or is there still a rake?
I have a 2019 XLT currently with a 2.5" level and seriously considering going to a 4" or 6" lift. I'm running 295/70R18 Nitto Ridge Grapplers which as you know are slightly over 34". Would 6" make the tires look too small/silly? Also you stated that there wasn't much difference in height between the 2 trucks that you showcased in this video. I'm assuming there's a 4 inch difference?
I’ve got the same setup except my rims are the 20” King Ranch chromes. Can’t decide whether I want the 4 or 6 either. Wife said she thinks 4 looks better and 6 is too much. Sounds familiar 🤣
Just looked it up on custom offsets. They don't have a 22 but for a 20 they have a 1 , 19, and 20 offset. My guess its the 20 since its got a flush stance to it even with the 12.50 wide tire
I need new tires soon. Have a 2014 f150xtr black in color. Stock tires on it now. I’m thinking of three tires, perelli scorpion plus, nitto g2 and k02’s. I currently get 13.9L per 100km. I’m always hwy driving, however October 1-6 hunting. Which of three are best for fuel economy?
So I have question.. I’m very new to the truck game I been car guy my whole until my balls finally dropped and I said F it I’m gettin truck! So I have 2018 F150 fx4 off road.. it has 2.5inch level kit and 33 inch nitto G2’s on it now... am I able to add an 4inch lift to it as is? Or will the leveling kit need to come off? I wish I could go 6inches however then it won’t fit in my garage and I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico the auto theft capital of USA lol.. thanks for any info!!
If you installed a 4” Lift you would have to remove the level kit. If u go any more than a level kit the 33s are going to look too small. Thanks for watching
How does the truck run with 35s? Do you have the 302 v8 or 3.5 twin turbo 6. I was always thought anything other than 33s and you are going to be sluggish unless you regear.
Great video, the truck on the left is sweet! Im about to install a BDS 2.5 level kit on my 2018 FX4 and want to put 34 inch tires with original 18in wheels. Did you do any trimming or cut crash bars? Thanks in advance
I recently purchased my 2019 Ford F-150 XLT Sport 4x4 from Akins, and I want to install a level kit. Does the 2.5” level kit cause the front to sit higher than the rear? Also, what is the largest tire size I could install with the level kit and factory 20” wheels?
Samuel Finch our level kits will have your truck sitting nice and level. You can run up to a 35 on a level kit depending on what wheel combo you looking at. We would love to help. -Neal
Do you know what the height of the truck is with the 4” lift and 35’s is? I am wanting to do a similar setup to my truck but want to still be able to fit in a 7’ garage
Hello Richard. I have a 2017 f-150 with a 4 inch lift and 35" inch tires and it's about 6' feet 9 inches tall. Same height as my work van which is a 2003 15 passenger E350 van and I go into parking garages all the time that have a 7' foot clearance. I live in the Seattle area and parking garages are everywhere I go. Anyway have a good day.
Haha you know you ain't off-road! If you need clearance get a rubicon. Trucks suck on any trails. I learned my lesson. That's why I have a JL Rubicon to take to out and my F150 to daily drive.

What offset did you choose? I like the look, bold but not too aggressive.

How much does it cost for a 4 in lift kit and the black mat rims and tires
depending on which lift and setup you choose, anywhere between $4,500-7000.

How is the angle of the ball joints and CV shafts with just the level kit
If you’re just using blocks it’s pretty maxed out.

Jim H even with 35s with either engine it runs strong. No need to regear
Would a 20x12 on a 35 fit on the 4 inch lift? If so would I have to remove the crash bar or should I just go down to a 20x10
Dany Acosta yes it would fit if you remove crash bars
What kind of suspension lifts and leveling kits are you using?
JC McA BDS 4” and ReadyLIFT level kit
JC McA I installed a BDS leveling kit, and was able to put 295/70 r18. No trimming and rubbing at all.
@@RealDealNeal Do you know what the total height was on each truck once it was completed?

The 4" lift and 35's is on my personal truck and its fits in my 7' garage so I can confidently tell you it clears with no problem. Thanks
Awesome thanks so much for your reply, I have been trying to find that info for over a month

What was the offset
What rear blocks are you using for the 4"?
The rear blocks that came with the BDS kit.
No rake with it? All the 4” lifts I’ve seen they have rear rake still. Only one that levels it is the 6” from I’ve seen.
