- This is a before and after video of a 2019 F150 XLT with the sport package, customized with the Donnelly Ford Custom Level II package! Check out a detailed video showing almost all of the work done on our Level II package! This customer had some special requests and we happily accommodated them! Check out the video, let me know what you think of the final product and if there is anything you would have done differently!
I appreciate the detail and effort that went into this upgrade. I cringed though, watching how the truck was washed. Your customer has good taste in parts and accessories.

Great looking but the thing i wouldve done different is have you remove all the stickers and decals, not put more on.

Nice build. Agree with previous comment on doing blacked-out emblems front and back, and maybe some different side rails for a more custom look.
I have a 2017 F-150 XLT with Level II. VIN traces her back to Boisvert Ford. Seats have the LEVEL II braided stitching. Only wish it was supercharged. Here in the states its one of a kind!!!

Similar setup on my truck with lift wheels and tires but mine is the FX4 model.
His was an FX4 as well. You can add that on to a few of the different trim packages. This was an XLT FX4
Upgrade to some Bilstien 5100's to level it instead of the spacer

Yikes, using a brush to wash brand new black paint...did you charge extra for the paint swirls & scratches or is that included no extra charge?
I would agree with you however my detailers get new brushes quite frequently and are meticulous with how they store them. Thanks for the feedback though!

It is the grill from the F150 with the Special Edition Package, the one that comes with the stripe down the side. This is not the first time we have been asked to switch out for this grill, looks real sharp.

Probably is more of a $5k addendum. I’m a lot tech at ford we have the special SCA trucks with custom everything for a total of $20k above msrp.

Scrub brush + black paint = terrible scratches when they offer to clean always refuse it 😬😬
Pro comp is the only lift that fits and rides correctly on our f150
Bad Levelling kit install you’re supposed to loosen upper control arms bolts put everything together take the weight off of the suspension then tighten the bolts so you don’t put extra stress on your bushings
You must public the link to obtain the parts used in that truck to obtain the same parts for the same job

We will use whatever the customer requests. For this one I believe we used the Skyjacker kit.

Would’ve blacked out the badges on the fenders and grill and tailgate , not a big fan of the dual exhaust to much play of the pipes.

I don’t understand lifting and leveling. Isn’t the truck level? If not why not? Why wouldn’t it be made correctly. Im guessing leveling increases gas mileage. Don’t understand why it’s not made Efficiently
What was the wheel and tire combination on this
Looks like a 20x9 305 55r20 Good Year Wrangler Duratrac.
The 305 vs 275 adds 1.13 height and 1.18 in width. Suprising they would not fit assuming a +44 offset wheel without needing a lift. If you going to spend that kind of money on the suspension go with a bigger and better tier.

Is this a 5.0 or a 3.5 ecoboost?
5.0L, typically the only engine we will use for our custom trucks. Gives the best sound!
The truck is a beauty just got mine I have a 3.5 ecoboost and iam gonna do exact same thing this truck has this truck will look better if it was a 4inch lift

Quick question, Why would you use a brush to clean the truck especially black? Your just putting swirl marks in a brand new vehicle for a customer?
Our detailers are very experienced and store their brushes very well. Also, they switch them out quite frequently. They are not like the brushes you would find at a coin wash.

Like the video for sure. I'm curious as to why your shop approved the catalytic converter delete? Basically violating epa guidelines. I get it if the owner does it themselves, but I really think you should hold yourselves to a higher standard and kindly refuse to eliminate epa required equipment.
He did not remove the catalytic converter. As you say, that is violating guidelines and is illegal, which is something we would never do. Even if a customer requested us to do that we wouldn't. Thanks for the comment though!

We use the American Thunder Exhaust with the Skyjacker Levelling kit.

Did you need to cut out the crash bars in the front to make space for the tires?
Yes, we had to trim down the inside of the front wheel well and remove the crash bar in order to prevent any rubbing.

Can you be clear as to what wheel well accommodations were made? Several times you said "minor plastic trimming," then other times you said "removed crash bars." That's not minor.

@@GrantSchubertcustom …insurance refused to pay me for damages to the front end behind crash bar in a 20mph crash. Said if crash bar were present, damage would not have occurred. Now im fighting with insurance company. Ford did the work, but wont defend me at all. Insurance adjuster claims it’s a violation to remove or modify the crash bar. Never heard of such a thing in my life 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️😡

Lol. I'm not sure what the poor fitting leather seats would run, but dual exhaust is a few hundred. Wheels/tires/2" spacer lift front/rear with alignment is less than $3k. Not sure where the other $7000 comes from, but my guess would be a "convenience fee" for dudes who don't know how to modify themselves.

Yes, we trim the plastic in the front wheel wells to prevent rubbing.

Depending on the exact upgrades you are looking for it would range between $6-10k CAD
For me it would be the wheel package, 2.5in level kit and exhaust.
What is the part number for the new grille, where can I source it?
JL3Z-8200-PU is the grill number and JL3Z-8213-A is the emblem. Your local Ford dealer should be able to get it for you. If not we can certainly help out!
The dealer where I purchased my 2019 XLT told me that they can not install a leveling kit cuz it could damage by changing the angle of the half shafts ... in prior models it was not a problem but for the year of my truck it is. The suspension and alignment guy from the dealer recommends against it. Idk never heard of this before
We are installing a level kit on a 2020 F150 as we speak. I think maybe they were worried about not doing the job properly and something breaking? Bring your truck up to us and we will get it done!

20" wheels with 33" tires, we do a bit of trimming to ensure there is no rubbing of the tires.

Yes, we had to trim down the inside of the front wheel well in order to prevent any rubbbing. It is something we do with 95% of our custom trucks.

@@AzFlipMan it is a very minor modification to the wheel well. If you want to do absolutely none, you would have to go smaller than 33"
At least spray over the rust on the underside and prepare for salt.
How much is the leather seats .
A set of katzkinz with that style and stitching is around 1500 depending on the company you buy from. That's installed too. There are some knock offs on ebay for 600 but they aren't full leather and you still have to install them or pay for them to be installed.
