- You cant have good light all the time, in fact most of the time, the light is average at best. In this video I do my best with the conditions I had.

The forest with moss AND the clarity of the drone camera while shooting in the forest.....BRILLIANT!
BUT THE OCEAN..... Honestly, when I saw the seascape, I gasped out loud because it is SO BEAUTIFUL!
I'm going to watch this many times to catch anything I missed...
Thoroughly enjoyed every minute! Yes...being at home during this pandemic and then seeing images like this, absolutely takes me on the journey!!

Yeah we are very spoiled for public land here in America. Yep this was the S3.. That opening scene was shot at ISO 20,000 :). Would love to point this thing at the night sky soon

Thanks for doing these videos. I can imagine it takes a lot of scouting, setup, breakdown, and editing to get these out so its appreciated. I think we're all feelin the rona cabin fever and no one is looking forward to the colder winter months. Get out while you still can people!
What i like about Nicks videos is the epic scenery, great photos and moody video editing, plus the music is powerful and moody.

Hands down, to me you are the Grand Master of Big Waves photography. I only wish the next place to where I live having waves like these (i.e. Brittany), wasn't hundreds of Kilometers away across three countries, let alone corona conditions.

Thanks for the video, Nick. I live on the wet..I means west side of our state. If you don't shot in the rain or under heavy overcast, you don't do much photography. Good tips to help me in that.
I like the added bird segments, more of that in the future when possible. Really helps to tell the story I think. And what an amazing coastal location!

When i saw a new Nick Page video was out i clicked it expecting a mesmerizing audio-visual experience with ASMR elements such as unzipping bags, mounting cameras and and filters...
Instead i got stunning seascapes and stoner/desert/sludge rock. It all fits SO well!

Man, these phots look great, my attempts to capture leaves and trees during a sunny day always make it look over sharpened and oversaturated even if I'm using filters, I don't know what to do to achieve this type of quality of images.
That is a lovely, moody, shot of the tree in the spotlight, and superb one of the water and rocks. Your cinematography rocks, too!

I miss those west coast waves...some day soon hopefully. Great video as usual, and perfect timing for the inspiration! After more months of being stuck at home, I’m heading up to the Algonquin Park area next week for fall colours. Just a bit nervous as the colours seemed to have peaked a bit earlier this year.

It is refreshing to see a local photographer venturing in the pacific northwest area. I get quite inspired by the adventures you post and hopefully you get more of them. Composition is the most important thing. A well composed shot in average light is still a good shot, but a badly composed image in great light is bound for the trash can. My morning shoot today was in indifferent light, but the subject was a good one, so hoping the images will turn out ok when edited. Thanks for the Vlog.

Funny, I got up this to get sunrise sea/bay shots and we were socked in. I headed up in the mountains instead and when I came home and sat down to do some editing saw your video. Great stuff, as always.

I'm glad I was eating breakfast as I started to watch or you'd have made me hungry Nick!! Love the sea arch/cave. it looked like your tripod was set up on sand on the beach. Can I ask how you stop it shifting as the waves come & go? I've tried some things but the action of the waves shifting the sand as they come and go always seems to result in at least 1 tripod leg moving. Thanks.
I think I need to create a video on the subject, but essentially... spikes on the legs, and taking the time to push the feet down when you first get set up so it is already sunk in.. so future waves done move it
