This one was a great tour! The art work statues were incredible! His equipment was not ultra expensive, but more real world. I found I really enjoyed this tour! 👍
This was so enjoyable to watch. I had no idea that statues of this caliber were available to the public. His whole house is a museum to superhero creations. Love to see a person dedicated to his collectable passion.
Amazing collection and Joel pointed out something I don't think has been mentioned in any of the tours up to now... and that is, the importance of matching the sound with the size of the screen. It's that balance where the magic happens.
You’re welcome Lee. But honestly, I didn’t have any control of that. I share whatever tours are submitted. It just happened that the guys in Kansas City or a bit over the top and have some crazy set ups. The same with Wisconsin / Illinois Tour

Very nice. This was enjoyable as a lot of people got interested in home audio / video after their homes were built. Good to see the setups where you use the existing space to do the best you can. Most times it is not perfect, but it works. He also had equipment that is more readily available to most.
I don't think many people could afford all those collectables. They aren't cheap, some go for very high prices. I would imagine the total for all the collectables in the video is a small fortune. Costing more than the AV equipment. But yeah take away all the collectables. And it's a more attainable home theatre for many people.
This is so cool! Your kids are lucky that you have such a fun environment to watch tv/movies. It's gorgeous to see a beautiful family enjoying such a great hobby together ❤
Hi Michael another great tour. All those collectibles rock. Joel could charge admission to see the collection and people would pay. Love that living room theater setup. Of course I probably wouldn’t leave the kitchen! Please thank Joel for letting us viewers have a visit!

I really appreciate this family having fun, but for me personally I like to have just one room that is my home theater space and the rest of my house be "normal". If that brown door to the right of the screen is really his front door, another thing I would do is move the equipment to the back of the room and get some on-wall speakers and lower profile subwoofers that way you're not walking into all that and the front of the room is cleaner.

Joel is blessed to have a wonderful wife who respects his passion! I wanted to put a 2 channel audio system in the living room to be an alternative to the home theatre room, but it ended up being a small active speaker pair.
Crazy home theater house man! Awesome… I’m from Buffalo as well…. Still live up here though! I miss Stereo Advantage so much, it was where I bought my first stereo. I love Speaker Shop on Main St… just wish they had more space for a show room home theater or 2.
Hi Youthman, I’ve been wanting to have a dedicated Home Theater in my Basement for years but my wife won’t have it. So I took a spare bedroom which measures only 12x13x8 feet. I have a 65 inch DLP. For front Left and Right are Polk Audio 11t, Two Velodye Subwoofers One is an 8 inch the other is 10 inch speaker. For the rears I have Polk Audio bookshelf speakers and in the ceiling Polk Audio. I want to do a Atmos setup. My plan is to purchase Onkyo Rz50 9.2.4 along with Emotivo A6. But I’m not sure the best way to set it up. Have the Emotivo for the subs and Atmos and front stage on the RZ50. Not really sure how to connect. Any advise?
Hi Kevin, IMO, the A6 would be great for powering 6 Atmos speakers. I would consider the A5 and power your front LCR and side surrounds. Or if you have a 7.1 setup, get the A7 and power your front LCR, side and back surrounds. The A6 is going to leave you with an extra channel as your front LCR will take up 3 of those channels leaving you with an uneven amount of channels available to power other speakers. Hope that helps.
@@Youthman I saw one of your earlier videos where you started out with a Budget friendly set up and with the buy and sell and trades your system grew into what you have now. Another very nice video. Congrats.. I have those towers that I also bought in 2007. I replace my center channel with the new rc 64. I upgraded everything else but still undecided about which tower should I get... I love how loud and powerful the Rf 83's are.... Any suggestions on some very good loud and clear towers that have a very good and powerful center channel? I have a Mc 611 for the center channel and a mc 462 for the towers.
Love the items I had so much of that suff put it all away. Bit I have a arcade now so make trade offs . But not so much budget. Lol those figures cost as much as the other shiz
@youthman I enjoyed this collection of memorabilia for sure. His is a good example but have you run into other open rear theaters? If so what were owner's work arounds? I have an open rear, 21' deep theater space with rear bar seating. I am thinking about having a curtain and rail system. Thoughts?
I love the wall texture and everything else but the wall texture is great how was that done. I'm sure there's videos on it thanks Michael to you and all the other video creators I always say if it's on UA-cam I can fix it lol
This is such a cool setup. Quick question, As someone who’s a beginning home theatre enthusiast & also a gamer, I wonder what the gaming experience is like for him & others that use projectors , because I’ve seen on various forums that latency is a big issue for people that have projectors.
I game on my JVC NX7 several times a week. Granted I’m a casual gamer. Hardcore gamers may see the lag but I have never noticed it and absolutely enjoy gaming on my setup.
He doesn't really have a home theatre, his home seems to be in a theatre. My wife would never let me put "memorabilia" in the living room, kitchen, hallway,......😅😅
Too much STUFF. Clutter. Less is more. Just because there is a blank spot doesn’t mean you need to put something there. All of this stuff everywhere is a nightmare to keep dusted and clean. Thats my opinion
I think UA-cam was buggy because we all got to the end of the video and it just stopped working altogether but now and I watch that section of the video it’s working fine
Pretty sure Joel isn’t concerned with what other people think of his setup. He has built his home for him and his family to enjoy (which they do VERY much).

Thoughts?
Awesome setup! Very cool house. Love it! Thanks for sharing.
Great setup!!!
Thank you Michael for shooting this video!!!
Glad enjoyed it David. I have a new one dropping this Wednesday at noon EST
Great job
Super cool👍😃
"We didn't have a choice." Can't wait to see if that works with my wife🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
I love the wall texture and everything else but the wall texture is great how was that done. I'm sure there's videos on it thanks Michael to you and all the other video creators I always say if it's on UA-cam I can fix it lol
Very cool space!! Congrats to the owner
I actually have a Hitachi Ultra Vision plasma in my bedroom.
Mine was the old wooden cabinet rear projection tv!
@@joelgreen1802 it was the first plasma I bought. I got it back in 2008.
damn envious here
I must know what the amount of rattling there was in that room with all the knick knacks
None that I heard. As he mentioned, he has added rubber pads to them.
Love this tour ❤️ great video
changing an old tube amp to solid state is the most sacreligous thing I have ever seen
great video .....
Thank you John
Holy Crap! I misspoke again! Han shot first not Greedo!!!
He doesn't really have a home theatre, his home seems to be in a theatre. My wife would never let me put "memorabilia" in the living room, kitchen, hallway,......😅😅
I think most of our wives feel the same
I may show this to my wife to show her what other wives put up with.. hahahaha
forget the cinema, his wife must be the coolest woman ever haha. full points to him landing her haha
Are the subs getting in the way of the towers on the first one? Also the Center seems a bit underwhelming
Not sure how a 64 lb center channel would be considered underwhelming. 😉 I have owned the RC64. It’s quite capable.
SAIR IAM FROM KERALA YOUR PRESANTION IS AWESOME KEEP IT UP
Thank you for the kind words
You either one, not married or two make a great deal of money and your wife don't care. 🤑💸🤣 JK by the way.
Haha
Or have a wife that loves this stuff too! :)
👆👆👆
My wife says I can only have one home theater.
One is enough
imagine cleaning all those dolls
Regular guy .. i want this room for myself , you "wife " can have the rest of the house ... This guy ... the whole house is mine.. ..lol
Thats a lot of dusting dude the wife must be a super cleaner or you hahaha
Joel said he dust them with the painters brush. Very tedious process
Nice video!
Thank you kindly
tell me you live in a bachelor pad without telling me you live in a bachelor pad
Pretty sure he is happily married. Just had an awesome wife
@@Youthman joke went over your head, but yes he is clearly married with 3 kids..
I got it. I’m on the TikItyTok 🤣
@@Youthman I don’t even have TikTok…. He has a very patient wife
very nice living room ! "but", i see 2 MAJOR mistakes with the gear setup.
I found it entering made the same statement on two separate home theaters. Just curious if you have an agenda.
@@Youthman no, other than to hope to contribute to the hobby. btw, my 2 concerns are surround height, and screens "on" the wall
Ok I just thought it strange you copy pasted the same statement on two separate tours.
@@Youthman ... i just found your channel, so i could comment a lot more, but will not. i have had versions of HT for 35 years, learned a lot.
I learn something new every day. The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don’t know
Im a statue collector and i cant believe this guy got statues in the kitchen... All that grease heat ehhh
Make sure you check out this collection I just posted - ua-cam.com/video/Oo270CNGUyc/v-deo.html
@@Youthman he got all the good stuff nice!
I need to redefine affordable.
It first starts with mindset.
That’s a lot of dusting 😂
Too much STUFF. Clutter. Less is more. Just because there is a blank spot doesn’t mean you need to put something there. All of this stuff everywhere is a nightmare to keep dusted and clean. Thats my opinion
Good thing this isn’t your home huh. 😉
No sound?
Plenty of sound. 😉 Try refreshing your browser
@@Youthman I did after 3 times it worked.
I think UA-cam was buggy because we all got to the end of the video and it just stopped working altogether but now and I watch that section of the video it’s working fine
"Budget"
He needs to put all his collectibles in one room. It looks ridiculous with multiple themes clashing in each room.
Pretty sure Joel isn’t concerned with what other people think of his setup. He has built his home for him and his family to enjoy (which they do VERY much).
It just looks so crowded for that small house 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
