This guy is amazing. His attention to detail is incredible. Simple basics such as slippers or socks at the door plus blankets is never mentioned in other home theater setups. That’s how you make people feel at home. I love the tables in the back. They are gorgeous. Those small details make all the difference. Anyone can spend a lot of money on speakers, electronics and treatment. Making people feel at home and super relaxed is the key to an amazing experience.
That looks like the most comfortable home theater room setup I've ever seen. It's guaranteed you will fall asleep in there more than once - even if the film isn't boring, LOL!
Buenos días. La mejor y más bonita que he visto y han sido muchas. Felicidades, eres muy agraciado por tenerla junto a tu familia. Saludos desde Gran Canaria in Spain.
Question about the RTJ subwoofers: Does the RTJ amp have 2 or 4 amplifier inputs? I would like to know if each sub is individually controlled or if they are connected in pairs? Or some other connection/control method?
Good evening, it's kind of amazing, I've been imagining my dream theater lately and describing your exact theater ( with a few minor differences,)for the past few weeks before even watching this video! Congratulations! My name is Rudy and I'm an enthusiast in the Allen area. I have a couple of friends who have amazing theaters of their own in the Dallas area and would love to make contact
@FURognar I feel you. It really makes me want to breakdown the room, rework the lighting and then put everything back. I have some color Roku bulbs that I use but, I really like his wall to ceiling to wall lights.
@@obi1cannoli777 I have a light running from the screen wall all the way to the back wall at the top of the right side of the ceiling. Plan to do the same on the left side but I have a leak on the back left side of my room I need to fix first. I will probably run lights under the riser to my back row after I build it, but that needs to wait till I put in the carpet. I'm trying to think where else can I put light strips where it will look amazing. I'm thinking the entry way will work as its pretty large. I think the light will help it stand out. Not sure where else though. My room isnt exactly great for a theater but its all I had to work with.
@@hatoraidcowboyyeah. He uses velvet speaker covers for his left and right and he quickly mentioned it was custom made by someone on eBay I believe but didn’t mention who
I have typed this answer out 4 times on desktop and iphone... not sure what is happening. Not sure if there is a filter when I mention a online company that has been doing auctions for over 3 decades - Starts with an E. Look for a company called CoconutCover.
@@hatoraidcowboy my theater? Yeah I moved my old living room system in there so its functional but I still need to do all my upgrades, new subs, new receiver, install lighting, carpet and new furniture. Bare concrete floors and my old couch in there with the upholstery coming apart (kids) so I want to get new furniture before I start inviting people over to watch. As far as a group is concerned, I'll organize it once my theater is ready (presentable) if someone else doesnt do it before then (please, someone else do it! I havent the slightest idea where to start)
@@hatoraidcowboy its something I've been planning for a while but I had to wait till I bought a house. Bought the house last year. Started working on the room earlier this year. Got it painted and drop ceiling tiles changed from white foam to black vinyl. But of course its slow going. Now I have a leaky roof I need to fix before I go much further.
Personally.. Too long winded. Always like seeing a system.. but listening to it described for me is not as entertaining. A list of things and special features are nice to hear about - as needed. I realize this give the owner a chance to talk with pride and moment to be featured .. ( and the length of video for the ads ) Im not a fair example tho.. I've been around all this stuff for a LONG time at all levels so maybe that's just my perspective - having been around it a lot.
See I’m the opposite. There’s sooooo much backstory behind a person’s journey. Where they were, where they are at, where they are going and where they are headed. I want to know all of it.
@@BennyThePhotographer - Not the point ... I WANT the ads on his video and the maximum amount of pay out. The point was .. long videos have more hours to put ads .. AND equals more hours for monetization. Misunderstand my intent.

As much as thiis setup is sick AF. I never liked those big dedicated home theaters. if I wanna go to that experience will just go for the vip section in my local theater. at home I want something cosy that integrated with family and day to day comfort. living room theater seems to me a much better choice instead of sticking such experience in some back room.
To each his own. I love the dedicated space. An open format for home theater is not my thing but I get where you’re coming from with wanting the family to be involved. You can still enjoy a dedicated theater with family too
We go out there together as a family. The cozy couch is perfect for those wanting to snuggle and lounge. I have been to many commercial theaters at every level of quality. I’ve never found one that compares to the level of immersiveness and audio quality a well done HT provides. I’m not saying you are wrong- you know what you like. But a dedicated HT cannot be duplicated in a commercial theater imo.

100% agree. Even down to having phone chargers under the couch and ready with the Valencia seats like he said. Super thoughtful
John, is a tremendous host. Loved working with him on this theater. His room is awesome!
Beautiful home theater! But I think what I enjoyed the most is the enthusiasm for home theater! Great video!
Thank you!
Thanks John for showing us your home theater and explaining the process and why you chose what you chose. It is very helpful.
John you literally thought of everything! Fantastic. Outstanding job!
Thank you for your kind words! Definitely lots of planning. Paid off in dividends!
This is a well done theater, massive and awesome. Great gear and love the finish!
Very nice! I really liked listening to his story.
Thank you!
Thank you sir
Amazing Focal set up 🥰
Blown away by how much you can spend on a theater, BUT how amazing is it !!! His LCR is more than my whole theater. John Brock this is next level
🤣 I feel you on that!
DMF lighting is the best of the best. Props to investing in proper lights as it is often so over looked. Awesome awesome build!

It definitely is cozy and comfortable!
Falling asleep is a constant problem in there! It’s so dark and quiet and relaxing. Unless it’s an intense/loud scene it’s easy to fall asleep!
This theater and video are fantastic, well done!

I agree!
So nice, my dream home theater , did you mention the screen size and type 🤔
Yes he mentions both in the video

The JMLSOPRN2WC are fair speakers. Their not a speaker your gonna write home about. They do their job and do it fairly well.

Which installer built this theater out? And how much did it cost?
-Mehl Home Design built it.
-Dreamedia Home Theater did the design and equipment
-BTZ Audio/Video was the automation/integrator

To get better HDR with Projectors and other hosts of features.
