They look beautiful 😍 😍😍
Thank you! I love them🌱♥️😌
❤️
My only thing about starting with longer hair is that it looks like your hair gets shorter then longer. My locs look like they lost a little length. I have mine for 5 months.
Yes! I totally agree - the shrinkage is real and then when it drops, it shows your real length plus more. It's all part of the phase
I'm goin on my month of my loc journey beautiful locs💜
Thank you and Awesome!! Growth and many patience on your loc journey 🌱🌱♥️

I love your locs. I started my journey on the 20th of this month. How much often do you wash your locs If you don't mind me asking
Thank you and That’s Amazing!👏 Welcome Loc Sis☺️ When I first started , I wash every 2 weeks. Recently, I have been stretching it to 4 weeks max.
What color did you use? I love it, it looks like a chestnut brown
I honestly don’t remember as I colored it a year ago. It was definitely bright like blonde.
hiiii , new subbie here! i just found your channel and i loved how thorough you were in the video & your hair is sooo beautiful ! 😍🧡
i am thinking about getting locs myself and this opened my eyes so much as to what to expect. I have 4c hair and I want to start my loc journey. i was going to do coils but i feel like my hair won't last like that. i feel like 2 strand twists would be more secure and now that i've done more research, that may be what i choose.
questions : did you experience any unraveling with your twists ? when i do mine, my hair in the back is looser and they come out. I can already see that being a problem. what would you recommend for this please ?
Hey! Welcome and thank you so much, I appreciate it!!! That’s great that you found the perfect method to start your Loc Journey. I was thinking about the coils as well but I know how to Two Strand Twist, so I went with that method.
No major unraveling but I did use rubber bands at the end of the twist for the first row in the back when I wash my hair. Couple of times I forgot and 1 or 2 Locs came out completely but I just twisted them back in. By month 6 or before, I didn’t need the rubber bands any more.
I hope that helped !! 😊 Growth and Patience to you on your Journey❤️🌱❤️🌱
thank you for the reply ! i’ll be sure to try that. i am also forgot to ask how do you wash your hair with the twists in ? i don’t want it to unravel at the roots ..
I honestly continued washing my hair as normal. The only special care was the locs at the back with the rubber bands but I shampoo'd and rinse as normal. I have a video of how I washed my hair back then ( 5 Months update ). You can check it out. Feel free to ask any questions ♥️😊
ok, i will check it out ! and thank you so much for the tips! i really appreciate it ❤️
Your Welcome and it's my pleasure ♥️♥️
I just started I am 3 weeks in do you oil or what do you do for the first 6 weeks
Welcome Loc Sister!!! I oiled my scalp and I washed my hair every 2-3 weeks when I first started my Loc Journey😊♥️ My first retwist was at 6 weeks.
If i wanna undo can i ? and still have an afro again? ps your pretty
"Undo" meaning comb out your locs? You sure can. I know a number of persons who have done it - Takes time and patience. Thank you ! 😊
