I love this retwist! Your parts are so crisp! I’m gonna have to try this method as my hair gets longer! I noticed that you didn’t twist all of your locs in the same direction. Is that intentional?
In this video I was still learning how to do my own retwist, which is why I twisted in different directions. I now retwist to the right.

I’m Curious. Was There A Reason Why You Didn’t Use Clips? Is That Method Easier?
I didn’t use clips because they kept untwisting and they were pretty annoying on my neck. I used clips towards the top of head when the hair was too short to pull into the ponytail

@@glogirltee I'm gonna try this method as well because the clips are super annoying and the twist never stays. It takes a few clipping and reclipping before it holds
Beautiful ♥️ I used this method Sunday to retwist mine (I’m almost 2 months loc’d) but when I took the scrunchie off it left a dent in all the locs so I can’t wear them down. How do you get it to not make the dent? Or does yours just not do that?
It made a dent for me as well, but if you spritz it with water the dent will go away. I only kept the hair tie on for max 2 hours before I tied my hair with a scarf and went to sleep

It’s my first time retwisting my own hair, so I guess so!
Did u use a dryer to help the retwist dry and set or did u air dry?
I used a handheld dryer for 5 minutes around my head before I said eff it and let it air dry! Lol
@@RAHKNEESHUH lol. How long did u let it air dry? I'm asking all these questions because my retwist never comes out like that or actually it does look pretty good in the end but it only stays a few days maybe a week if I'm lucky. Can you do a video about your retwist routine from beginning to end so I can get some tips please???
I kept it in this ponytail for 2 hours before I put a scarf over it and went to sleep. I will be filming tomorrow to show you all how my hair looks post retwist!

I did it myself the first 3 months then got a professional retwist. And continued doing that every 4 weeks for 12 weeks. And I just did my own retwist
