Hi Angela, I really enjoyed this video on London Bridge and Millennium Bridge and the fun facts you provided to us. London is my favourite city so, to know more about famous landmarks is always a pleasure for me and it's hard to find decent channels on narrated London walks and you have filled that criteria for me plus a few others I know. I have watched your content on and off for a long time but, I just wanted to say I really enjoyed this one and can't wait for your next narrated walking tour.

Thank you so much for this super-kind comment:) It really is very motivating to hear this and do feel free to comment at any time, as I love hearing from people who take the time to watch my videos. And yes, it's a lovely part of London for a wander, even with a waste transport station! All the best, Angela

Oh Angela! How are you? Lovely to see a new video from you and will make time to view it asap with my mum. Been extremely busy here and so far we've attended around 40 events this year with many more to come. I've already booked Christmas lights in quite a few locations too, such as Kew Gardens and Blenheim Palace. Also already got tickets for events such as Ideal Home Show Christmas and Spirit of Christmas, both at London Olympia, plus several other events. And I've already penciled in many events for next year. Also, heading back to Vancouver for 8 weeks starting mid January. I actually just renewed my Canadian passport for another 10 years and it took just 14 days via Canada House in London. My UK passport is good till 2027.
I was thinking of you the other day when we got stuck in a traffic jam along a beautiful river bank on our way to an amazing car show at Hampton Court. It made me remember your lovely video of the Kingston market and river walk and ever since then, that area has been on our Must Do list. I'll have to look at the map to see where exactly we got stuck in that traffic jam. It wasn't actually in Kingston but on the western approach to Hampton Court and looked so similar to Kingston, with many boats moored on the river bank. Oh and we parked in Bushy Park, which I well remember you also made a seperate video of. I was almost expecting to bump into you actually!
The previous day to Hampton Court car show we were at another incredible car show at Blenheim Palace and also walked around the village of Woodstock which is literally just outside the back gate of Blenheim. And the day before that at BBC Gardeners World Autumn Fair at Audley End House in Essex. I booked overnight hotel for two nights in-between Blenheim and Hampton Court as this made far more sense than back and forth to Canterbury. Three major large scale events in three days!
Last week we were at the RHS Wisley flower show which was nice, though all the past four events have been done in that heatwave, which was rather tiring. We are now playing catch up with home and gardens, so always keeping very busy.
Anyhow, really looking forward to this video and will comment after. I'm also playing catch up with a "Certain other Walker that's Watched"!
Hope all is well with you and family.
    Ibrahim in Canterbury 🇬🇧🇨🇦

Hey there Ibrahim, lovely to hear from you and it sounds as if you have been so, so busy as always! I know the road you mean, if I'm right, it's the one from the Sunbury roundabout through the small town/village of Hampton that approaches Hampton Court; the traffic is often heavy through there. It probably also flooded during the heavy storms last night! I have a picture in my head that Vancouver must be very cold in January and February? And you're right, Christmas is getting very close now... and 2024! I hope you and your mother enjoy the video, and that she is well now. All the best, Angela

    Hello Angela
Great video. We did a bit of this walk when we where there in May. We walked from Borough market to Tower of London. Love that mosaic of this history of Queenhithe which yo said was founded by ancestor King Alfred the great. We have done some mudlarking before you needed a licence. We had the same weather pattern. We had a hot week in April and not hot summer until last week was our hottest. Thanks for the walk. Take care Chris and Sandra of Canada.

Hello Chris and Sandra, lovely to hear from you:) Are you completely recovered from Covid now? Luke had it last week for the second time, but more as a cold than anything else. Isn't that mosaic lovely? Such a nice surprise to find it there. I'm probably at Borough Market on 14 October to film the Big Cheese Weekender, which if I'm brave I'll attempt as a livestream. I filmed at Chiswick Cheese Market yesterday, which was fabulous, as we are definitely partial to cheese! All the best, Angela

Hello Angela! Thank you for uploading this video of your walk on the Thames Path, I really enjoyed watching it. I love the route you took, but I would definitely have suffered in the heat! I've mentioned previously that I stayed at Sea Containers for a few nights last summer so all the landmarks you referenced are very familiar to me, along with the photos my son posts on social media from an office located near London Bridge too. I think you would enjoy an updated river boat trip BTW. Am I correct in thinking that the ship you could see across the river is in fact the Golden Hind?!, the Cutty Sark being up at Greenwich. Anyway, I hope you're enjoying your walks wherever they take you and look forward to seeing your future videos. Take care 😘 xx

Hey there Deborah, lovely to hear from you, and I remember those pictures so well from when you stayed around that area of London. You're right, I really should do a river trip. And thank you for the correction, you are absolutely right! It's one of those that as I was saying it, I was thinking, 'hmmm, not sure, will check in the edits...' and then forgot! I might put a pinned post to correct it for everyone. It was really hot on that walk, we were desperate for water and air conditioning afterwards, so took a train from Blackfriars back to Waterloo when we would normally have walked. I hope you are well. All the best, Angela

@@ChattyWalkswithAngela Hi Angela, I'm so pleased you took my comment about "the ship" in good part, thank you! Everyone slips up with words and info (I know I do 🙄), especially when distracted by something such as the heat you were experiencing that day. I also believe your videos come across so well that I felt as though I was walking with you and as such, I'd have whispered in your ear "Golden Hind" there and then haha. I hope you had some lovely refreshments at the end of the walk, and good decision to take the train back to Waterloo! I'm planning a visit to London next month as I speak, though I'll be flitting through Central London, heading to West London to stay with my son for a few days, one of which we'll be spending in Oxford to attend a function at the University xx
