That's awesome! Yeah they are nice! I'd say if your current ones are perfectly fine, maybe hold off for a little :) but if you need a new set, cannot go wrong with these bases :)

I’d love to try the tobii eye tracker with star citizen. I’ve seen videos where it seems like a huge advantage to have this. Just ain’t in the budget atm. But eventually! Thanks for the videos! Keep up the good work.
i, weirdly enough, use dual vkb sticks with omni throttle adapters for more of an "alien" feeling
also your sound wall panels look so cool. im jealous
But VKB didn't pay him to recommend their stuff.

Awesome! They were my previous sticks. I liked them but after using the Virpils at an event, I had to reach out 😅 but the VKB’s are fun. Thanks buddy, the panels are from Streamplify (“acoustic panels”).

Cool video. I liked seeing your setup. Solid advice on trying out the cheaper options first to see if sticks are for you. A Tobi is on my list for upgrades to my setup for sure.
I would use it for Star Citizen, Project Zomboid,Division2 maybe 3, and Skull and Bones:yes yes i know, its fun, arrrgh. o7
As someone that has the Tobii 5, it’s nothing more than a gimmick, a nice gimmick, but a gimmick.
To put more weight on the Tobii over sticks blows my mind.
I'd be playing Star Citizen and F1 mostly. Sim games with eye tracking would be a game changer
ive just ordered everything i need for getting in to flight sims like DCS but the eye tracker would make everything complete !!
Currently using SmoothTrack and OpenTrack, buuut a friend did get the Tobi Eyetracker and im hella jealous haha
Gotta surprise him on our next dogfight in Star Citizen.

I got a steam deck recently, although allot of buttons are mapped to my stick its so nice to have a visual display of keys. open cargo doors, no issue. req landing, sorted. keep up the content, you've really stepped up the quality recently, impressive, don't forget to add some more humour, I know digital spaceships is serios business but I like a laugh every now and again :)

@GFAPlays I use to use keyboard and mouse. Then I went and got the stick and throttle. Is was a cheep one it's the
Thrustmaster T.Flight hotas it was only £60. It makes the game feel a lot better. I love to spend more on getting one. But I have hart failure so I just get what I can afford. But I'm happy with them.
Me too with the Mouse and Keyboard. I played with a gamepad briefly too just to see how it felt before moving to sticks. The Thrustmasters are great for that entry level stick. Nothing wrong with that at all buddy, plenty of people play with them too! Sorry to hear about the heart problems and glad to see you still here enjoying life! We’ll hop in the game sometime :)
@GFAPlays that's one thing I can not use. Is the controller. I tried two sticks, but I just got confused, lol. So, I got the throttle, and what a big difference that made it. So, about the eye tracker, is it any good.

I am quite sad, I bought a Tobii eye tracker only to find out it didn't work with my setup at the time. I have seen many videos with people using it and I can't wait to get it again now that my setup has changed.

I'd use a Tobii on star citizen or the division. Saving for Virpils, then new monitor then tobii. What's the quality of the virpil desk mounts like? As was considering monstertech ones. Ps I enjoyed your content thanks

Is there a button mapped on the virpil sticks to reset the Tobiii to center? I imagine the eye tracking would drift off center over time.

You’re jumping to conclusions with no information my friend. I’ve got track IR and I have the VKB Gladiators. Yes I got sent the Virpils for free, but only the Virpils. I bought the rest. I had no stipulations on what I could or could not say. If I thought either of those products were better, I would have said. I stand by what I said regardless of if I got them for free or not. But some people love to complain so crack on.
