Take the back off a guitar is definitely not something I would ever want to attempt. You did a great job. I think I would be paralyzed by worry that I was going to permanently ruin the guitar. Nicely done.
Good job getting the back off. I X braced an H-165 and the back really splintered badly coming off. I had to splice in some new mahogany putting it back together. But in the end it came out great and really does sound wonderful. I have two Martin 15 all mahogany guitars but end up playing the Harmony more.
