1.- as asphyxiation or bone breakage. They should add a tendon breaking mechanic or something that slows down the movement of the prey (some special bite on the ankles, etc.). Naturally reducing their mobility and vision. 4.- I would also like the mechanics of the raptor . Be easier to eliminate . Perhaps brushing surfaces or trees . Or with rapid changes of movement . 5 .- And finally some grooming mechanics would not be bad . In contrast to the added mechanics of the disease . Special leaves or plants, mud to heal wounds faster. Etc ....
I’m so glad there’s finally a comprehensive video about all the current and upcoming dinosaurs and prehistoric creatures for the isle, thanks so much and awesome video!!!
Baryonyx can sharpen their claws with tree’s, or they can just mark their territory with their claws, similar to today’s ring tailed lemurs that they can mark their territory with their glands on their wrists to mark on the Tree’s, it’s like a message to other lemurs like “ THIS IS MY TERRITORY STAY OUT” so yeah something like that
For the “seeing fish from shore mechanic” mentioned I thought it would be cool to reference the planet dinosaur documentaries. They show spinosauridae species (such as spinosaurus, suchomimus, and baryonyx) fishing through a dipping method (thanks to their sensory holes on the snout). The dinosaurs slowly dip their snout up to their nostril in the water (standing very still) so that when a fish passes by they can grab it. Hence, I think the “seeing fish from shore” mechanic will actually be almost like the ptera where you will dip your snout in the water and then have to time the grab to catch a fish.
@@mrbeardmTVMegalania is also a hunched, low to the ground lizard. Austroraptor is a pompous, semi-aquatic crack-heron dromeosaur with a penchant for child abuse and fish consumption
Just because something is big does not mean it can't burrow. Giant ground sloths for example were massive and were great borrowers so austroraptor's size isn't a factor here and there are much better reasons as to why it should not burrow. I really hope, velociraptor burrows in walls or cliffs, like a bee nest, instead of just a hole in the ground, i had wished troodon did this too but it didnt come true

I think the Bary will maybe have an aquatic pounce like ability, kind of a lung but then hangs on/claws/bites while their prey swims. I think the one notable thing we get from Teno is the tail attack mechanics, which I think will come into play/influence in combination with Stego's tail attack for Sauropods. Nice! Great analysis👍 Also hope the isle adds terrestrial galloping crocodiles like quinkana or barinasuchus, also quinkana was living with megalania during the Pleistocene and around the same size or possibly larger. Also barinasuchus was the largest known Apex carnivore during the Cenozoic. Also spinosaurus is going to be cool with its abilities, also the strains as well and new deinosuchus abilies as well. Hope they updated the high walk animations, needs fixing and the tail when swimming. Also sauropods should be interesting
Very fun theories for the roster! It was very entertaining to watch through. However, I do think you were too generous with some of the abilities. Burrowing for many small creatures, crush/pinning/bone break for large creatures, tree shaking for a lot of the herbivores; I feel like a lot of the mechanics won’t be that spread out as it takes away the uniqueness of the ones that have it. And I do think you might’ve missed a few mechanics. But I also thought some of the mechanics you noted were super interesting and stuff that I had not thought about before! Overall I think this was a great video, keep it up!
Thank you! Yeah I know I didn’t got everything right, I just want to provide the community with as much as I can and after all maybe it helps people make their own opinions and theories and stuff! :)
Avaceratops, Allosaurus and Megalaina are Burrow Raiders! They don’t make their own burrows but can either take or destroy existing burrows. Austroraptor is basically Beipi. But…predatory. I don’t think it will burrow at all. Possibly be a good water based raider tho. It’s rumored to get a glide mechanic too. Maybe a cling to rocks ability to get away from Deinosuchus, kinda like a Pteranodon rather than Herrera’s cling ability. Utahraptor is also going to be a heavy weight from what I understand. Picture a sheep dog herding it’s cattle. I bet the Utah will use its weight to its advantage rather than a full blown pounce like Omni. So, a predatory version of Maiasaura. Possibly body slams or pinning down prey. Because if it “pounces” due to its weight, it might straddle up and mount prey to drain their stam so that the prey will exhaust and fall to the ground. Making it easier for Utah to take out their prey. (Keep in mind, “pounce” would only work for animals it’s size or smaller. I can’t imagine Utah jumping that high. Because if an Omni can’t get away from the Utahraptor, then there’d be serious problems. Personally Utah shouldn’t jump at all. Like I said a straddle might be better suited for it.) Spino’s digging mechanic, I believe is actually a Flipping mechanic. You can see it’s used to roll over Ankylosaurus when it’s in the “Hunker” mode. It’s to pry prey out of defensive postures. I also don’t believe Spino can bone break anything. Likely pin smaller prey kind of like preventing struggling fish from escaping its jaws, but other than that. Spino NEEDS to feel different than a Rex, giga and acro. Relying more on water to win its battles rather than being landlocked. I say this, because spino has a lunge ability and possible grapple ability, using the mud on the banks to prevent dinosaurs from slipping out of its weak bite force! Where it can drag unsuspecting prey down into the depths. But… that’s just my two cents on this subject matter. 😊
@@duder7396 It didn't make much since to me either, but I heard it around before. I think the "Glide" essentially was to lessen fall damage. But, I don't know. Maybe it was for something else, but I thought it was Austro.
I want suchomimus to have a charge bite attack and pin/drag (like deino to drown things). Suchomimus means crocodile mimic, so the image of a sucho snapping down like a gator, or dragging things into the water to drown, it just makes sense to me
I had another sauropod on the side that’s probably diplodocus. I didn’t include it cause it wasn’t on the chart I had but hey, if it’s coming that’s gonna be nice :)
hey! its me again if you remember lol. to be honest im most excited for some of the larger but not largestt dinosaurs. like sucho, theri, and such. it'll be cool to see how they play. also for proto you missed the possibility of it drinking saltwater
49:44 I think you are misunderstanding that conceptual art too much, I say that it is not to show Sparring but to show that the Shant can both bite and have kicks that have big radio of atack
Too many ceratopsians and theropods that look really similar imo, I wish they could add more flying dinos, maybe smaller pteras that could clean wounds from bigger dinos giving them a healing buff, and being able to eat without killing or something like that, and more aquatic or semi aquatic creatures so water is a bit more populated
@@mrbeardmTVman I would really love to see smaller flying dinos like dimorphodon or microraptor and the mechanics that they could come up with, you are right about already being enough aquatic creatures
Austroraptor, i have no clue why but i'm most excited for that critter then all the others on the roster. I just hope they'll make fishing alot more difficult, like a minigame or something. Anything to make fishing more difficult because right now it's so easy to get an elite fish or fish from a puddle.
im most excited for a burrow mechanic. i wonder how that will actually work though? i feel like we need new fliers however. and i feel like some fliers should have exceptional
I dunno man basically all the apexes look the same, especially among Rex, Giga and Spino. I would at least remove scavenging and bone breaking to the Spino. And bone breaking to the Giga. Leaving bone breaking to the Rex like it was on legacy. I would add the spino to be able to hold dead corpses with its arms, if small enough. So that he can still bite.
I just want another flyer in the game. We already have enough land dinos, maybe some extra semi/aquatic would be nice, but we only have ptera for aerial and these guys can't do much. Quetz will be amazing add-on, since it will make other dinos respect the sky and interactions between pteras and quetzes will create more dynamic gameplay.
For homalocephale, I dont believe it will have a charge, Neither could it ram trees due to its size, The reason for my doubt is because its size&weight, for pachy it has that weight and size its understandable to assume that it could charge its headbut to unleash devastating fractures but looking at homo its so small compared to even a tenonto, for that i believe its a quick headbut with a long lasting stun, like a flick that deals minimum dmg but stuns the enemy long enough for it to escape, and secondly the ramming trees, you kinda get the point, its weight and size could never,
@@dparvulus Huge as in popular or a large roster? Cuz Evrima is not even close this stuff will probably only be out by 2030 minimum lol. Idk about popularity either tbh but could be worse ig.
@@sugoi9680 Huge as game development. Many ideas, quality, realistic gameplay experience. Yeah, it takes many years to develop a game but the devs did really good so far and it's gonna be even better.
what about climbing as a possibility for the velociraptor? its too small to compete with the herra as the top treehunter, and many scientists think it was infact aboreal.
In regards to swimming, i think you went about it wrong, all dinosaurs can swim in this game, but not all can do it to attack or run from attacks properly, you should only say swimming when a dino can really hold his own in water, like bary, suko, spino, deino and some others will do, for the rest of the dinos swimming is more of a danger than anything else, since they will be easy prey to the other proficient swimmers.
Yes but they are also going to be defenseless...the little dinos that walk underwater will probably be easy targets for the real swimmers, i InVision that everyone will swim on top or walk underwater, but if one of the real good swimmers like the crocs spino suko bary .... attacks one of those dinos they will have a considerable advantage, just like the crocs have now, they can go underwater and surprise attack or just charge directly since they are more agile in water, and the other dinos that are not real good swimmers will probably all lose stam faster...for the bigger dinos that walk in the water like dinocheirus, i dont know if they will be able to dive under but there size will probably make it so that the only aquatic that can really kill it is the spino ( i hope the spino being a real swimmer can dive underwater), maybe what im trying to say is that the real swimmers will dive and be able to stay underwater for some time and attack or escape atacks, making them the real swimmers of the game....
In my opinion, stealing eggs can only be useful if many players make nests, and if there are also AI nests. Anyway, you will hardly be able to find food with this method. Protoceratops has too many abilities in my opinion. Let's say you have to compensate for its size (and maybe its slowness). Burrowing is not that exciting. Of course, it speeds up the game, but it also slows it down quite a bit. The map should probably have a lot of such burrows, where the dinos capable of this can escape. Maybe the game could even show them with q (if they can't do that anyway).
I honestly don't understand the reason for not putting a badge since the game itself doesn't have the appearance of the dinosaurs 100% correct as they lived, you can mainly get spino
@@mrbeardmTV it is a mechanic! Made specifically for Rex to battle other apexs and keep them away or at the distance from itself if I remember correctly
Having a roster this big does not make any sense to me. Most of these animals espacially smaller ceratopsians will probably be mostly abonded by the player base like hypsi and dryo for obvious reasons. And even tho having a variety of dinos is nice and immersive it also probably will make it harder for players to find pack/herd members and cause loneliness. And I am not even talking about humans taking already limited player slots
I feel like smaller dinosaurs will make herds together when there’s going to be more small dinosaurs and I feel like developers will create areas like the sanctuaries where only small dinosaurs will have access to so if you wanna experience those area you’ll have to play something small :)
The word-by-word subtitles are cancer, otherwise great video. :) Edit: Also, the subtitles pop too much, I can hear the video and I want to look at the pictures, not get distracted by the moving, attention seeking text. And they just stop existing after 5 minutes.

im most excited for a burrow mechanic. i wonder how that will actually work though?
i feel like we need new fliers however. and i feel like some fliers should have exceptional
God I want megalania so bad
Me too me too
australlia weird
Good vid. thanks! :)
I’m glad you enjoyed it! :)
Oviraptor will probably also have a feather hitbox, we could model and hitbox already see
Another quality video :)
Thank you brother!
One thing I hope they do is buff the duck. It’s going struggle dealing with Barry, and austro if it doesn’t atleast get a health buff.
Yeah that’s why I put them on possible and not 100% sure :)
OH SHI- that spino idea!!!!! your iq is higher than uh... somthing high!
thx, I know :)

I just want another flyer in the game. We already have enough land dinos, maybe some extra semi/aquatic would be nice, but we only have ptera for aerial and these guys can't do much. Quetz will be amazing add-on, since it will make other dinos respect the sky and interactions between pteras and quetzes will create more dynamic gameplay.
more climbers would be cool too
can't wait for Megalania
Medium tier Dino’s I’m excited: baryonyx and Albertasaurus
maia > carno
Idk how often i heard "its big enough" in this vid xD
Lmao 🥶
Can't wait for maia. I will run up, body slam, moo, and run away 😂
LMAO
For homalocephale, I dont believe it will have a charge, Neither could it ram trees due to its size, The reason for my doubt is because its size&weight, for pachy it has that weight and size its understandable to assume that it could charge its headbut to unleash devastating fractures but looking at homo its so small compared to even a tenonto, for that i believe its a quick headbut with a long lasting stun, like a flick that deals minimum dmg but stuns the enemy long enough for it to escape, and secondly the ramming trees, you kinda get the point, its weight and size could never,
6:56 a previous talked about is now in the game so now is he going to redo this all over again
this game is getting HUGE
Wdym?
@@sugoi9680 yes
@@dparvulus Huge as in popular or a large roster? Cuz Evrima is not even close this stuff will probably only be out by 2030 minimum lol. Idk about popularity either tbh but could be worse ig.
@@sugoi9680 Huge as game development. Many ideas, quality, realistic gameplay experience. Yeah, it takes many years to develop a game but the devs did really good so far and it's gonna be even better.
@@dparvulus Yeah that's the one good thing
Or for the kentrosaurus, they can’t be pounced or pinned, due to said spikes
IQ = alot
will the spinosaurus be redesigned in terms of appearance? will he get changes?
Uhhhh, I have no idea. The only model we have that’s new is in the Hope. Trailer.
what about climbing as a possibility for the velociraptor? its too small to compete with the herra as the top treehunter, and many scientists think it was infact aboreal.
Maybe!
neato!
Are we ever getting the Titanboa?
@@miamibrando3471 probably not. And if we are only as AI probably
I just bought the game. Do I play on the basic server or evrima?
If you want the newest experience then Evrima. If you want the old Legacy then the basic ones.
evrima is better no doubt
In regards to swimming, i think you went about it wrong, all dinosaurs can swim in this game, but not all can do it to attack or run from attacks properly, you should only say swimming when a dino can really hold his own in water, like bary, suko, spino, deino and some others will do, for the rest of the dinos swimming is more of a danger than anything else, since they will be easy prey to the other proficient swimmers.
I added it because while some can swim, others will have to walk underwater because of how heavy they are such as Anky. :)
I think dinosaurs will be able to create their own burrows around the map :)
I honestly don't understand the reason for not putting a badge since the game itself doesn't have the appearance of the dinosaurs 100% correct as they lived, you can mainly get spino
When you say Swim do you mean underwater? Most of these definitely will not unless you mean swim on top of it like everything does now
No just swimming normally :) Some will walk underwater like Anky and some will simply swim
but the big boys like... magy! you said no swin... i think but the ocen? would they just sink? and what about juvis?@@mrbeardmTV
@@primalboy Yes, I mean sink :) I’m thinking more the adult sizes
You forgot about t-rex headbutt!
Oof. I mean for the past few days all I saw in front of me are mechanics lmao so my bad!
@@mrbeardmTV it is a mechanic!
Made specifically for Rex to battle other apexs and keep them away or at the distance from itself if I remember correctly
@@bruhblint6890 Maybe Acro could utilize the same mechanic. I think I’ve seen it do something like that. Thanks for telling me :)
How tf a Ankylosaurus gonna burrow
That's minmi :)
australlia is weird
ACROOOOOOOoOO!!!!!!!!
ACROOOOOOO
best apex.... right next to carcar
no debate simple as that

@@primalboy true but you can’t just pass up tyrannotitan like that cmon, also good to keep giga around

I know I just call them dinosaurs cause it’s easier 😅

The word-by-word subtitles are cancer, otherwise great video. :)
Edit: Also, the subtitles pop too much, I can hear the video and I want to look at the pictures, not get distracted by the moving, attention seeking text. And they just stop existing after 5 minutes.
Thank you for the feedback! I will remember to not make them pop so much :)
