There is that mutation that makes it so you can’t die from bleed if you’re resting. Gonna be a LOT more useful when these guys drop.

I’m rlly intrigued to see how they’re gonna balance Giga. The carni apexes have very obvious combat styles, Spino has massive hp and big arms to control u, rex does ridiculous damage and can stun u, Giga does massive bleed and keeps a distance. Problem is that a rex for example would be happy to fight a Giga, since it’ll break yo bones so u can’t back off as a Giga wants to. Maybe it’ll be a rock-paper-scissors kinda thing and matchups will be rlly important but who knows. I’m excited to play all 3 in 57 yrs

Giganotosaurus is definitely a well rounded carnivore, it can strike decisively to end a fight quickly with most other playables, and can engage in a prolonged stand off with larger prey items.

Thats valid , id love that... But that was the case in Legacy. Theres no way our Giga will have anything similar with the old one in Legacy.. I mean look what they did to our poor Dilo :/ So maybe be ready for big changes.. and unfortunatelly not very positive ones.. same goes for our boy Rexy.. I guess - talking about Apexes - we'll see how much they will butcher our Rexy boy in Evrima... and the same way in the future they will butcher our Giga boy too and Spino too

It would be nice if the devs made Giga able to compete against the Rex. In legacy Rex was untouchable. I could easily solo 2 spinos or 4 gigas. I've solod full grown trikes without taking a single hit, even with the trike broken hitbox. Giga tactic of biting and keeping pressure up so Rex can't sit and bleed out does not work. Rex is capable of healing the bleed just by staying crouched and not moving. I've done it many times. Just keep your nose pointed at the giga while staying crouched. This also works against the speedy Acro. Hopefully the devs are good enough at combat to notice these things like I did.

I almost bought it a few months back but chose not to because I noticed the dev team basically gave up on it and nothing good was ever to come again, these were words by UA-camrs who were trying to make a living playing this game

this will def depend on the player but if the giga player is more experienced than the rex i would say giga wins.

I mean fair but it'll also be pretty scary when a Rex comes along and gives you a skull fracture and suddenly you can't see sh1t and your headbutt does half as much damage as it's supposed to, then bites your leg (probably more than once to fracture a shant but still) and now you are also slow as hell and then it'll keep breaking you until you drop dead, if there are two Rexes they can probably pin just you down. So in conclusion, if you come across a good Rex or Giga player you are f*cked either way.

Oh hey, I used to "work" for that server like a year ago, and did so for...3-5 months I think? I actually recognize some of the names in chat LMAO. Amazing how they play. I got fired for inactivity, essentially. Got burnt out, has poor mental health, and was bogged down by my old job. I stayed in communication, was put in a role that allowed some freedom with time, but was let go the DAY I started getting back into the game and doing Tickets. That community had some genuine, lovely people...but that was not the majority. Not to mention their staff retention rate was...pretty telling. A lot of people quit because they were tired of shit going on behind the scenes, were overworked, or were fired for relatively bullshit (admittedly) reasons. Not to mention the half of the Heads of each role were a toss up on whether they were a cool person or someone entirely grating. Admittedly though, I had a lot of fun with the friends I made there, so it wasnt all doom and gloom. Sometimes a shitty game can be tolerable and worth wile with the right people, and under the right circumstances. 10/10 sould refund this game and the DLC now if I could, though.

Love the update! My only issue is the randomized spawning. If we were still on spiro I would have no problem with random spawn but I haven’t gateway has just been so hard to memorize. Hopefully I will figure it out!
