This video is not a Black Sabbath Video. It is a German short film called "Mother Land." A UA-cam channel (Gabrielle Marie) meshed them together. All her videos are mashups and she hasn't made a video in 9 years. 🤙🏼
GREAT song choice. This was Ozzy at his best and the birth of "heavy metal". Tony Iommi introduced the music world to distortion!!!! The video is something someone created later....the goal was to SHOW anti-war. This came out during the Vietnam war.
Yeah you love drumming so you get to see Bill Ward just attack his drums with the fat end of his sticks. I must say Mia you have an incredibly pretty face and in this video I got to see how slim and fit you are. Hearing that you're a single lady makes me wish that I was still a young man. 🥰
You can see the whole band go absolutely ape in Paris Live 1970. You'd be hard pressed to find a more stellar live performance. Bill hits his drums like they owe him money. Ozzy is so animated with his headbanging.
Yesss!!! I love Ozzy!!! Hes my rock n roll idol!!! His voice is so recognizable & he is a true Rock God Black Sabbath is where he got his start but his solo career is where he truly made his name legendary. Marilyn Manson & Rob Zombie are also two legends who are definitely worth a listen ❤. Loving the daily uploads Mia keep it up ❤
from the black sabbath youtube page... BLACK SABBATH - "War Pigs" (Live Video) Black Sabbath performing "War Pigs" live at the Olympia Theater in Paris, France on December 20, 1970
Black Sabbath are the god fathers of Heavy Metal formed in Birminghham in the UK in 1969 First album released 1970 You should react to them playing this song live in Paris 1970 Mia!
This is a fan made video. I hate people reacting to the video. It really doesnt have much to do with the song IMHO. I usually just turn the video off when I see someone reacting to it instead of the song which is awesome.
Sabbath is Everything! They made the format. The breadth of the first 5 albums alone is phenomenal. Everything in heavy metal starts with them. Actually you should watch the Live version of this from Paris. The energy is off the charts. This video is well made but not theirs. Their catalog is amazing and they have been fronted by 3 of the most celebrated singers in heavy rock, Ozzy Osbourne, Ronnie James Dio and Ian Gillian. You might also want to react to Paranoid(live) and Hand Of Doom to start the Sabbath journey.
Its a War protest song. This came out around the around the Vietnam conflict. The words are amazing. This came out in 1970. Its was revolutionary revolutionary
Haha Love your honesty! Sabbath have more than one style/sound (their biggest hit Paranoid is much more upbeat and groovier...and short like most pop radio songs), so maybe give them a chance later, after you've heard more rock bands from the era...check out The Rolling Stones or The Beatles.
They are generally considered the original “ heavy metal “ band . In its day ( early 70’s) was called Friday night scare music . This is where Ozzy got his start .
To this day the groundwork of modern metal is built upon Sabbath and subsequently the many different styles and artists they were influenced by. Sabbath and Ozzy are time-tested and no true metal education is ever complete without Black Sabbath. I'll throw you a curve ball, try out Black Sabbath - Changes. To get back in their groove, try N.I.B, Paranoid, or Iron Man. Also yes this video does NOT hold upp for the main reason everyone already mentioned
You're a rather cultured individual. Good on you for giving one of the pioneers of heavy metal a listen, next up, listen to 'Iron Man' or 'Paranoid'. There's so much ground to cover! Onwards!
Paranoid and this song are probably on par with each other. Both rock. Paranoid is shorter tho. instant black sabbath classics. The lead singer Ozzy Osborne went solo and had his own band just called OZZY. They had great hits. You gotta remember that most artists back then only had One Hit Wonders. Some bands like Black Sabbath Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Doors and The Rolling Stones did very well for themselves and had multiple albums with multiple hits. These guys are usually considered the bigger more known bands. During that time they were pretty much the starting force behind the next mainstream craze. ROCK N ROLL. From the late 50s to 1979. Then heavy metal in 1976 was starting and went into the 80s and beyond. Before rock was Oldies, which Oldies is pretty awesome too. But Blues music is what you should look into I think. It's probably a good start. Not THE start. But a start into music. Its what most music came from. Cuz in the eighties, they started doing away with instruments and started making music with electronics. Remember. I'm only 30. This stuff was considered old to me but my dad loved it. Its why its considered Dad music or Dad rock. Its really really incredible if you get pointed towards to right ones. And the music really let's you travel back in time. Glad I got here early to See you on this journey. Happy to help too. Movie suggestion. The Princess Bride. I call it a girly romance classic . My sisters watched it too many times. It came out in the 80s. Before I was born.
Another killer track from Sabbath is N.I.B also you should check out some of ozzy's solo material. A good place to start would be Mr. Crowley. Great reaction.
One of my favorite singers is a gangsta rapper/R&B singer whose stage name is TQ. He's borderline underground, but he's also had hit records. He did a cover of Hotel California. I want to see your reaction to Hotel California by TQ.
Great song!! Song is about the corruption of the Elite & is actually very deep,Especially with everything going on now days,Try”Fool in the rain”-Led Zeppelin you will like (Island Vibes),Thanx4content 💯
A movie suggestion. "Almost Famous" it shows rock n roll culture in 1970 from a teenagers perspective. In the movie they go to a black sabbath concert. It would really speed up your understanding of rock n roll culture. It came out in 2000.Tbh honest starting with black sabbath could be hard. Cuz black sabbath is more about simplicity, dark tones and harder rock. And it relies a lot on Ozzies unique voice. You have to build up to that and Janice Joplin or ACDC. Music suggestion. American Pie by Don McLean and A Boy Named Sue By Johnny Cash are fun ones to show what you can do. They're mostly just guitar. Country and blues go together like PB&J. My Story By Benefit is a great rap song that tells a really good story to beautiful music and a simple beat.
MIA! I've been loving your reactions but this.. lol You're right. The video isn't hot. They have heavier songs. But, the CONTEXT.. People watch Reaction content for insight on sound and lyrics. I just saw you call out 2Pac for saying he gets around. Here's a song that detail how the rich manipulate the poor into wars and nothing. 😂😭
No hate on you. Black Sabbath was a band I didn't like either growing up. Everyone loved them but I was more into Punk and New Wave. But as I listened to bands that were influenced by Black Sabbath and went back and really listened to them I started to like them more. So maybe after you listen to more Rock and Metal bands who are Sabbath fans and go back you might like them more, maybe not they are not for everyone.😉
You could see how visibly shaken you were by this video. Actually shaking at times. Try paranoid by black sabbath. Kudos to you for sitting through it to the end.
Thank u for being honest... most reactors fake it. This track was from 1970 - the music video was unrelated to the track; it was done recently... Fans today might find the sound 'dated'... but it takes a while to hear the brilliance of Black Sabbath. They were the band in the 70's that put down the foundation of what became the 'heavy metal' and 'hard rock' genre, alongside Led Zeppelin... and Deep Purple... the 3 British bands often called the 'Unholy Trinity'... the original Black Sabbath from 1969 to 1979 was: Ozzy Osbourne (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar), Geezer Butler (bass) and Bill Ward (drums)... The band carried on after 1980 w/ various musicians and singers w/ guitarist Tony Iommi being the sole original member, until the original band reunited in 1997. Legendary singer Ronnie James Dio was in Black Sabbath for a few years... so was singer Ian Gillan of Deep Purple. Ozzy Osbourne went solo in 1980 and went on to have an extraordinary career without Black Sabbath. Every heavy metal band in the 80's and beyond have taken a riff or an idea from Black Sabbath's catalog of music... Their slow delivery added a 'heavy' weight to their music ... and they sang about the dark side of life that had never been done before them - war, addiction, the occult, madness, nuclear war, etc. No band has gone 'heavier' than the original Black Sabbath. Black Sabbath does have faster songs like - 'Paranoid' ... 'After forever' ... 'Children of the grave'... 'N.I.B.' ... but their signature songs are like 'War pigs'... and similar slow & heavy songs like - 'Iron Man' ... 'Black Sabbath' ... 'Fairies wear boots'... 'Sweet leaf'... 'Sabbath bloody Sabbath'... etc. Nobody expected Black Sabbath to be a success when they debuted in 1970 but their dark, morose and heavy rock sound instantly found an audience in Europe and N. America... In 1970, their 2nd album 'Paranoid' charted at #1 in the UK and has sold 4x platinum in the US. Black Sabbath was controversial for their dark imagery and religious groups condemned the band and their music... Still, their fanbase was huge and they had platinum success again w/ the albums 'Master of Reality' in 1971... 'Volume 4' in 1972... and 'Sabbath bloody Sabbath' in 1973... Unfortunately, the bad was plagued w/ contractual disputes and financial problems in 1974... They returned in 1975 w/ their angriest album 'Sabotage'. Singer Ozzy Osbourne was not happy w/ the musical direction of the album 'Tecnical ecstasy' in 1976 or the 'Never say die!' album in 1978... Ozzy's drug and alcohol addictions eventually led to the singer being fired in 1979. Black Sabbath returned in 1980 w/ singer Ronnie James Dio and released 2 stellar albums 'Heaven and hell' (1980) and 'Mob rules' (1981)... before the line-up changed again... They would carry on making music as Black Sabbath without original members. Ozzy Osbourne launched his solo career in 1980 releasing 2 albums "Blizzard of Ozz' and 'Diary of a madman' by 1981 and his records sold millions w/ a fresh, energetic sound that was completely different from Black Sabbath.
Don't worry, not a Black Sabbath fan myself..try Thunderstruck by AC/DC...Slow and Easy by Whitesnake...Uncle Tom's Cabin by Warrant...you might like one of those.
Black Sabbath is one of three bands known as the "Unholy Trinity;" the other two bands are Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple. If you're going in this direction, try some of the other two bands' work. Deep Purple: "Smoke on the Water," "Burn;" "Space Trucking;" or "Lazy" for starters. Led Zeppelin: "Stairway to Heaven;" "Rock and Roll;" "Since I've Been Lovin' You;" "Immigrant Song;" "Dazed and Confused." There are many more than those. Of the three, I confess to not being a Black Sabbath fan.
Even though I’m a big black Sabbath fan, I have to say that I would not have recommended this particular song to someone who’s new to the rock genre. I think possibly somewhere down the road you might actually appreciate some of their music. But I think as more of an introduction, you should probably be more in the lane of Rock you like a hurricane by the Scorpions Or even the song, Tom Sawyer by Rush. That’s just where I would go if I was introducing this to a young lady. So I actually respect your rating based on your background.
MIA, I agree the video is not the best and slightly disturbing to say the least!! I strongly urge you to listen to this song WITHOUT a video and LISTEN to the lyrics!!❤ This song came out during the height of the Vietnam War!! Tensions were high in the United States from anti-war demonstrations and protests!! College campuses with going crazy!! I'm not sure who made this video or if it's actually associated with Black Sabbath the band in any way but they could have done better!!😢
Can you react to Electric Callboy? Hurrikan is a really good start that gets you to see what they're all about. I think that's the first song anyone should hear by them. But some other good ones are We Got The Moves, Pump It, Tekkno Train, and Hypa Hypa.
I know alot of Black Sabbath songs that you might like more than this one (my personal favorite) Black Sabbath - Hand of doom, Black Sabbath - paranoid, Black Sabbath - iron man , Black Sabbath - National Acrobat if you want so more songs from them just let me know
Mia, for a change why don’t you react to Rammstein live in Paris, playing Du Hast. It will be not only a musical treat but most definitely a visual treat. They make them tone it down for any performances in the States. Take the red pill, go down the rabbit hole, you won’t regret it 😱
Planet Caravan is a good one, sweet leaf, nib, and supernaut are cool but there was a time black Sabbath had a different singer after Ozzy, and id recommend Heaven and Hell.
You know the video has nothing to do with the song, right? The whole idea of the song is to get into the music and visualize what it's talking about, but some fan decided to put the music to this video and screwed it all up if you ask me. Maybe you could listen to it again without the video and enjoy it better.
I've been a devoted fan of Black Sabbath since I discovered them as a young teenager in the 80s. War Pigs is one of my favorite songs of theirs but I'm not offended that you didn't like it and I tell you that you don't need to apologize for not liking it. Black Sabbath was one of the pioneers of metal, the members of Metallica idolized them as did millions of musicians and fans. They shaped metal to what it is and there is likely something from them that will resonate with you. You like what you like, it's subjective. In your defense, the video was weird, I would have had you react to the lyric video so you could just hear the music with the lyrics. It was a war protest song from the 70s about Vietnam.

I get it. You should check out some songs by Ozzy Osbourne. Crazy Train, Let Me Hear You Scream, I Don't Wanna Stop, etc. He's the guy that was singing this song. But he's a LOT better when it's just him!
"Paranoid" is a much more suitable song for a first-time listener of Black Sabbath. "War Pigs" is riff-wankery for longtime fans and stoners lol. (Also, bear in mind this song is *50* years old).
This video is not a Black Sabbath Video. It is a German short film called "Mother Land." A UA-cam channel (Gabrielle Marie) meshed them together. All her videos are mashups and she hasn't made a video in 9 years. 🤙🏼
You need to react war pigs live paris 1970

BS are ROCK GODS... Ozzy's first band back in the day.
I'm super hyped for your channel. War pigs is a straight classic. Pure Metal.
I wish people would stop recommending this video for the song.
its about war , its gonna be uncomfortable
@@THEGUMP- nothing to do with that, the video is just dumb. its some fan made video that just distracts reactors from the song.
😂
GREAT song choice. This was Ozzy at his best and the birth of "heavy metal". Tony Iommi introduced the music world to distortion!!!! The video is something someone created later....the goal was to SHOW anti-war. This came out during the Vietnam war.
Gotta Love Ozzy. Went to an Ozzy concert a couple of years ago and he still performs this song!!!
You would love the Live version of this in Paris 1970. OMG , you would be taken back.
Yeah you love drumming so you get to see Bill Ward just attack his drums with the fat end of his sticks. I must say Mia you have an incredibly pretty face and in this video I got to see how slim and fit you are. Hearing that you're a single lady makes me wish that I was still a young man. 🥰

I agree it has nothing to do with the song, someone should do a better one
Boo hoo. It does have to do with the song idiot. Go cry to mommy
Ozzy has such a unique voice. This song is even more relevant today. Great reaction, Mia!!! ❤❤❤🙏🙏🔥
Black Sabbath Vol 4 album. A lot of awesome songs and mia. You won't be disappointed with guitar work😊

Binging you...Thanks Mia. You're choosing great songs.
important song back then, an important song now. Black Sabbath was telling no lies in this song.
Girl This Is the jam. 🔥
Great reaction Mia. I'm from Minnesota. You know the rest.
This is the old school music i grew up with as my dad listened to it constantly 😅
They are generally considered the original “ heavy metal “ band . In its day ( early 70’s) was called Friday night scare music . This is where Ozzy got his start .
The video has nothing to do with the lyrics. Please react their live performance from the year of album release.
You got your guy right here babe I can’t wait to listen to music together with you ❤
you try all the classics - and you are classy, so thx for the video❤
Love the daily uploads keep it up✌️
BLACK SABBATH - "Paranoid" (Official Video)
This is a great song, very old school
You're a rather cultured individual. Good on you for giving one of the pioneers of heavy metal a listen, next up, listen to 'Iron Man' or 'Paranoid'. There's so much ground to cover! Onwards!
Still relevant to this day. Enjoyed!

Paranoid is a dime a dozen pop rock song...
You should watch the video of Black Sabbath playing this live. You should be all over this song since you say you love the drums.
Ozzy’s the singer for this band, tony iomi on guitar & geezer on drums my dad practically raised me on their music , them & creed
Appreciate your reactions. Thank you.
Great song!
I appreciate your honesty .
Black Sabbath was the band who practically gave birth to the whole ganre of "Metal".
You think that song's a trip I suggest "Fairies wear boots" also a Black Sabbath tune. YW 🤘😁
Snowblind is a banger, but they have sooo many great songs! ✌️❤️🎸
Also Black Sabbath also did Ironman which was used for the first Iron Man movie (2008) so maybe that’s why maybe the band sounds familiar
Black Sabbath put out a lot of good music, here is some others, Into the void, Fairies wear boots, A national acrobat, The wizard.
A movie suggestion. "Almost Famous" it shows rock n roll culture in 1970 from a teenagers perspective. In the movie they go to a black sabbath concert. Don’t get distracted by it, the words are the most important part of this song..

Need more Sabbath a great song to get into is electric funeral
Black Sabbath 1968-eternity🤘
Hey you should check Motley Crue : Kickstart My Heart , for some fun rock
Also try Paranoid from Black Sabbath i think thats more of your tempo.
Not a song I would play, but if I heard it playing, I would listen.
Not to mention Black Sabbath has a ton of really good songs
One of the best songs but you should hear the song Black Sabbath erie
I know alot of Black Sabbath songs that you might like more than this one (my personal favorite) Black Sabbath - Hand of doom, Black Sabbath - paranoid, Black Sabbath - iron man , Black Sabbath - National Acrobat if you want so more songs from them just let me know
N.I.B. & Sweet Leaf are my other 2 favorites
Nije Black Sabbath za svakoga...Hvala Bogu...
Oh, Mia! Too beautiful for tv. This is an old metal that is basically anti-war. You're so serious about hearing this, lol
Mia, for a change why don’t you react to Rammstein live in Paris, playing Du Hast. It will be not only a musical treat but most definitely a visual treat. They make them tone it down for any performances in the States. Take the red pill, go down the rabbit hole, you won’t regret it 😱
I pretty sure w/o that video you’d love ❤️ Black Sabbath & you’re reactions are so perfect 🤩 bye 👋🏼 beautiful 😍
"When I get a boyfriend" WHAT!!
Well that's something we'll have to remedy..
Here sending you some flowers, they were free🌹🌺🌻🌼🌷❤
The song was recorded in 1970, there was nothing like it around at the time. Try Symptom of the universe from 1975, that't faster.
Great ❤❤❤
This song and their other song Iron-Man were used in the very first Iron-Man movie kicking off the MCU we know today 😅
The song is 54 years old. There was no video. This is just something someone stuck on, rather than a lyric video which would have been easier.

You should do the live version since you like to see the band members it’s fantastic. Ozzie Osborne from the Osbornes is the singer.
Check out White Zombie “Thunder kiss ‘65” if you like heavy metal you may enjoy that.
