Yes, it has a very profound effect on you. I heard it for the first time in 1996 when I was in the Navy and stationed in Virginia. I bought the album once I found out the name of the band.
@@alexandermakrianis Hi ⚓! My grandson is finishing A school in Groton, CT now then heading to VA at the end of this month (March 2024) Submarine. Thank you for your service! 🇱🇷❤
I came to this video after watching the original video. I haven't heard this song in over a decade. Wild, because I have this CD. This is a great take. Guitar work is just damn good. Just, damn.
Heard them at 5 Points South Music Hall in Birmingham AL in 1995. The FJB was part of my college experience. Miss those days and the music that helped shape my memories. Dang I feel old 🥲
Took me forever to learn it, but a top 5 favorite song to play. Especially getting the delay setting right. Truly one of the best solo you will ever hear.
Bad ass song I can never get this tune out of my head. I listen to this when things are really going good for me. Which I play in my head alot wow too cool.
Record companies provide all the promotion. They probably didn't have the type of label support that makes shitty songs "popular" on the radio. Independents or small-time labels just can't swing it. Great band and righteously strong song. Helluva hook.
Can someone tell me who’s playing the lead on this one? He’s great, and if he performs with others groups or writes his own stuff, I’d love to give him a listen. Thanks.
Without Simon Horrocks' drumming, this song will never be the same, live. It was such a powerful, integral part of the original recording, and this guy is like a soggy rag in comparison.
One of myf fav bands from 90s - Had all their albums. Saw them many times in Rochester, NY! Met them here. Got Simon's drum stick. Never liked him though. I am a drummer, appreciate his playing, but he was a complete dick. Marty was awesome. Powerful voice. Miss these guys.
I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it! ❤
It's one of those songs that when you hear it for the 1st time, you're like "Holy Shit Wow"! Still get the same feelings 24 years later!
Absolutely. happened again today...

I just heard it 10 minutes ago. Same

I love this song and I love The Freddy Jones Band
Love this song. Just found this band 6 months ago. Can’t wait for them to visit Pittsburgh
Thank you. This song probably saved my life.... quite some time ago. I "didn't go away."
I will never tire of this song.
Same here
Needs more cowbell
Me either. It's like happy day in the sunshine vibe :)
Ditto. Love the delay
Same. Went to see the band when this came out. Almost got in a fight. Good times. 👊

Those guitar soloes are magnificent.
Great song. Why was this not a huge hit?

It was in St. Louis.

Lol! I don’t remember what I was commenting on it was so long ago.
My good friend put this song on a mix tape for me of songs we should do in our band in probably 1997.. still love this song. Still makes me smile.
LOve this song..never tire of it
Dude! I am this song. Thank you my friend. let's sing it!
Absolutely love this!!
This track inspires and makes for joyful walk in the city and my trusty ear buds.
SOUNDS EVEN BETTER LIVE!!😎
Guy is smooth on that guitar. I was expecting a live version of this song to not be able to stand against the studio sound. They did not disappoint.
Brings back memories of college days at St Mary’s in Winona. Love it
Was intro'ed to them off G105fm outta Raleigh NC that summer, saw them in 94 in Winston.....such an underrated band. 😎😎
I love this song!
one of true favorites

Me likey ! Good stuff. Good guitar and drum work

Freddy Jones band got some good songs.
Great song!
Ultimate road trip song!!
Driving to Atlanta from Destin Floida. First time I heard this band, bought the CD when I arrived home.
In a Daydream
Song by Freddy Jones Band
Tuesday morning,
Never looked so good.
I'm already in,
In a daydream.
The sun is shining,
To wake me up.
No one around,
Just me and the sky.
I'm already in,
In a daydream.
I'm already in,
In a daydream.
The sky is calling,
Calling out my name.
Telling me just to stay,
Stay and don't go away.
I'm already in,
In a daydream.
I'm already in,
In a daydream.
In a daydream...
In a daydream...
In a daydream...
Already in a daydream...

Great song
Wow! Just found this version - I'm slow, but fruitful. Great job! See you at Soiled Dove Denver '22!!!
Great driving tune! Roll down the windows and soak in the good feelings...
The PRS was made for smooth licks like this, just nailed it.
Awesome
Not sure how they can go on with FJB without Wayne in the lineup.....His guitar playing ( especially his use of delay) is what makes the sound.
I miss the slide player, if that was him...
Shhh, here's a secret. Everyone uses delay to one degree or another...
You do know the entire lead is delayed. He's only playing half the notes you're hearing.
What's a delay?
@@martyconroy3786 No, he isn't the slide player. Wayne was guitar and vocals.
Great guitarist!
Qué música ! Nivel Dios !
The drummer's quite good.
no drummers dad he is not
Only song I know with 2 kick ass guitar solos
Get ready Ruby Tuesday he, put a blame on you,!
Great Song, i hear a bass guitar and i dont see it in the bass player?? where it is?
And can anybody find the bass player?
Nope wondering if somebody is using a foot pedal
Where is their slide player?
Can someone tell me who’s playing the lead on this one? He’s great, and if he performs with others groups or writes his own stuff, I’d love to give him a listen. Thanks.

Which one's Freddy? The one in the hat right? j k ; )
There is no Freddy Jones
Somebody's about to get their ass kicked by Freddy Jones!

paramount to layla
It's one of those songs that shouldn't be played live.
Você gosta das músicas do U2, ok! Você gosta das músicas do Joe Satraini, ok! Mas essa música é tudo e mais um pouco! Wow
Where's the bass player? Not important enough to show?
Rubbish. Rob and Jim started the band and wrote the song.
Great song!
