"With exclusive access to Jaguar, classic car fanatic Mark Evans follows the creation of what is arguably the world’s most exclusive car.
Inside jaguar's factory, craftsmen are building a car fit for a billionaire and the most expensive the company has ever made. Evans witnesses the extraordinary lengths to which they’re going to manufacture a vehicle with a price tag of more than £1 million.
Known as the Lightweight, it is an exact recreation of the racing version of the iconic Jaguar E-Type and six super-rich individuals have been specially chosen to own one.
Only 12 Lightweights were ever made, back in 1963, one of which recently sold for an estimated £5 million. But 18 were originally planned and now the remaining six are being recreated by Jaguar from scratch.
But in the traditional world of classic cars, not everyone welcomes change. And as he goes in search of the secret buyers, Mark discovers this modern ‘classic’ car has divided opinion.
With access to both owners and dealers of Lightweights, this film explores the love of classic cars and what drives men to shell out millions for them.
Back at Jaguar, as the Lightweight project gets closer to the deadline and the first delivery, the pressure starts to tell. Can Jaguar create automotive perfection, please their billionaire clients and silence the critics?"
Love the car !
I have a 2007, Jaguar XK Convertible 1 of 97 , Winter Gold, 45,000 miles on the clock. I use a Tooth Brush on it , every spot is clean, and I drive it, and show it in Car Shows. Spent four years looking for one, ... Never been in the rain, A smile on my face from ear to ear. I enjoy just looking at it. And the drive, the sound, the feel as it moves down the road....Nothing like a Jaguar ! The Dream is here. " Moves Like a Jaguar "
Thank You, Jaguar for building a Sports Car / GT that fits me, 6'3" 235 lbs.
Lord March, ‘no replicas’, although they are new, they are not a replica, made by jaguar themselves, every single last part is correct. A replica is a copy, a kit, these, are new, yes, but original, made my jaguar, for jaguar, to the exact same specifications. The passion for these cars.............incredible!!!!!!! Very very impressive
They are new, but just as genuine as the ones that was buildt 50-60 years ago. Only delayed - and way better.
When the E type was originally created it was at least half the price of an equivilant Ferrari or Aston Martin. How times have changed.
Wonderful to watch real craftsmen and share their relentless enthusiasm for perfection.
The Jaguar XKE as far as I'm concerned was the pinnacle of automobiles in my lifetime. It may not even be the most desirable for the average guy, and new cars of today should probably not try to emulate it, but it is perched higher than all others due to its style and also design. Time marches on, and it wouldn't make sense to compare the XKE to a Tesla for instance, or to any modern car. It's fitting a precision timepiece is given with the car. To knock the XKE off its perch, you would have to go back to that time and out-class it at its own point in history. It was perfect in its time; by definition there can't be many that hold that spot.
Epic build, congratulations to ALL the highly skilled engineers and all those involved in this project, makes me very proud to be British. 👌👌👌👌
Incredible passion and love for Jaguars by these guys. What I love about Jag is their willingness to take risks and be different.
I thought the "guys" were very lady like. It was a bit disturbing.
Imagine a "Special Operations Team". I would assume the effort happened during a perfect time period for such an endeavour.
i know im asking randomly but does any of you know a way to get back into an Instagram account..?
I was stupid forgot my login password. I love any help you can offer me
@Bjorn Wilder instablaster :)
I was down at Connaught Race Engines in the late 90's having Tim Swadkin dyno one of my engines and there was a lightweight E type in the workshop at the time, there was also a chipped up Cossy and the owner of the Jag and the Cossie were having a 'discussion' about which of the cars was faster, it eventually came to a test on the road and apparently the Jag wiped the floor with the Ford, happy days then! 'Sausage' HT Racing Ltd
What a magnificent build! I don't give a hoot what the "purists" say, that automobile is not a replica. In America, we like to personalize our vehicles and that is exactly what I've done to my '72 E Type. Most people like what I've done, but some "purists" don't. Those are the people that think that personalizing means that you put your initials on the licence plate but couldn't turn a screw into a piece of cardboard if their lives depended upon it. I say Bravo on your build and can only add, I wish that I had a spare million pounds to buy the next one you create. I would never turn my nose up at that.
Beautiful beautiful car. I'm moved and pleased that Jag can find the talent to even do this in these times that have so devalued skill, and where the understanding of skill and commitment to quality FIRST is so lacking.
Beautiful car, wonderful project. Far as I'm concerned, these are REAL lightweight E-Types that just don't have any history yet, not "replicas".
I hope they use modern glues in between the sheeting where they use rivets as all rivets under constant stress loosen over time , even a standard glue sika flex will bond that car forever .
The entire endeavour occurring must be typically British. Jaguar-Land Rover and owner Tata is to be commended for allowing these kind of activities to take place. Having access to tools and blueprints of the past and find craftsmen of today for every step who can masterfully carry out the creation. It enriches company culture.
they are not replicas, they are brand new light weights built on original chassis numbers.
Wow! Those Lightweights are really beautiful. I know die hard Jaguar fans are gonna through rotten bananas on me, but I had never considered an E-type as a beautiful car. XJ13 - yes, amazingly beautiful, but not a standard E-type of any series. But the Lightweight is quite amazing! The rear quarters are so dramatically shaped! Quite a remarkable design achievement!
Mark Evans is so worried about getting these new cars showed off at Goodwood, while this seems to be something personal (for the new owners). They buy cars for their liking. Yeah, these cars have no history, but they are new, so the chassis rigidity is a lot higher, they will handle like they did in the 60s, you can never experience that in an old car, when panels start to walk around after stress and age.
)))))))
Yeah and another performance advantage these new lightweights have is the fact that the metallurgy of aluminum has gotten significantly more advanced over the past 60yrs, meaning a stiffer structure, lighter weight and a stronger engine block casting, because of this i agree that it won't be fair to allow these lightweight remake's to compete with the original's as
they would be out-performed on track. Another thing to consider is how these new cars are going to affect the value's of the original's, either car collectors who wan't a lightweight will hold off untill a original comes on the auction block or they may be ok with paying less for a new lightweight when one goes up for sale and that could cause the value of the originals to
not increase as steadily or even lose some value as a result
The originals didn’t have any history when they were new.
Nice to see Bremont supplying the special edition watches too. Great vid!
Thanks, Nev! Gimme a jingle, sometime!
How was it allowed for one of the new owner's to arrive at the Jaguar build site in a Mercedes station wagon 25:14 ? Wouldn't you want to ensure that the car service or driver who transported him to the location did so in a Jaguar? You know...for that full indulgent experience?
34:14 "I'm getting really excited... It's always better givin, rather than receiving."
🤣
Truth.
Well I'm impressed, an absolutely beautiful car built to amazing standards by fanatical people who love what they do and take the whole thing deadly serious. What does it matter what it costs, I know which I'd rather have, one of these cars or a bigger bank ballance, no contest at all and the lucky owners obviously agree. Who cares what anyone else thinks and anyone calling it a replica is missing the point in my opinion, they don't understand what has been done or why. I was a little disappointed about the comments, "what if they don't like it or don't think it's worth the money", I thought that was silly. All the owners were hand picked as the very lucky few who are allowed to buy one because they share in the passion for these cars, they aren't buying it to make money, it's about being part of the undertaking and having such an amazing and exclusive car and all that entails. These cars may not have the same history as the earlier ones but you can't say they don't have history, they obviously do. A real pleasure to watch what went into this project and a great move by Jaguar. Thanks for putting the video out there for me to enjoy.
The earlier ones didn’t have a history either. They were brand spankin new untill they were started up and used in anger.
I am curious as to what they used for a motor. Is it a re-created 60's era motor or a modern one?
re-created 60's era motor Dave. Mostly supplied by these people - crosthwaiteandgardiner.com/parts/jaguar/jaguar-lwe-engine-wide-angle-carburettors-ally-block-wet-sump
Works of art! 😃
Nice one, look forward to future content.
Ever sinced playing the Parker Brothers game Dealer's Choice back in the 70s, the Jaguar E type has been my favourite car.
One thing's for sure, they are genuine e-types.
“I have 33 or 35 cars. I’m not sure of the exact number.”
I’m loving it!
and cant even get his hair cut,
Played by Danny Devito in the new movie!
Maybe this is also a training ground for upcoming car product designers to want to tune into a mode of pleasing / delighting a customer.
I hate this fake drama the presenter was trying to create about the first buyer coming in to inspect ... "if he doesn't like it one of these guys is going to lose their job", come on, as if a customer is going to come in a second guess the manufacturer's engineers. I was really annoyed that the presenter even put that thought into the poor Jaguar guys heads!!!
As the Americans say - "wouldn't piss in his ass if his guts were on fire"
The presenter wasn't. He was a major distraction and an annoyance to the documentary with his irritating facial expressions and asking too many impertinent questions.
better to say stupid questions, typical presenters with no clue, what they are talking about
even with lot of extra cash I would consider it....however it is going to be one the most beatiful cars ever made.....no doubt
a Jaguar car built by Jaguar is not a replica of a Jaguar
You are absolutely correct, especially if it is registered in the original inventory book.
A car built fifty years after the original cars, regardless of who builds it, is still a replica. They set out to copy the originals, and so they will remain copies.
A 're-issue'.
so you judge people on how much they are willing to share online over intelligence?
If you're using patched tools, modern laser cutters, and pictures of the upholstery googled from the Web, you're creating a replica, no matter who you are.
Lord March's memory is failing him unfortunately. I was at the Goodwood 12 or 15 years ago when somebody was competing in a replica / clone Cobra Daytona Coupe. The commentator when announcing it was quick to point out that the entrant owned the original car that it was cloned from .........Mmmmm - maybe he has tightened up his rules in recent years.
the Cadillac ad that precedes this video is extraordinary....don't skip it...
*☀That🙄was great🌅thank you for Sharing they are special Company Luv jaguar'$🐆*
Anybody who has been to the Goodwood revival will have seen the cars being raced beyond their original limits and crashed as a result. Once you have the replace the bodywork with a new panel, it is not "Original." It is an old car with new parts. The owners of these cars are the worst type of schoolboy bullies. They live in a rarefied world where they think they are better that another person simply because they have money. I applaud Jaguar for building these beautiful cars. They are only replicas in so far as every car built after the very first E-Type is a replica of it!
I seem to remember it was said when asked ,what car he thought the most beautiful ever made Pinninfarina replied for Shere beauty of form, it had to be the Jaguar E type !.
Six cars that were commissioned but never built does not equate to being a replica, yes they will have no racing history but also will not of been molested, crashed and shagged by everyone else.
If anything these six would of been built with a much higher standard and attention to detail then any of the originals as can be seen in this documentary.
The E type to this day is a stunning carI was lucky enough to travel many miles in one
I don't think i've ever been so jealous of a man in my life.
Congratulations! Well done!
A great example of what humans can do when they put their hearts and minds into something. Congrats to the owners.
This fabulous jag is far better than the old original and worth every bit of a million quid ))
Jim ; Sorry but the market never lies.
@@buildmotosykletist1987 I guess this must be the comment section ))
GREAT CRAFTSMANSHIP 👏👏
Car is beautiful no doubt about it. It was funny to listen to the owners of the original cars, and what they had too say of the tribute car. I was restoring an old military jeep and I was getting very picky about a particular part, and my father was standing over me and said you’re making it to perfect they did not come off the assembly line like that. He actually drove the particular Jeep that I was restoring so he would know. That made me pay attention in the whole other way. It seems like they’re trying to do away with every little flaw that the original may have had, and I think that takes away from it a little bit. I guess if you want perfect have an assembly line robot do it, but when the car is made by hand no one car is the same or perfect.
How beautiful is this car
Lord March was up his own backside. Goodwood House isn't original, it has been maintained with modern materials, wired for electricity, running water installed etc etc etc.
The point is though that every car at Goodwood revival is a period car with an unbelievable amount of racing pedigree (ie, Carol Shelby's cobras are regularly there, Dan gurney's GT40 etc etc). Lord March doesn't turn his nose up at them he simply wont invite them as they don't have the unbelievable racing history that the Revival invitees have.
At the very least I have some of those Corgi and Dinky Ferrari models.
Lord March's comments have so often been misquoted. He was talking about the Member's Meeting - NOT the Revival!
Pretentious pathetic outdated
I'm amazed tooling still exists anywhere for one of these cars
Dravifo ; What they said was not quite accurate. There is a co in Britain that restores E-Types and they acquired a lot of the original tooling and patterns. He was intending to manufacture new cars but I have not heard if that got off the ground. cheers,
I had a '67 E-type roadster in the late 1970's. Bought it for $1750, restored it & sold it in 1980. Oh, the regret. I need to go cry now.
[thank, you for you're video]👍
Look at a factory tour (UA-cam Video) of Morgan Motor Cars ( in Wales), very much "every day" happenings in their shop, are the craftsmanship these blokes had to resurrect.
That is one HEAVY car!
44:27 So much time and trouble getting "perfection" built into the car yet they couldn't even get the alignment of the twin exhaust correct (back into the shop boys, try again).
Yea sure the 'real thing' owners get all snooty about such things, but the reality is such recreations, as they now call them, adds interest and value to the rare originals. Maybe, this was at the buyers preference, but the best hand made ali body work does not need all that filler to 'iron out imperfections'!
The out of line tail pipes weren't the only fault, did anybody else notice the the rubber trim hanging off the roof on the drivers side, just after the silly can I drive it question.
Provenance carries quite a lot of weight for collectables of all sorts. Probably should race in a different class vs the veteran cars. Where do they get the engines? Do they cast, forge, and machine new ones?
Engines are supplied to Jaguar by a third party - they do not cast their own engines for these cars (or any other of their replicas come to that). In truth, they do very little other than assembly.
This 'Provernance' crap is just upper crust puffery of emotional one-upmanship. No one really gives a shit who owned or drove the car. Sitting in the vehicle that the Queen drove doesn't make you the Queen. Then there is the other puffery with naming car owners as 'Keepers'. WTF! Just more poncy bullshit from overly rich people with no real grasp on reality.
One thing that cant be classed as replicas - the unassigned chassis numbers.
And theyre written in a genuine Jaguar Cars Records Book.
I agree with Lord March. No racing heritage, no Goodwood.
#29.20 What sliver/chrome car is that? And they didn't say anything about the engine!!!
I think this new ones were made so carefully to be priced +1 mill and the originals were made to be priced at only 50k .
Cannot see the originals being made anywhere near as carefully.....they were designed to be raced.
Makes me like Jaguar a bit more :)
Great story, except for the presenter saying the guys will loose their jobs if the customer is not happy.. pure crap BS.
MichaelKingsfordGray
Criticise the autocorrect on my phone if you will.... I can not catch every error it makes. It was not an English major and neither was I. I’m an engineer, and get more pleasure out of creating things than being a language cop. And what the heck, “loose” makes a pun, “lose” is just boringly correct.
Use a proper grown-up's phone that just makes phonecalls instead of the stupid 'do-it'all' phones for lazy people. They can't assist with spelling either because they're already corrupted with illiterate trans-Atlantic English to begin with.
How far back doth we to get correct english?
english ere the normans or the vikings haply pre roman?
And the dude buying it arrived in a Mercedes
Yes absolutely, just a bit of fake TV drama. If the first customer pulled out there’ probably be a queue of people waiting to replace him.
The guys at goodwood were unsurprisingly snobbish , but the magic of those last 6 cars is undeniable
Is it?
A 60s or 70s Jaguar is of that period . A 21centuary Jaguar of the same model is to me an updated version of that model with today's safety standards incorporated .
Arriving to inspect a Jaguar in a mercedes (lowercase intentional).
the Guys at Jaguar ,made a great job putting these Cars together, And being Built by Jaguar well done,, But Lord march is right, these cars are built by Jag,they may have the last six numbers to them by Jag, But they are new ,they have no racing history , But I would not call them replicas , they are New E type light weight Jaguar's,
From the thumbnail I was hoping for the XJ 13, but the video was enjoyable.
Is it a replica being that it's made by jaguar using the same presses and tools used in the 60s? Granted the aluminum is probably higher grade the materials are modern...but it is made to race by jaguar... Catch 22 to say the least... These thoughts coming from a jaguar enthusiast... I have pictures as kid sitting on my grand dads steering wheel in his 51 xk120 which is now restored and I own.
"Which is now restored and I own" ....so it's not original because it has been restored.
Cars are my passion! But they are like a living thing. Like the Perfect Woman. She can merried but she has to be free to be who she is . The way her maker made her.
I kick myself everyday because i let an E-Type slip past me many years ago. Driving towards London through Romford in my Mark 2 Jaguar i saw an E Type displayed in a way that could not be missed. Soft top, Primrose yellow, and stainless steel highly polished everywhere.
The rear up in the air, the nose on the ground. It looked magnificent. The sun shone and the car sparkled like a bucket full of Diamonds. Why didn't i stop and buy it, I have no answer to that, This was in around 1968, I feel sick every time i think about it. The previous night, with friends driving back to Chelmsford we reached 140 mph asking everyone every 10mph if they were ok with this, The answer was Yes, They were enjoying this as much as i was. WE COULD HAVE BEEN DOING 150 IN THE E TYPE.
No stainless on an original E-Type.
Priceless car with race pedigree and provenance... puts helmet on roof. What a jag off.
Love the old Jag's , but the over marketing and extra's make it OTT, they spent so much time on it, they probably lost money. Make's me wonder if some of these guy's are reason Ford/BMW had problems getting this company to turn a decent profit. Jaguar is back now with TATA, they are turning Jaguar around, as everybody seems to love the new F-type, they look amazing on the road and even Porche/BMW are worried. WELL DONE JAGUAR, keep up the great work, putting the brand back into mind's and demand of the public, I believe they are taking on more staff and sales are going up. Where BMW/FORD failed TATA has succeeded!
Not so sure that BMW ever had anything to do with Jaguar - they own Mini, owned Land Rover at one point, but I don't think that they ever got hold of Jaguar. The JLR nomenclature is relatively recent, definitely post BMW. Correct me if I'm wrong, please.
Hard to get misty eyed over a Faberge egg for the elites..
good job, engineers,. But you're polishing the brass on the Titanic
Someone has to do it. Better to keep the billionaires busy with toys, lest they become bored with themselves, and decide to take over the world, god forbid.
Ha, Lord March said they do not have replicas race at Goodwood (at the members meeting)! The problem with that is, no-one told Chris Harris! He raced a replica 250 LM there!
It's very great to watch the knowledge and the craftsmanship added to this car , still I can't loose the small part decadence I do taste ................
mostly it is being seen as an investment , for the buyer , to make profit out of it , on the somewhat longer term , and most likely will
stand there , whilst the car shouting , "Pedal to the metal "please ...................................
They're not replicas, they're a new batch of production and now to a higher standard than the original. What if Jaguar had never stopped building them? Would they still be considered replicas? Yes there will be a difference, and I can see why you might not want them to race against 1960's cars but then that's because of the age not that it's fake.
And when people talk about it lacking the pedigree they're wrong, it has the same pedigree as the 1960's models. The individual cars doesn't but the model does. Just like if one of the old ones had been rolled straight from the production line into a shed and been sitting there for all these years.
Enjoyed this. Wonder if Danny DeVito was happy with his car.
Well, I'm waiting to see your car driven!
Absolutely beautiful 😍
Nothing Sexier than Red E-Type Convertible with Top Down and the Power and Sound Jaguar DOHC 6 Cylinder Engine
Ha! First customer is a sawed-off, little Danny DeVito.
There are not very many woman who would be impressed by this car... I would argue the opposite that this guy is a true enthusiast. Money well spent id say
Ha ha! My old maths teacher used to refer to short people as 'a sawn-in-half git'. I was thinking exactly what you have said when he appeared, my life alreddy!
He wasn't the first customer. He was the 4th. in the video he told them to make number four the best. The customer they didn't show was the first.
Yes perhaps, but he'll fit the car better than any of us...
Lord March and the Owner of #1 definitely have it right, it really is a "replica", when you get right down to it - although they are very, very nice replicas. That said, I was glad to hear the owner of #4 say that he would drive it/race it. My fear was that all 6 of these would be stuck in glass cases and put in some rich guy's/gal's closet - pardon my opinion, but rich people have really screwed up the vintage car hobby. I don't own any million dollar vintage cars, but I have had a couple of nice E-types and other similar cars. While I take very good care of my cars, I also drive my cars ... hard. If I had the money, I would have been lobbying to get on the buy list.
I grow weary of all the self-professed experts below. Here's a simple question for you: If Jag's are so good, why has the company been sold so many times? Could it be that it cannot turn enough profit to be self-sustaining? If so, why? Maybe Jags are not as good as you all allude to. High pricetags and speeds do not always mean high quality and durability.
As a former XKE owner, and my best friend also owning a Mk X sedan, I can tell you why.
They were originally engineered to be driven around quaint little English villages in their year-round temperate climate.
When you went beyond that they were unreliable and the E type did not have passenger comfort in mind.
When you spend more time under the hood (or "bonnet" if you prefer) then behind the wheel, it gets old fast.
I’ve had 14 Jaguars you dickhead. Nothing better.
Keep driving your Granada😂
The car is great and do more well done , Lord March should have the cars at the meetings they are not Reps
Fantastic
Will they be allowed in a race for classic race cars?
Why are they refering to the cars as No. 1 and No. 4? it is No.13 and No 16.
Their in-house convention is to refer to the first-built prototype car as "Car Zero". They then number the customer cars "Car 1", "Car 2" etc. That may be why they refer to them as Nos. 1 & 4?
A cynical person might suggest this is first and foremost about making money - and not necessarily respecting or celebrating heritage ;)
I don't hink you have to be cynical! If, as they say, they are the next six in the line then maybe 13 - 18 would be the correct numbering??
Possibly - the "missing cars" thing is perhaps credible but really no more than hype. The hype was pushed even further in their latest run of XKSS cars which supposedly replace the nine cars destroyed in the fire in 1957. In truth, not a single XKSS was destroyed in the fire - they were all still D-Types.
Mark, your voice is identical to Martin Brundle's, but lighter for speed.
It's Danny Devito!
lord march said reps he has reps cars at goodwood already copper and maseratis
Replica my arse, those dried up classic car fans need to relax. The six new lightweights are simply delayed models.
Replicas? Bullshit! Delayed models? Bullshit! They are what they are. Jaguar E-type lightweights from 21st century as opposed to 20th centuryThe provenance of the 60's cars is in no way sullied by these.Manufacturing methods and the resources available to Jaguar have moved on. These 6 are built to far higher standard (fit and finish) than was required for the 1960's race cars. It had to be - the buyers demands and Jaguars reputation . . . I don't see that anything other than perfection in these 6 being acceptable to the market.I commend Jaguar for paying homage. Bravo!20 years from now in the classic car market there will still be a distinction but values of these "hi-standard" versions will be comparable as we will be one human generation removed and the legends from the 50's and 60's will have passed. Harsh, I admit. But true nonetheless.
+Rod Sdmba The new models are given registration numbers reserved for six E-Type Lightweights that were never made.... Thus they are delayed models.
+Kristian Brandt It's an argument of semantics and certainly our opinions won't hold sway in that market. The cars elicit passion - we agree there.
I totally agree with you.....Those "Straw hat, pebble beach style punks" are hateful
worldentropy Not saying Jaguar necessarily has experience which excels that of an experienced coachbuilder. But the E type was built by Jaguar. This means that no car built by Jaguar can, by definition, be considered a replica. you could consider it a homage car, but if Jaguar releases it as an E type lightweight, then it is an E type lightweight. You cannot dispute this.
Did they use Lucas electrics - the Prince of Darkness?
The greatest problem with Lucas Electric if they tried to be too, shall we say, traditional. For the plug-in connectors they used pure copper rather than brass. Pure copper has no resiliency like brass does for the holding connectors together in place, four example the spade connectors. They simply come apart at the most inopportune times. I have had this experience many times with my 1964 MGB my 1960 MGA and my 1969 Jaguar XKE, but since I am an electrician and an Electronics technician this was no insurmountable problem for me. For a person with minimal mechanical and or electrical aptitude keeping ahead of the game with Lucas electric it's an expensive challenge.
Spring tension on the fuse clips is another engineering failure on the part of Lucas Electric...
no adverts? Immediate ad, as soon as I clicked the link
Great documentary aside, as well as what is an amazing piece of automotive engineering, why oh why have the producers of this fine documentary (albeit with a slightly annoying personality probing impertinent questions) gone and used the usual 'predictable' and all-too-often trodden path of a rubbish production company that churns out the most annoyingly crappy plucked violins 'stupid humour' music? It is intrusive, immature, and not the concept of anyone grown-up at all but the lazy and ineffectual work of some bunch of thirty-something nobodies who plague all too many programmes with this kind of uncreative shit! What was most annoying of all was when they ruined one of the most interesting parts of the whole programme: the part where the engineers were trying to start the car engine on the track. Anyone will know that cold-starting a high-compression engine takes a bit of fettling, and maybe more than one attempt, but the pure music of such an engine when it turns-over and eventually crackles to life is a sonic joy. So what do these idiots doing the music go and do at this precise moment? Punctuate the attempts at starting the engine with bloody stupid humour music. Moronic!!! Too many kids who haven't a clue running television today.
'Slightly' annoying???? you Sir, are the master of understatement.
What a wonderful thing
wow 1,000,000LBS!? its going to be as heavy as an aircraft carrier! mind blown!
Aircraft carriers START at 29 million pounds in weight. The heaviest (Nimitz class) weighs 194 million pounds. So your concern is unfounded, it seems. Can a mind blown that easily be restored, d'ya think?
fuckin jesus, you must be fun at parties
Hope Danny DeVito liked his E-Type.
these are replicas , very nice ones indeed, since Jaguar reuse the original blue prints, nothing wrong with that as long as they are not presented as the original six.
Agreed. Lead is the only way to go. I hope they didn't align the bonnet latch issue by prying on the receiver with a screwdriver.
That one buyer looked a bit like Danny Devito!
Do a lot of resto or fab work, do you boyo? Lead doesn't work on aluminum. These are ALUMINUM-bodied cars, not STEEL like the production units.
Talking about aligning the latch Schweinehund
Guess you can't read what YOU wrote, either. Typical youtuber.
Last song is great like this car
Isn’t it a wonder when you can spend seven figures and feel you are getting your money’s worth.
Double check the fuel line clamps and brake lines!
