Noo.. yall got it all wrong. They speak prices, but not on that particlur 1 off car. If you bought it (or if u won a large amount of money).. you may not want those involved telling just anyone what you paid. U may or may not choose to tell people yourself.

... and if u think thats bad, Ferrari has many cars they will not sell you when they come out. Certain cars can only be bought if you purchased 2 previous Ferrari's (from Ferrari) ..
Then they have certain cars they will sell you but you cant take it with you. You have to come to Ferrari and they let you drive it supervised, at their track.

One way to look at it :-- How amazing is their attention to details and what level of perfection. What a gem of a car.
Another way of looking at it :-- So much money and time and pain gone into details that may never be appreciated enough or are not worth spending for since no one is ever ever gonna know the millimeter of imperfection, the white gold that will never be seen under the diamonds, and so on....
The sort of people who would buy that car literally need things like cars to be that expensive. I mean seriously, if you don't pay ridiculous amounts of money for stuff, then what's the point of having ridiculous amounts of money? They 've got more money then they can spend.

I always dreamed of working in the interior dept for this car company. Placing the wood or leathring. I spent a year reading about interior repair and leaning how it's done from many books.
As with many artists, it's always good to maintain a portfolio of your work. I'd love to see your handiwork!

That's not the point it's cracked and under magnification it can be seen. The real problem is the crack itself is not gonna get any smaller with time and it will be far worse for the customer to tell them they found it than to make it again correctly.

second hand Rolls have always been a fraction of the original price. Same goes for every other make of car out there, but with Rolls' it's always been especially true.

Well I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. It was quite a pleasure to see how the China and the United Arab Emirates are purchasing the cars, no representation in the United States all though they are big purchases. The diamond work seems so extravagant to me but I’m not in the league of purchasing something at this level other than a big house. It was quite enchanting to see how the owner of the dealership created his own Rolls Royce design model that was reflecting the heritage of the pearl fishing from days gone by. And it was a beautiful car.

Oprah Winfrey the only time someone will appreciate real craftsmanship is when they work hard to achieve something. Only then will they truly understand what is a masterpiece.
Oprah, having worked at a British car shop for several years, I have developed an appreciation of RR cars. A man with a 1983 RR came in, with the driver's window down and wouldn't go up. I removed the window switch out of its rubber pocket in the door. It had 8 micro switches. I figured out which one was responsible for the driver's window, removed that switch, disassembled it, burnished the contacts and reinstalled it. Now it works!
