  • The Arri Rec709 LUT, as we all know, is an industry standard look up table, used by thousands of professionals all around the world. This LUT is not only used with Arri Log C footage, but it's also used with other cameras as a color space transform LUT. With our BUTTERY Natural Rec709, we tried to fix what was in our opinion off in the Arri LUT. Raffy and I both shot lots of footage using Arri cameras so we had a huge amount of clips where we could test our Natural. So what did we fix? Our Natural Rec 709 LUT for Arri Log C dramatically improves the highlights roll-off, it balances the overall green cast, while reducing the magenta shift on the skin tones and it also reduces the blu channel noise and color shift in low light conditions. After months and hours of testing, we finally have a v1 available on our website and we are super excited to see what you guys think! This LUT is specifically designed for Arri Log C footage, but some customers are already using it with Canon C200, obtaining stunning results. Like any other BUTTERY LUTs, our Natural will work in literally any situation: daylight, low light, interior, exterior, tungsten etc. You will only need one LUT.
    All the clips in this video were shot by myself on the Arri Alexa Mini.

    Excellent LUT. If I had an Arri, I would definitely choose the Buttery.

    Very nice product demo... Very-very tempting by the way! But as a rental company I could not give them away to my clients. I will share the links for sure though. May I ask by the way what lenses did you use?

      Justin Ashlye hey Justin, yes you can, but we don’t have one for the c300. Some people are using the Arri one with good results tho!

    Nice LUT, any chance to create lut for FX9? I noticed the color science is different to the FS series.

    As a photographer I would like to see more light in the eyes...to dark makes a person a nonperson to say it like that. But cool grading. Great colors.

    How to use the Buttery LUTs with the new color management in DaVinci Resolve 17.4 (davinci wide gamut)? Thank you.

      @matteobertoli  2 роки тому +1

      They are not made for wide gamut. Just use them as before :)
