Ah shit we back again. It saddens my heart that Tower of God, a superior emotional and for sure philosophical story gets.. *that* kind of adaptation while Solo Leveling gets this superior animation. I read both webtoons at the same time and while ToG was my favorite this anime I'm enjoying the hell out of while I'm not even going to finish season 2 of ToG. Just hope they draw some more inspiration from the light novels which I heard heard has more actual philosophical story behind it but we'll see. Either way this is good shit.

There was a good little sign of that in the most recent trailer (minor spoilers if you haven't read the manwha). Remember the little shots they showed of the high orcs? They actually showed bodyguard number 4 getting embedded in the ceiling. That's a great little gag, showing what's probably half his total screentime in the preview, but it's a good indicator of how they'll treat the other 3.
