It was weirdly painful to see someone who's seemingly never played portal or zelda to play that first game... just put the block on the button to open the gate :P
@@fiend-off-the-grid Sometimes, yeah! But then again this was also version 0.0.1 with placeholder graphics - even the coins don't change when you pick them up, so there was plenty of context there
You can also use Vector3.normalized or .Normalize(), then just multiply the vector by your speed. I'll have to check out .ClampMagnitude, I've never ever seen that used before haha.

it's a kinda shitty looking button, tho. also, buttons in zelda activate when you stand on them, usually showing you what the point of the switch is

It never occurred to me to use normalize. It's just always how I've done it. Makes sense though.
