I don't necessarily disagree with your evaluations in that they're all defensible, but I think that teams absolutely need to weigh need and position value when drafting players who are roughly in the same tier.

I always respect your views and like that you follow your own path. It's refreshing. I disagree with a few of your views in this particular video, which is rare. However, that might be because I've gotten so used to seeing the same views over and over again from other channels that I believe that to be the only way.

Jets can't get a receiver in round 2. That pick went to GB for Rodgers.
But I agree if the top WRs do'nt fall, it'll be OL depth for the Jets
I argue Cincinnati signs a CB post draft. They have shown interest in bringing in Xavien Howard. Hopefully, in the a few months, they actually pursue him
I'm a Packers fan and we loved Tyler Nubin as a fan base, but his testing numbers were absolutely horrific. I don't think you can take a guy with those numbers in the 1st Round. He had a 3.67 RAS.
I had been pushing for MHJ before I knew anything about drafting and started listening to Mock drafts for NE. If Maye is there, though, they need to take him.

You were correct their is for sure alot of people going to disagree with the Falcons pick. You said we needed a interior defensive lineman when thats actually the strongest defensive position on the entire team. Also we no longer run a 4-3 defense under coach rah so it would actually be a 3-4 Edge rusher not a interior defensive lineman. Our 3-4 edge guys are Grady Jarret, David Onyemata, Zach Harrison, and Ta'Quan Graham. So you literally took a guy to sit behind 2 already top tier guys in Grady and Onyemata and to share snaps with 2 other talented edge guys we just drafted in the 1st 3 rounds. Plus we might have Callias Campbell come back to further take snaps away from Newton. If you wanted to go interior D-line it would be for a 3-4 NT which we actually don't have on the roster outside of Eddie Goldman who has retired twice on us already doubt he sticks around this time again.
What we do need are 3-4 olb edge rushers which the only one we have is Ebeketie you might can say lorenzo carter but that dude might give you 3 sacks if you are lucky. Thats pretty much it on the entire team and we need a edge rusher BADLY. Latu or Turner would be perfect fits here for our scheme and position Verse would be less of a fit but a great player as well talent wise.

ll even go as far to say as you literally did what you said would be the reason you wouldn't do it. In not taking a player because you already had alot of talent there at the position starting. Newton is not beating out or better than Grady or Onyemata for a few years.
Not sure about a S to Detroit. They've been talking about Branch back there more. There are also some thinking Diggs is coming back after June 1, which I think would be a damned savvy move
With WR being so deep this draft I'd take Kingsley Suamataia at 32 for the Chiefs. After him, it falls off fast for OT and a quality WR can be found later.
Dolpins fan here: They need Guards, DTs, and a safety. If the best Guard in the draft is there, I think they take him.
Charges really really need a WR, taking Odunze instead of Alt is not a reach
Steelers fan here. Funny how I've been arguing with other yinzers over the past couple of months that it's not a reach to take a center in the first round, and here you are casually putting one at 16.
They REALLY need a center. I've been arguing against tackles, but if Latham falls to 20 I'd have no objection. A lot of Steelers mocks I've seen have them taking Mims- with his lack of experience I would put him even lower than 31 where you have him. He's probably going to be a great player, but too much risk for a 1st rounder for me.
I noticed you have Barton at 24. I'd very strongly consider taking him at 20 because the Steelers need a Center and would like a Tackle. Especially if JPJ goes at 16 - there's a big dropoff to Frazier and a bigger dropoff to Van Pran.
Next time run through the sim until the Panthers and the Browns get their first picks

Mark my words: Drake Maye will be playing for the New York Jets in 2028.
There's almost no chance of that happening. The Jets don't pick until 10th so they'd likely have to trade up for him, and even if he was there, they have Rodgers on a rental. Drafting Love was what made Rodgers so upset with the Packers. The Jets are all-in on Rodgers.

@@djcook Yeah, I understand that. Anybody can say anything. Think about everything that has to line up to take that seriously. Drake May has to pretty much completely fail, then the Jets have to be the team to get him, but why would the Jets want him if he failed? And in the meantime, what do they do at QB between Rodgers and Maye? Is Maye just the backup?
Furthermore, if we want to get technical, he said "cut". Well, 2028 would be the end of the 4 years, so they would have to decline the 1st Year option (unless Maybe goes after the 1st Round) and let him walk into Free Agency, which is not the same as cutting him. So, I mean maybe? But the chances are very, very low, and it's pretty much just throwing something out to sound smart if it happens, which is heavily dependent on luck.
