Another great video Elias. Top water on the backwater is my favorite kind of fishing. You should try your luck in the ICW between Carolina and wrightsville beaches. I have had good luck working all those dock pilings in the past.
Sweet! Trout on top. I'm always stuck in the back bays of South Jersey since I've never learned how to safely launch in the ocean. I always feel like something bad is gonna happen hahaha.
If I felt like I could properly explain it, I would have made the video. A lot of “jigging” is so situational to area/tide etc that a basic overview might not work...
I think could make one no problem just explain to us what you are doing and using like you usual do more little more detail. Like how long is takes to get to the bottom and the technique or cadence.
Keep that drive pin under the prop greased real good (Aquashield) and rinse it after every trip - the salt messes with the drive and I check mine regularly (pred PDL). Have spare drive pins/wrench and prop on board too, just in case. It uses the Minn Kota trolling drive pins (same company, use the small pins for the smaller trolling motors). You can get them cheap on ebay.
Thanks for making this video.. it’s crazy feels like you was reading my mind I was buying lures yesterday and I was thinking of picking one up but ppl told me that it’s for bass that’s why I didn’t pick one up.. now I will
Hi Elias , one question!! Is it true the Penn Spinfisher VI does give a lot of problems by spooling the braid? And is that good only with braids over 20-25 lbs👍🏼??? Can you tell me more??
Elias ,I’m fairly new to kayak fishing.Especially saltwater. Do you have someone with you when you are ocean fishing or do you ever go alone? How far off the beach do you go?
Elias, you are totally selling the Wilmington area to me and I am certain others. I got my 20 with the city up here, and am looking for an area down there to call my new fishing digs. woo hoo!
Thanks, E. Always love the backwater stuff, especially trout on topwaters. What kind of reef is that with the tide flowing over it? Is it rock or shell? I recognize it from a previous video.
Great opening sequence. Love teasing fish on topwater. What net do you use? Is it rubber coated. Been getting hooks caught in the net lately but I guess that’s a good thing because it means I’m catching
Do you eve use a side-finder when in the backwaters? None of the usual electronics were visible. For future consideration: "Pocket Poncho" ... near zero weight - near zero space.
Man, I’m obsessed with my gps. I rather be back on top of where I caught fish vs looking at side scan. Unfortunately my screen isn’t big enough for both gps and scan.
“Bait, a lot of bait, but not much besides bait” - pretty much sums up the entire east coast rn, love from MA 👍

Exactly what I needed right now lol
I love how deep the new yak is!
Can you make a How to Jig video? I think it would help sell more of your tackle! and it would help viewers catch more fish.

Elias jigs most of the time. Watch some of the other videos. A couple videos show how to hook on a crab. That seems to be the most difficult part.
Wow is that a new camera? Looks like mega hd. It might have just been because it was overcast not sure. Great job fishing 👍
I'll be giving this a shot in Hatteras next month!
Great video! I’m driving to South Carolina and I’m fishing throughout the week
I'm in myrtle beach, need to link up and go out on the yaks
Nice video and I like that you list your gear.. I was thinking about getting the spin fisher 2500 do you still recommend it?

How often do you go with topwater in the backwater?
Elias I enjoy your vids could you please give some instruction on how you bleed a fish for good eating
You cut the gills with the scissor. That's all.
LOVE your stuff please tell us the fish you are catching! We don't know
Nice. Do you have a link for that landing net?
Nah honestly couldn’t tell you where to find it

2 mile rock wall
It's fishy, but it's also really really tough.
Never leave keeper fish to find fish Elias. Masonboro Inlet with popping corks and gulp shrimp or even your baits with scent is deadly. Great video.

Very very cool. Thanks
How do you like this pedal drive vs a hobie?
Like everything has its pros and cons, that being said it has a place in my personal arsenal!
EliasVFishing do you have any comments or opinions on the hobie mirage pro anglers series at all? I’ve been looking at them recently.
This guy legit lives in the same town as me I gotta go out with him one day I bet it would be a day never to forget
Good thing that predator is fast 💨
I like the backwater artificial stuff
Yikes, I would be awfully nervous in the middle of a body of water with them poles sticking out.
Great video!
Use grease, not spray lube (eats the rubber and plastic)
0:00 dat voice crack tho
Nice bro
Stay safe man.
ill give a try again to my unsuccessful whoper popper
Damn, that Old Town money get you a new camera? Haha jk man
