I'm late to the party with all these Tiny games. I want to get one, but didn't realize there are so many with expansions to boot. Thanks for the ranking video.
I bought Tiny Epic Galaxies in 2020 while looking for a solid 2-player game. Since then it has become my favorite game! It takes under an hour to play and is so replayable. The secret missions force you to play different strategies. I also LOVE that you can play as a single player against one of the Roque Galaxies. I'm leaning toward Dinosaurs or Zombies after watching your video. Thank you for your ranking Tiny Epic games!
I own mechs, galaxies (plus BtB), tactics (plus maps), dungeons (plus stories), dinosaurs, and zombies. I agree 90% with your list. Tactics I really regret buying, and mechs was a disappointing because I was expecting a full-on robot brawl, while all I got was people moving around placing mines and turrets, while combat happens almost by chance. I'd just rank zombies, dungeons and dinosaurs higher, while bringing galaxies down 1 or 2 places. But hey, that's just me. Great video
We actually had the top few so close we mulled over doing it in tiers. It kind of feels like there are 4-ish tiers overall. Maybe once a few more come out we'll look at it again.
Great breakdown/list! I've been eyeing TE: Dinosaurs as my entrypoint into the Tiny Epic series and everything you said clinched it. Also, the TE: Defenders layout looks a lot like Marvel United
Love the rundown! Really well done. My top 3 are Galaxies, Quest and Defender. But to be honest, Defender is only in my top 3 because I only play with the Dark War expansion now.
Really enjoyed this video. I've only played Tiny Epic Defenders, and I did that very recently with my boyfriend while celebrating his birthday. I really wanted a two-player co-op game that can easily fit in a backpack to get through airport security, so the options are limited. We really enjoyed our time with it, and I'd like to play it more, but if it is their first co-op outing, I can see why it might be ranked lower. I am definitely interested in Pirates and Vikings, and perhaps I should give Zombies and Dungeon a shot if they can be co-op as well. Jess mentioned that she loves dungeon crawler board games, and the two of you seemed to agree that Dungeon is an expert-level dungeon crawler game. I would love to try out some dungeon crawler board games, so I was curious if Jess had any recommendations for some intro-level dungeon crawlers?
Tiny epic dungeons is pretty good in terms of rules not being too complicated, but yes, very hard to win. I really like mice and mystics, as a more intro level dungeon crawler. Jaws of the lion is also a good introduction to the Gloomhaven system, so definitely a step up but it does a good job of walking you through the main points.
As I see your list and your opinions on the games, I can see my wife and I. We don't really enjoy take that games, I can play them with friends and have fun she won't play them at all. 😂 that said. Our favorite genre is coop. We LOVE Tiny Epic Dungeons. And yes it is hard and frustrating at the beginning and we loved that! It made us more eager to get back in and complete a dungeon. The first time we beat one was sooo rewarding. Thanks for the list. Really liked your opinions, (Want to get dinosaurios) I want to suggest Aeons end. And if you played it. Would love to know your opinion. 😊
We (and Jess in particular) have been looking at Aeons End for years. I'm a bit less keen on these sorts of deck building-ish Card games. But Marvel Champions has won me over some and a few folks have recommended, so it is definitely still on the list. And thanks for watching! We definitely enjoy Coop, or at least games that let you do your thing over anything with take that. The only mean games we like okay are under 15 minutes or so mean it's comes back to silly - Survive is probably my favourite for the latter.
@@AlliesorEnemies I love Marvem champions! We still have content left to play. Well if you ever get a chance try it out. They also have Astro knights. Its basicly the same thing but with a sify theme, it's a little faster and straightforward than Aeons end. Both published by Indie Boards and cards.
First sorry for my english. Nice video i rexently bought galaxies and western, im happy with their. The first game that callme to the series was quest, just for the equipable meeples hahaha, sadly it wasnt traslate to spanish and the reciews was most positives for TEG, then way i finish buying western to? Well, i baught teg, but it was missed by the delvery company, it was the last one in the shop, they offer me a one game of my choose betwen another games and i pick western. Now i want more tinys, im thinking take dinos, pirates or quest, maybe 2 of their, i need to choose well .
Thanks for the reply. Your English is much better than my Spanish! The Tiny Epic games can be a lot of fun. I think years later after making this Dinos is probably the one we still play most, if that helps. But they all have their good points.
Great list with cool explanations as well, thanks! We also mostly play at 2 so it's nice to hear a ranking from that perspective.

Thanks for watching!! And both of those are great, honestly I don't think you'd go too far wrong either way.

It was our second one. If you like Euro games it's a great one to start with.
And I never noticed that. But you are totally right!
I bought TE galaxies as entry and as a great solo , are wery happy with it

We really need to get Dark War!

@@AlliesorEnemies Thank you so much for the input!
Thank you for your ranking! Great video! My perspective is from solo and my ranking is almost the opposite that yours! Haushushsus
Interesting! what are a few of the best Solo ones?

I love Tiny Epic Games!!
My favorites are Pirates, Zombies, Galaxy, and Dungeon
I think we need to play Pirates with a full four players.
For me:
1. Dungeon
2. Zombies
3. Galaxy
4. Quest
This is a solid ranking. The top two are both really great co-ops.
I only bought Tiny Epic Galaxies so far and very happy with it (also as the easy to play solo) but eying on the DINO aswell :)
Dino is great, but largely because I love dinos.
Wasn't TINY EPIC GALAXIES the 2nd TIny game released? In any case - nice list and a great overview of this series of games!
It could be, according to BGG both that and Defenders came out in 2015.
And Thanks!

Hello ! Thank you for your videos !
Thank you for watching!
I wish you would try Tiny Epic expansions to know how do you rank it after.. (I haven't try it myself. just curious and find it relevant..)
Thanks
Maybe one day. The trick is finding everything here in the UK and of course buying it all :). But it would be fun.
I wish the boxes were 1 size up, they do have issues in some of them where they put size over quality
Yeah, I appreciate that they are cramming all that they can, but in a few cases those lids are pretty tough to shut.
Thank you!
I was so disappointed by Mechs. The suit thing was so cool. Then I saw how it played and passed. What a waste of awesomeness.
It would be fun if they reuse those cool suits in the future. Here's hoping for Tiny Epic Pacific Rim!
thanks!
was that a Tiny Epic Spider? 😂
It legitimately was!
