For my non-singaporean viewers, some of the items' names are abit ambiguous, fyi for googling too:
    4:10
Granny's cakes also known as Min Jiang Kueh in Singapore, Martabak Manis in Indonesia, is a "Turnover pancake" using flour and tapioca starch found across Asia
the fillings ranges from peanut butter, kaya, black seasame paste, chocolate, etc, or plain.
there are savory options too (egg, ham cheese)
    its originated from China.
    9:10
Shrimp mee, also known as Hokkien mee in Singapore, Fujian noodles
Is is a mixed noodles (egg and white noodles) cooked in shrimp, seafood and pork and broth across Asia too and originated from China too

Lets talk history! The curry rice is also known as hainanese curry rice. During the colonial era, the hainanese were famous for being chefs in western kitchens. Hence, they recreated british favourites like curries and pork chops using locally available spices, adjusted to western tolerances. Since then, hainanese curry and hainanese pork chops and other western dishes have been their local staples, surviving into hawker 菜飯 stalls and even Han's Cafe.
Bonus fun fact! The hainanese dont use the translated word for "pork chop" like the cantonese "豬扒”,we literally say "pok chope".

I think that custard apple is what we call atis in the Philippines. I have been watching Mikey's videos for many years. I like the way he describes the food, always trying to paint a flavor picture for us. I like his delivery. I have been watching videos from another food vlogger and he repeats certain words a little too much. I realize that I am used to how Mikey talks in his videos. Mikey makes me feel comfortable. That's why I'm happy for his personal and financial success. ♡

While you’re exploring hawker centres, I’m not sure if you’re aware, but we have one by the beach, East Coast Lagoon Food Village. Best known for satay, but there are also some other very popular stalls there. There are also 2 staff canteens at Changi Airport (that we know about) that are open to the public, and they’re also quite popular. I’m curious to see your take on those places. Happy Eating!

U don't need to find d best hawker. My friends who live abroad for a long time find anything nice. The nuances r lost on them. U only have 2 days. Eat anywhere u r near at meal times. Coffeeshops will do.

You should do a bee hoon review. My mom used to get it at a hawker center when I lived there and I loved it

I hope you bring a small umbrella with you as it's been raining a lot in singapore. For the wonton noodles you did not mix the sauce & noodles well some parts were not coated
