I really like this singapore series, please upload non stop!
Yo finally caught 1 of your videos before thousands of views
Me to lol
Singapore is in my bucket list of place to travel to
I'm from Singapore and now living in the US. I feel so so home sick watching all of Mike's videos in Singapore. My tummy is so deprived! I miss eating Kway Chap the most! 😭 Don't stop the videos! I enjoyed them all immensely.
i hope someone from Singapore will open a store In US in the future
@@AikoHonoka they have, urban hawkers at nyc
I never want the singapore food series to end! Can't wait for the next one! 😄
Just one thing to note. This place is targeting tourist more, so be careful about the pricing of the seafood, mainly fish & crabs. Even though it is not as bad as before, but there have been cases where tourists have been clearly overcharged. Always confirm the price first, and if in doubt, ask any locals around, I am sure they would be willing to help ask or advice
Thanks for the heads up.... Not all heroes wear capes
Sadly is true
I’m pretty sure he’s rich
@@djjazzek so they can overcharge him just because he’s rich?
@@kay-gr1ep yeah, they probably need the money more anyway. Corporatism has overtaken their economy and service workers are suffering
Another bucket list place to go to Singapore😍 some people want kids I want world traveling food and history.
Singapore is a great place , but the food from the hawker centres is always the best .
Hi Mike!! I am a Canadian living in Singapore, if u like Nasi Lemak, you must try Punggol Nasi Lemak at upper Serangoon road. Their rice and eggs and chicken drumsticks are amazing, but beware of the queue though, last time I queued for 45 minutes🤣🤣
recommend both of you go to Adam Road Food Center
I think it depends on your tastebuds.Malaysian say punggol nasi lemak not nice. I'd trust Malay nasi lemak more as they follow original/traditional recipe.
some would say over-rated/over-priced (that includes me LOL)
My home is only 5 minutes walk away but I have only patronised them twice . Quite expensive plus long queue .
Nasi lemak boon lay also damn
I really love your street food tours
You are right. Taiwanese oyster pancake is nothing like the ones in Singapore. I prefer the Singapore ones so much more. Crispy and fragrant, without the Taiwanese gooey sauce
Me too
Me 3!
Mike, go some place else please. Too many episodes in Singapore already!
The nightmarket... it reminds me of the one from the movie crazy rich asians...
Come to malaysia afterwards and taste crasiest dish. You can just get some of it in Johor Bharu or you can get ALL around Selangor - Kuala Lumpur.
The food you could try
1. Nasi lemak
2. Mee tarik
3. Laksa Johor
4. Laksa Penang
5. Nasi Dagang
6. Ikan Bakar with Petai
7. Laksam
8. NASI KANDAR (my favourite)
For Nasi Kandar, you need to find a good store first. Then you’ll hit a jackpot!
Loving the Singapore vlogs Mikey 💕🥰
I live in the U.S. and watching his videos when he is abroad and sampling the variety of foods available overseas just make me think that the American food scene is stagnant. I wouldn't mind traveling to Singapore, or Asia for that matter, just to try the food.
Stagnant? Lol, how so? We have EVERY type of food/cuisine that can be imagined from around the world. We are not called a "melting pot" for no reason. Maybe you should branch out and find food that is more exciting for you. It's here.
You’re talking about California, Vegas, New York, Chicago, maybe Seattle….the rest of states are just stagnant foods.
Cali/NY/Vegas are the best states you will find ALL SORTS of foods, other than that, travel the world for food!
Asian countries will always have great food no matter what!!
Too much regulation and licensing requirements just to do food business. Then you would need to jump hoops on the city level of requirements to conduct food business.
Stagnant? I guess if you only eat at Perkins 😂
Hi Mike thanks for another food journey…always get hungry 😋🤗
Love the Singapore content!
Hello Mike. Another great food vid. Happy Monday.. Enjoy all these good foods. Blessings!! 🐞♥️
Hey Mike! If you're still in Singapore, I beg you to go and try Blanco Court Prawn Noodle! The jumbo prawn kuey teow soup is to die for! A prawn noodle unlike any other!
Real and legendary singapore cuisines.
singapore is a goldmine of food content for mikey
It is indeed do watch out for Mark weins TV series with HBO.
Ah man, you missed out on the carrot cake from "Heng" at Newton! if you get a chance, please do try them the next time. Cheers!
I saw a sign for carrot cake at4:33. Is it like traditional US dessert carrot cake?
@@cck6740 Nope, it is completely different from a western carrot cake. In fact, there is nothing ‘cake’ about it, lol
The nasi lemak at the start...yum! Everything looked delicious though, all those noodles 😍😍 and the fish 🤤
Going to Singapore next month. I’m so excited!
Hey Mike what’s up with the mullet????
All the popular local favorites, irresistibly delicious!! Best choice of food.
Singapore is so beautiful 🎉🎉
Mike Chen drinking game: take a shot every time he says "umami"
Joo-schee;
All that delicious looking Chinese food...I want to eat it all! And I do mean all of it. Keep up the great work with this series, Mike! How's Miss Christine doing with her studies?
🐻
Awesome job Mikey keep it up.
Can't believe I'm here early! Evening from Scotland 😁 love love your videos! Wish you would ship your Hot Oil and HotPot kits to Scotland!!
Hey Mike! If you really want to see the real raw authenthic part of Singapore, Ask around for food in Circuit road area! with many senior citizens, but the food there is much cheaper then central area SGD$3 to $5, yet the tasty quality food that can rival any other regions in Singapore.
I found my first traditional Chinese resturant the other day, I had my first ever traditionally made soup dumplings.. OML 🥰 I now have my cheat day resturant.. I can't wait to try everything off the menu.
Delicious food. Breakfast fit for the greatest food lovers, those duck noodles with that deep broth.... And later, those wings...
Love the street food videos
Love these videos Mike
Wow you're still in SG! Awesome meeting you at China Town and Jurong Point shopping centre mate! Keep up the amazing work
You should definitely visit Serangoon chomp chomp food Center.
Superb Singapore series!
Thanks for a very nice video of the best $2 Singapore street food breakfast at Newton Food Centre👍
Btw, dunno if you're still here Mike but if you want the best Nasi Lemak in pretty much the country, Adam Road's Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak has got you covered. I also recommend getting the Sup Kambing (Mutton Soup) at Barakath Mutton Soup there as well as the Sup Ayam at Warung Pak Sapari. There're are also quite a few other good stalls there so it's worth going one of these mornings!
Glad that you're in Singapore Mike. You should visit Liang Seah street at night to see the vibe over there, tons of Chinese food options.
Also try Amoy Street for Korean/Japnese/Western cuisines.
There's a nice chicken rice located at 925 Yishun. Nearby there is also a long queue of Laksa next to a dessert stall located at 928 Yishun. Give it a try as well! Cheers!
Yes, Mikey I plan on supporting all the Hawker stalls I can in Singapore! The crab was a little pricey! I am trying to assemble a go-to list of your Hawker stalls!
Perfect time I'm eating breakfast.
You had me at "spicy barbecue stingray" (I had to go back and replay.)
Thank you for a amazing amazing video
Hey Mike , I think you just missed quite a few gems while getting lost at the Toa Payoh Bus interchange in the video LOL. Before you got up the escalator, there is a Food Alley past the Bakery that serves Korean food, XinHua dishes and Chinese delicacies. Do check it out next time !
love your videos
Been watching Mike for a bit now and I gotta say, this man is living his BEST life! Great video...now I'm hungry 😁
Those 🍝 look great
Reminds me of the movie Crazy Rich Asians where Newton Hawker Center was featured. Food heaven!!
Watching Mike lessen the disappointment of me having to cancel my flight to Singapore. Still miss the Singaporean Mee Pok tho.
Good food as always Bro
Mikey stay striking out at the food stalls! But he always bounces back and finds even better places to eat at instead
Watching all the way from South Africa
thanks for visiting Singapore Mike!
You always make me hungry
You should visit Amoy food market, lots of nice food there, is a 2 story market
Digging all the content lately. Drop after drop! Since I'm dieting , I'm going to find pleasure in you eating.
Your adjectives are hilarious 😂
Wow, you have been in Singapore for quite a while yeah.. please stay longer and enjoy the food!! 😀
I love your videos Mikey
Wow M just Drooling and nothing else can I do !

That looks good.
Виглядит вкусно,аппетитно!!!😍💥❤👍👍🍓🍓🍓🌴🌴Спасибо большое за видео!!! 🎉🎉
11 dollars for a bowl of fish ball noodles is daylight robbery, no matter how tasty it might be
Hear, hear!
GOSHH that place you got lost at? Was Toa Payoh central and there's A LOT OF GREAT FOOD there!!!!
I’ve been wanting to try sting Ray it looks so good. But I seen videos where they have to break it down just to get to the good meat and it looks like it’s a lot of work
If newton hawker is closed, u can always go to east coast lagoon it’s similar and it’s cheaper
Love oyster omelette too 🎉
Hi Mike would love to see you try peranakan food and kuehs as some had mentioned. Also try vegetarian food! How about Vegan Burg?
Street food be so good and affordable 👍🏼
Hi from Scotland hope you're all safe and well my friends 🏴👍😉✌️🏴
Hi guys,
Just went to Newton hawker center. This place is under renovation until January 2023. However, Lau Pa Sat was open. FYI , if interested trying Satay 7 & 8 on Satay street, go straight to the counter. Order/pay first, then wait in line.
Thank you Mike for the awesome video of Singapore.
While everyone goes for the touristy BBQ stalls, the fish ball noodle store at Newtown hawker centre is the real deal there. But I am surprised you mentioned you paid SGD$11? Likely to be less than that, at least for locals :D it should be about SGD$5-6 instead and for the generous servings, it is really one of the best fish ball noodles around
Try ice kachang, it's a dessert.
The duck noodles look delicious. 😍
Mike, please have a Singapore fanmeet!
EARLYYY AND ALSOO AMAZING FOOD
Wow! The hawker centers look so nice now! Miss singapore hawker food! Nomnomnomnom...
You should try the Fried Stinky Tofu of Newton.
Very nice noodles , I like noodles ! God bless ..
You should try East Coast Lagoon
BBQ Stingray!! The craving suddenly developed ..lol .. i wonder why
Awesome 👍
Hi Mike,u can try toa payoh lorong 8 hawker too! 😊
I had to click this in the middle of the night, 2am and on my way to have a bak chor mee fix
I am not sure if you have tried the beach road prawn mee before! Its at east coast road ^^ but do give it a try and would love to know your thoughts!
Have you tried the seasonal menu from McDonald’s the samurai burger?!
Hey Mike, love your SG videos. We’re also based here. If you’re still here have you considered heading across border into Malaysia to do food reviews there?
Nah
Can I just say after you've tasted oyster omelette from SG or Malaysia, you just can't do Taiwan's anymore! I simply cannot fathom their slimy flour or their 'chilli' sauce, even though their oysters can be fresher... 😅😂
I cannot eat the Taiwan oyster omelette too so wet and slimy and the taste is 😅
@@RacLove228 I know right?! I was like whaaatt is this slime?? And the sauce that is neither here nor there?! 😅
After watching Tzuyang I will never believe that Mikey eats too much anymore
Try adam road food centre. The best nasi lemak is there. Stall Selera Rasa. Using basmathi rice.
Yummy yummy! 😂
you have got to go to Kuching, Malaysia for nasir kemal, adam goreng n all types of noodles
Heng’s carrot cake is my fav carrot cake stall in Newton Food Centre !! 🤤🤤🤤 I think it’s worth trying once if you go back there. ◡̈
