Dimash is next level: not only because of his incredible range (and his famous D8) but also because he has a TOTAL control of his voice, from bass to high soprano, in all registers, and of his breath. And he has an incredible ability to share emotions with his public: when you can see him on stage, it is really an unforgettable experience: you really forget the world, he transports you in an other dimension. That is why he is the best, the only one with a talent beyond words.
Georgia brown can hit a higher note but she didn't do it in a live performance.

Dimash is the only one no matter high note or low note or just pop style note, he can please my ears all the time, and I can listen or watch him everyday without boring, thanks.
In an interview in China they asked him if his highest note is a D8... he himself has said several times that the vocal range is not important, that the important thing is knowing how to use it at the right time, that you don't have to give a note if the song doesn't require it, but at the insistence of the question he answered: "Perhaps I can reach a higher note." wow.
He doesnt seem to struggle hitting the d8 and he is even able to sustain it and put a vibrato. Of course if he pushes himself to the limit I bet It would be at least a G8.

There's one C7 Dimash does at the Bastau concert in 2017 while singing Qazakstan. It's very integrated into the song

It might have been Dimash's range that first caught my attention, but it's his emotional connectivity, how he lives in the music, that's made me a Dear for life!😍😍 (and the fact he's also drop-dead GORGEOUS, certainly doesn't hurt none!)
3:15 that was not actually a G10. The only reason why it was displayed that way is because Georgia can actually hit a G10; the note in the video was showing her hitting what she believed to be the highest note she could hit (Bb7, courtesy of another commenter in the original video) that a human would still be able to hear. Georgia discovered that she can truly hit a G10 when it was tested with a machine that could detect extremely high tones that only dogs and other animals can hear. This way scientists (or some kind of specialists) were able to detect the frequency of the note accurately. Some notes in the eighth octave are still within hearing range, but quite a few people can’t hear that high. I’ll try to find the original video and the comment because that person explained it a lot better.
Guinness world Records retracted the G10 to only the Bb7. Also, I had Mrvocalranges test it personally and he also came up w/ the same results.

@@leif1075 It's a whistle note. Those are a different animal with the voice, but Nicola Sedda has done it though guiness hasn't qualified it fore some unknown reason (possibly couldn't repeat it or they haven't come out to check it. Whatever the reason, you can find it by looking up: Nicola Sedda A9. (It's not that impressive. fyi). Note: some versions you can't hear it, so try a few different posts. There are several posts by different people.

Meanwhile the big media are dedicated to ignore him, apparently maliciously, to promoting more and more all the pseudo-artistic and mediocre garbage that it finds, with honorable exceptions of course. The intention for me is very clear: to empty more and more the minds of the youth in order to submit their consciences to be able to control them more easily. True Art strengthens and elevates the Spirit. Dimash is Art in its purest form and that's why a think, and I'm absolutely sure, He is a Gift from God.

I think special note has to go to Corey, Axl, and Mike Patton (the deepest voice here) for all being baritones with such high notes. Should also be noted that King Dimash is occasionally written off as "oh he's just got a thin voice" when his natural speaking voice is not particularly thin.
Corey, Axl, Mike, Dimash and btw also Adam Lopez are all high baritones, which isn't surprising as all male singers with exceptionally wide ranges are high baritones (The range you are possibly able to achieve is determined by the physiology of your vocal folds, more precisely by its length, thickness and flexibility. All singers with immensely big ranges have unusually long, thin and flexible vocal folds. Tenors lack the required vocal fold length and low baritones and basses the required vocal fold "thinness" and flexibility to be able to hit such a big range of notes). Btw, Mike actually has the "highest" speaking voice of all those 5. None of them has a particularly high or low speaking voice though, which is, again, not surprising because all of them are high baritones (an average voice type which may offer great opportunities though if you have a certain physiology)

Btw, Georgia's sounds like the 7th octave, not the 10th. It's hard to tell as I'm not used to such high sounds, but a quick check of a piano shows a Bb7, if my hearing didn't fail me.

Minnie Riperton deserves to be on this list in a high position. She was Mariah Carey's inspiration for using that part of her range. Minnie Riperton really pioneered using the whistle register in genres of music that weren't opera. From her time under the pseudonym Andrea Davis, into her time as a member of the band Rotary Connection, to her time as a solo artist, which ended with her tragic death from cancer. She's most known for being able to mimic birds and instruments, and enunciate phrases in the whistle register. Since she was also trained in operatic singing, she had more control over that part of her voice, than other singers out there who use that register, with the exception of Mariah Carey, whose mother is coincidently a trained opera singer.
Also, check out Nicola Sedda A9 by Mrvocalranges (and others). He's mostly is studio except the higher stuff which is live recordings. Great clean voice and good songs. He gets ionto the 10s ... sort of. (may have misspelled Mrvocalranges (spacing)).

I find, some can hit the note, but sing with it is a different matter all together. Some of those would give me a headache listening to it for any length of time. Dimash can hit it, sing with it and sound good in it.

Give a listen to Gabriel Henrique - a Brazilian gospel singer who also does covers of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and others. He has a beautifully controlled whistle register and a wonderful tonal quality to his generally tenor voice.

That Vitas song (Smile!) isn't even the highest note he's hit - you should check out the end of Dedication. He maintains a C#6 for 5 seconds then cranks it up to like a D#6 (I don't have perfect pitch but that's what it sounds like to me). I'm a woman and can't even hit those notes lmao but he NAILS them.
