Proud of this one, I was asked to front the announcement for Corsair’s first racing sim rig at Computex 2024 and to a combined follower count of about 8M. Cool!

Jokes aside, iCue was the main reason why I bought nearly all Corsair hardware for my last PC build several years ago and it's now the reason why I hate Corsair and will make damn sure my next build would include zero Corsair products. Having one centralized software that controls all of your pc parts is great until it decides to stop working every other month.
Need a release date and price before I buy something else.

im using a normal seat 10$ and wall to hold pedals.. very cheap.😁

I think this is good being a P1x owner as flexible and adaptable as it is it still looks like a pile of cheep aluminium profile. I like the thinking here, the looks of a roll cage and the cable management which is the worst thing about ali profile. So for all the downers any new innovation in sim racing should be embraced.

haven't been able to run icue on my computer for over a year... crashes every time it launches and my computer is full of corsair products... I have tried about everything short of wiping my drive to fix it. I just gave up and now have constant rainbow puke all over

Looks like they aim for entry to mid range market. Like Fanatec.
I feel this is going to be overpriced. Gotta pay for their heavy marketing and brand reputation. But truthfully you may get Fanatec-grade experience.

unless that seasoned sim racer is living in a small appartement, no way in life he will buy a tubular setup. besides, seasoned sim racers wont even look at this and say its the best, what are we doing here?
there is just not enough stuff out there to add to a tube frame, everything is made for a 80/40 or 80/80 profile setup.

@@red2lucas I thought maybe I was wrong and you would bolt this contraption to an actual simulation rig and that's why the frame needs to be what it is but that isn't the case. This is just a big expensive chair for people with more money than sense.
@@heytheist9349 you can easily get a used seat from a sports car and with simple modifications bolt to a chair-less cockpit that will be 10x as comfy and 10x less price lool

any and off of them can be set on top of a motion platform...
a motion system is $7,000 starting... for just the actuators... no rig included. Overengineered? With legitimate direct driver wheels approaching 30Nm or more you need this or it will flex like crazy which will screw up your driving.

It will only be terrible if it has bad value. It’s really not that difficult to throw some aluminium together to make a good rig. Plus they have an RnD team behind them.
Corsair makes pretty good things and fanatec at the bottom this can only be better...

Because you should always open with your flagship product first. More affordable, higher volume options usually come after you have secured enough interests and the means to scale up production.
