I've been watching you for years... I was sitting here with my 4yr old, my dog and my coffee on the couch. You started playing and to my surprise I started to cry (happy tears). Maybe because in this world there is so much "ugly" being pushed on us, it is so important to see, experience and create beautiful things. That is what gardening is for me and as a believer, that is a way I can honor God. Enjoy making beautiful music!

We measured our house for a grand piano before we bought it. But we found a very bright upright that still does us proud and it left a practice space for all our drums and bagpipes and trumpets and flutes and ukes. Our daughter grew up to be a band teacher and our son can still sit down and play Rachmaninov. We are grateful for the music teachers and the pipe band for always helping us

My heart is overwhelmed! I cried! I came home today from teaching 3 music classes to the homeschool kids at my church to this video. I've been teaching piano for over 10 years and have already seen the blessing of having my student grow to love music and a desire to lead worship in our church. In our lessons today we talked about how God created music to be pleasing and bring joy to us and Himself. I often think about that with my garden too. How can keeping up my garden bring glory to God? God is beautiful and created this beautiful world. We get to follow in his creativity by creating beautiful gardens and beautiful music for His glory and pleasure. I pray this piano brings much joy and worship into your home for many years.

Not to push, but it's there, let him get the feel, and see if he may be interested in learning to play. That's the way to do it. Just like your gardening, Benjamin learns so much just by watching, and listening to you, and by helping out when he can. They do absorb learning at an early age, soaking it up like a sponge, every little thing they see and hear. You an Aaron are doing a beautiful job with your children and selves. I also took piano lessons as a child & because I loved learning, I took lessons 5 more years as an adult.I spent over 50 years playing the piano for different churches & various choirs. We measured our house for a grand piano before we bought it. But we found a very bright upright that still does us proud and it left a practice space for all our drums and bagpipes and trumpets and flutes and ukes. Our daughter grew up to be a band teacher and our son can still sit down and play Rachmaninov. We are grateful for the music teachers and the pipe band for always helping us

I literally started crying when you began to play. I think my dream in life is to be like your mom and raise my daughters to be like you. You have such an eye for beautiful things and you make all of our lives a little better by sharing yourself with us.
Laura, you finally getting a piano and you playing the piano, it made me cry. We have a piano and all my siblings took lessons, I didn't because I was the rebel and I chose the guitar. And now we're all middle-aged adults and the only thing I regret was not learning the piano. You will have so many happy memories in that house. God bless you. :)

My heart is overwhelmed! I cried! I came home today from teaching 3 music classes to the homeschool kids at my church to this video. I've been teaching piano for over 10 years and have already seen the blessing of having my student grow to love music and a desire to lead worship in our church. In our lessons today we talked about how God created music to be pleasing and bring joy to us and Himself. I often think about that with my garden too. How can keeping up my garden bring glory to God? God is beautiful and created this beautiful world. We get to follow in his creativity by creating beautiful gardens and beautiful music for His glory and pleasure. I pray this piano brings much joy and worship into your home for many years.

You have the best parents, and their hard work and love of family shines through you Laura. Now you're carrying it to your children. Not to push, but it's there, let him get the feel, and see if he may be interested in learning to play. That's the way to do it. Just like your gardening, Benjamin learns so much just by watching, and listening to you, and by helping out when he can. They do absorb learning at an early age, soaking it up like a sponge, every little thing they see and hear. You an Aaron are doing a beautiful job with your children and selves. I'm so glad I found your channel AND enjoy peace and happiness while learning myself .

Maybe a Brahms lullaby, some old pieces like Paper Roses and The Song from Moulin Rouge, Tennessee Waltz and throw in some modern tunes and your favorite pieces. But then my practical side kicked in and my brain said, "Wait a minute! I want to help pay for this beauty!" So I listened fully to all the included commercials.
