Oh Laura that was a beautiful 'conversation' of all that transpired this past year, and what it year it was! We squealed with delight right along with you when the Hartley arrived as well with all of the other projects...and that's what makes you so special - we feel like we're right there with you. *Laura you're so gracious, talented & inspiring that you feel like a really good friend when we check in with what you're doing for the day.* Thank you for a glorious year and maybe even more so in these couple of years while there's so much chaos and uncertainty going on around the World. It feels peaceful and loving while learning the many tips & tricks from you, that we can then apply to our own gardens; even the ambience of your cadence & our mutual pleasure from gardening gets carried forward. So, with you and Aaron, Benjamin, Samantha and the extended family we have met provides even more beauty & love in your Beautiful and Lovely Homestead, our Best Wishes for another Wonderful Year in 2022 : D

I’m so emo. I actually have tears. I found this channel and this wonderful community “family” a few years ago and it’s been a thrill to watch you guys grow and evolve and have kids and develop your property and your channel. I’m the one who feels blessed.. I have enjoyed every moment I’ve spent watching, & re-watching your videos. I’ve said it before but I’ll say it now- I feel selfish but I hope you guys don’t ever stop. Your channel is my little piece of heaven and peace in a big & sometimes frightful world out here. I’ve learned a ton. I don’t even have a home of my own but I’ve planted little garden beds at other peoples houses because you have inspired me so much. I can’t wait for the day that I can put all I’ve learned and all the plants you’ve helped me fall in love with in my own yard. Thank you Laura & Aaron so much for giving me hope. 😊♥️

Dear Laura and Aaron your channel is such a delight. The progress you make daily is astounding and an encouragement. Watching everything take form is such a pleasure. You have a warm and inviting personality that makes us all hopeful that the world is in good hands. Your children growing brings back memories of my own growing up so very fast and is heart warming. Blessings to you all in this new year 2022!

this has been an absolutely wonderful reflection on your year... we also feed off your excitement and at over 70 yrs old, we are out gardening like we think we're still in our 30's... it's been wonderful and tiring!... our gardens are looking wonderful - even with our limited resources; we've installed a cut flower garden that will be planted next year; and we've FINALLY cleaned out our shed and it will become a cut flower shed and storage for our tools and pots!.. thank you so much for the inspiration and exuberance - now I have to go take a nap!.. Happy New Year!..

I happened to watch your first garden tour (all 4 parts) a couple days ago - after you and Aaron moved in your new house. You both, your garden and your channel have come such a long way, it is honestly inspiring! I have been subscribed for almost 3 years now and being able to see the evolution of your garden is like a blessing. Thank you for showing us the raw and unedited changes that happened in your life. Both happy and bitter. Whether it is old trees or shrubs that had to be removed due to sickness, the sprouse that fell in that windstorm, the loss of pets, your children, the removal of the tool shed, the arrival of the heartly and the "ugly" stage of trenching. You have been the most honest UA-cam creators out there and I think I speak for everyone when I say we appreciate that! 💖
It feels like we are all being part of your family and it is honestly such an honor! Being part of this delightful community is most certainly a thing I personally am proud of! Thank you once again for the amazing year! I wish you, your families and friends a healthy new year filled with warm, fuzzy feelings and lots of new exciting projects!
Lots of love from Germany! 🤗

I was watching this vlog and was enjoying the look back on what you guys had done this past year. I thought you were filming this from inside your house and just realized towards the end that it was being filmed in your seed starting room. That gos to show you how much you’ve made this spot look so homey and comfortable. You and Aaron have done so much work to bring us great content. I have enjoyed watching you guys work on your property and have learned so much. Have shared a few with my sister too. Here’s wishing all your family and you guys a Very Happy New Year in “2022” and can’t wait till spring to see what it all looks like. You have inspired me to try new things in my own flower beds next spring. Thank you so much for all you’ve shared with us, including the cooking videos, which I love. Also, the sitting down with your mom or whoever and relaxing with a cool refreshing drink.

I unusually turned my phone on whilst still lying in bed this morning and went straight to UA-cam. This video was the first one offered for the brand new year and so I started watching it absolutely delighted. Then an advert came on and thought this video is too good to be lying in bed watching it so I paused my phone, got up, put a bikini on, made my bed, fed my cats and the stray cat. Did the kitty litter tray. Made a pot of tea, hand watered the front garden. Basically my usual morning chores to sit down with my tea to thoroughly enjoy the rest of your wonderful video. Amazing. I must say the cosy corner you have put together showing in this video is just gorgeous. I love that you share moments of your childrens lives with us. Such an honour and a blessing to witness. I really want to thank you and all the people involved in keeping me and so many other people entertained throughout the years and am very grateful for all the future content we have to look forward to.
Wishing you and your families a very happy, safe and brilliant new year for 2022. I hope I remember to wish your kids a happy birthday both 12 days from now and 18 days from now.
    Love you guys xxx

Like I've had always said. You are a true "wonder woman". Thanks for the recap of the main accomplishments. There were many more small ones worth mentioning, like the antique shopping with your mom and sister, helping at Andrews, shopping for trees and the Hartley brick. You have truly provided a year of adventure, entertaining & much needed horticultural education. I can't wait for 2022 videos. Please have Aaron take an aerial video as soon as Spring takes off and another at fall. It would be fun to see how your property has progressed through the years. Laura, it was a phenomenal year. Each and every day I was awed and inspired. I loved every moment watching your success and especially watching Benjamin grow. The inspiration I receive from you on a daily basis and the joy your family brings into my home is indescribable. I am an avid gardener but also a senior who can't do as much as I used to in the garden, but I keep on moving forward and trying new and exciting planting each year. This year I used Supertunia Bubble Gum in all my front pots. My home is white with a hot pink door and WOW what a display I had out there. I would have never known how gorgeous it could be without your advice. I loved it and so did all my neighbors. It was a joy to spend the year with you and your family. Each and every day we can all celebrate the joy of living with gorgeous plants all around us and for me that is what keeps me going. Thank you Laura.

Great recap! My granddaughter, who is now 9, is excited about flowers after watching you and Benjamin create his butterfly garden this year. We dug out a small area, she picked out the plants and seeds and planted them with a little help from "Memaw" and they are blooming nicely. We named the area "Bailey's Blossoms". I want to be a little more prepared like Aaron and a lot more excited about what I am doing as well as put into practice layering etc from you. Someone said it earlier, you make us feel like we are friends over coffee catching up. Many thanks for the willingness you have to share what’s you both do and excitement for the new year!

It's amazing to really see how far your garden has come and to look back at what is was like before, and how much you have accomplished this year,it's looking absolutely amazing! And I'm so excited for spring to see all those bulbs come up that you planted😊 you guys have been a massive inspiration for me so thank you Soo much for these videos, you have helped me so much and kept me motivated . The one thing that happened this year was I redesigned my front garden and made it more of a cottage style type of garden, and so what I started doing the start of this year was taking pictures of both the front and back garden throughout the seasons and all the planting I did, so in winter when I'm planning for the next spring/summer I can look back on those photos😊plus it's just nice to be able to see the progress and to see what worked and what didnt.

Blessed beyond measure for sure. Beginning of course, with Samantha Grace making her way into this world. The South Garden, orchard trees, the lawn, weeding the new lawn, Hartley, cut flower shed..& everything in between all fantastic accomplishments. I was not at all surprised by any of it, since Laura can manage to create a stunning arrangement with 100 plants in a 6 inch pot..haha. Laura and Aaron you and your team are a force to be reckoned with. You are all aspiring with your videos tutorials, refreshers.,arrangements projects & shopping with Mom & Monica, all are a joy to watch.I truly love them all..failure or successes, that's what builds our foundation. Thank you for sharing it all with us and look forward to 2022. Best wishes for a Happy, Healthy New Year Garden Answer friends!

Wow! Look at all the accomplishments that took place over a years time! That is incredible! Thank you for allowing us to come along and enjoy the journey. You are such an inspiration. I have learned so much from your videos.
Last spring I put together a container and wasn't sure if it was the right color combo ( I was just going off the pics on the tags). A week or so later, you used some of the same plants and colors. I wS like.....YES!!! Made me quite excited. It ended up being one of my favorite combinations. 😁

I can’t express how much I enjoyed this video! Your beautiful relaxing space in the studio was the perfect background for this year in review conversation. And my goodness! So many amazing events in 2021, beginning of course with the birth of your sweet Samantha Grace! It’s mind boggling… the changes you & Aaron have wrought on your property in just one year! You mentioned that you feed off of our excitement - I only wish that there was a way for you to measure the pure delight, encouragement and inspiration you bring to your viewers with each and every post & video! I’ve learned so much, I’ve acquired some amazing tools to help me in the garden (a John Deere electric Gator was a gift from my husband for my 65th birthday! 🤩) and I’ve so many plans for our own little piece of this wonderful earth! May 2022 bring you & your family - and all Garden Answer fans - happiness, prosperity, health and love!

I love the fact that you don't let the fear of the unknown stop you from trying something different. Sometimes that fear leads me to over thinking a project because I want to do it perfectly the first time. Watching your channel this past year has taught me that it's ok to try something and then realize there's a better way to do it. It doesn't mean it was a failure. Thank you for that gift of serenity.

How envious I am, your young & in the beginnings of such a great life. Amazing year for sure and thank you for such inspiration for me! For a novice gardener I plunged in & put in my first ever drip system, emitters everywhere. Then purchased recommended flowers for my zone (sunny central California). Took the plunge again & put up multiple wrought iron baskets along my backyard fence. I aligned them supertunias in between my 9 ft spiral junipers. I often tuned in with tutorials of yours & quickly got educated on soooo many things! My home is located at the end of a cul de sac with very wide back yard & this spring it looked stunning, so we took the plunge & put a side patio, with Edison lights, brick pilars wrapped in concrete counters . It now accents our swimming pool area. Currently finished winter weeding, pruning & pulled out old mulch. Thanks to you I look forward to this years 2022 gardening. 💐💐🌸🌸🌺🌼🌹🌷🪴🪴👩🏽‍🌾👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼Thank you..your a sweetheart!

What a wonderful year y’all have had. Lots of chaos early on but so worth it. I would love to have a flower shed like yours. It’s s bucket list item for me. As happy as your Hartley makes you, a flower shed would make me that happy. It’s hard to believe that Benjamin is just 3 years old - getting ready to turn 4. He is so well mannered and caring. He’s way beyond his years. That’s what great parents do. They teach their children when they are young. Y’all are great parents to Benjamin and Samantha Grace. I’m really proud to be part of The GA community. Lots of loving and caring folks. Sorry this was long but y’all really are the best.
May God Bless everyone abundantly. Happy New Year’s Eve Y’all. Hoping and praying that 2022 is better for everyone. Hugs! 💜🪴
PS - All the antiquing trips with your sweet Mom are some of my favorite videos. You truly have an incredible family. Cherish your time with them. Just noticed that you are getting close to 1.5 Million subscribers. That’s amazing!!!

Laura, Aaron and family, thank you for the videos. I’m 24 years old and have always had a green thumb but I’m now dedicating my life to my garden to grow food, flowers and beautiful plants on our almost 2 acre homestead for my family. I’ve learned so many things from you in just under a six-month period. We moved from a tourist resort to the country and we’ve just never been happier at the sheer potential of the growing on the raw land here. It’s going to be hard work installing new raised beds and amending soil this spring but you and your family have lit a flame in my very soul to be able to get it done, and with a passionate smile on my face and in my heart. Bless you and your family and here’s to 2022 and our bountiful gardens! ❤️🌙❤️

2021 really was such a huge year for y'all, from redesigning the whole new property to the Hartley, and of course Samantha Grace, such amazing teamwork y'all have. Definitely inspires me to keep going with my garden. It's crazy down here in Texas we're still having tomatoes blooming/producing like crazy! We're supposed to get down to freezing finally so it's time to go out and cover everything that needs to be covered. I'm wondering how stuff is gonna do when it comes to going dormant, my roses have just pushed new leaves and will be budding up soon, for the 4th or 5th time this year, I've lost track. Any thoughts about how such an unseasonably warm winter affects the timing of those things? I kind of want to fertilize to help them not get strained with all the energy they're putting out. Similar thoughts around my hydrangeas. 🤷🏼‍♀️🙂
