What's up Russ, thank you for your professionalism, super cool and informative video... keep them coming. Most of us don't have all the necessary equipment at this time, but your knowledge and experience will go far. We appreciate you
Love these long form videos. I put them on in the background to relax while doing stuff. Any chance you can do a few full house washes? I’m trying to get faster. Wanna see what tips I can pick uo
@@rusty.nesvig Thanks, My gun is brand new and something must be wrong with mine as I cant get nearly as much volume as yours. Even at 1000 PSI on my 4.5 gpm machine. Do you have 8gpm?
Great video Rusty! Very efficient the way you are doing this job. What issues have you had or have you heard people having with this sort of Soft Wash system and which one do you have? Thanks !
Thank you!! Much appreciated. I typically won’t do that until I’ve completely applied the roof. Once all your solution is dried up you’re good to hit it with a little water
I have a question like personal question about your nozzle Is there a way I could reach out to you so you can explain a little bit more about your nozzle and the whole set up
@@rusty.nesvig thx new sub, just found channel and like the way you work. Retired UPS guy looking to get back to work and trying to figure this stuff out :)
Like this style of video too! Hey Rusty for this type of roof tile would you recommend 3-4% like you say in the video even if it’s are really dirty? Got one coming up Monday and I’ve always used 6% but if I don’t have to go that strong I don’t want to. Also seeing how easy your doing it with a gas pump is 🤯
Thank you brotha 👊🏼 you can definitely do a dirty one with a 4% mix. Probably will need a second application in some spots but I like that more than spraying 6%.
@@rusty.nesvig do you feel like you can do multiple houses in a day using that p40 since its shooting 10+ gpm. Are you waiting a while for water before/after the job. Im curious because id like a system like that for my self too
As a roofer i can promise u its not how good u are walking on the tile roof Its who installed it and if it w😊as done correctly. So better safe then sorry.

Thank you brother 👊🏼. I’m happy to help. I appreciate yall as well!
Good stuff mate. Wish our roofs where that easy 🇦🇺
Yeah you’ve got a lot more steps than me but also a much bigger ticket than me lol

Thank you brotha ! I’ll keep em coming. Absolutely! Next time I’ve got a day of house washing lined up I’ll make sure to film it.
Keep up the good work!!!
Thank you sir
Great job, I've got the same orange gun and wondering what PSI you are using on it?
Roughly 200 psi. The machine runs around 300 max but I don’t run it full throttle.

Thank you 🫡. Main issue is leaks / cracks in the pump. SH just eats it away eventually.
@@rusty.nesvig thank you sir I appreciate you 👍🏼🫡
Hi Rusty, great video. How long do you wait before re-activating chem mix with some water? Thanks
Thank you!! Much appreciated. I typically won’t do that until I’ve completely applied the roof. Once all your solution is dried up you’re good to hit it with a little water
@@rusty.nesvig Thanks Rusty. You were probably wearing it but please remember to wear your respirator. Those chems are super strong and caustic.
I agree ! I’m always preaching on this channel to wear a mask 🙏
Nice work. Which gas powered system are you using? How many GPM etc?
Thank you! Comet P40 gas soft wash. 12gpm 300 psi.
I have a question like personal question about your nozzle Is there a way I could reach out to you so you can explain a little bit more about your nozzle and the whole set up
I have a full break down here. Where you can order it and everything. Best fun in the game.
Great video !! so 6 % is ok on old old roof with lots of moss
Thank you! Yes I rarely ever go to 6% but then again I don’t deal with moss build up.
Thank you very much!!
Yeap! fast and accurate. What mic do you use?
DJI wireless lav !
Amazing, what soft wash system are you using? thanks
Thank you ! This is the comet P40 gas soft wash

what kinda buffer tank are you using to be able to run the p40 and do all that cleaning?
325 gal water tank with a 200 gal chem tank

Fair enough! I’ve walked hundreds of these roofs with no issues though. But I respect the customers wishes.
How much. For that
