People must talk about how these conditions occurred and became such a threat to everyone and every thing in the area. Underbrush MUST be cleared out or not allowed to grow, spaces must be made "fire safe" since "fire proof" is nearly impossible. I don't care about some tiny, one of a kind cricket, or whatnot! You want to keep it safe, make sure it's habitat won't burn down every few years! Massive fires in California have become a yearly event. Southern California ALWAYS has these winds. After a year or two of good rains, I expected raging fires. I don't know why people were not being proactive about reducing fire hazards.
