which one did u prefer lewis? the mw65 or the rebel65 cuz i love how the rebel looks and the layout of it but the mw65 looks really nice and just better quality cuz the rebel60 looks abit cheap but the shift key on the right on both boards are shoter than id like

the sound across the different rows isn't the most consistent and the space bar sounds really deep compared to the high pitched holy pandas, but it's a good keybard and you'd expect something like this from a way higher priced keyboard, so nice find, and nice assembly man, you just make it so much better.

how does the feker two stage spring compare with the normal ones in terms of sound and tactility? have you tried akko sponge/jelly blue and compared with this feker two stage spring ones too? wondering how it differs

2 stage springs feels snappier on the return than regular short springs. sound shouldnt differ, unless the springs r ass and u can hear spring ping! tactility will be reduced or increased based on how light or heavy the springs are, respectively.
Edit: sound might differ on the return due to the snappier return, but shouldnt change the entire sound signature entirely

What switches would you guys recommend for a budget build like this for someone that likes cherry mx reds. What may be a better switch or similar but more cost effective? I only have experiece with mx reds, blues and browns from prebuilts. Any suggestions appreciated!

I think you might want to give akko switches a try. Very budget friendly and if i may, try ocean blue, lavender, matcha green, or the red or white ones i forgot the name. These switches are so good without any lube.
