What material do you use for holee mod? i tried bandaids, tape, eletrical tape.... and even TFLON tape. none of them seems to work on my k8 stock stabs, it stops being rattle but gets too mushy or the wire doesnt even fit in the housing
@@ForDreeam The tape could be hanging out too much off the edge, or folding in some places. I know exactly what you mean... maybe the width of the tape you were using was too wide? Hard to say. I used athletic tape and was thinking of trying out electrical tape next since there should be less friction.
I’m surprised the factory lubed stabs were that consistent and actually performed decently compared to other stabilizer brands. Inclusion of stock cherry screw ins is a definite win in my books. And we now also know that holee works with xht bdz, very nice ^^

Your vids popping up in recommended is what made me look in to the hobby. Got a transparent black 67ltie on the way with Gat black inks, durock v2s, 205g0, KAT Eternal and a custom Eternal theme cable. Already been using the keycaps and cable on my Anne Pro 2 but can't wait to build my own custom.
Some points to note: R2 has standoffs on the plate itself, which is injection moulded not cnc'd. R2 is slightly more stiff but sounds a little thockier as well.
Copped a transparent one two days ago on Mechanical Keyboards and added to the order some Durock's V2 stabs. Going to put some NK Creams lubed with krytox 205g0 and filmed with the NK Vaporwave keycaps. Can't be more impatient about it really.
As someone who's been irresponsibly collecting keebs for like five years now, I don't think you could have made a better choice. ABS plastic case and all, this thing absolutely dumps on the rest of my stable when it comes to sound and feel. It's just so good!
Great review as always! The professionalism of your videos is unbelievable and you can tell by just watching the intros that you put a lot of effort into them. I do think you could work on your masking as it's distracting to see such flawless shots and compositions while the masks clip into the objects. It may not really impact the video as a whole but I think that it's something you should look into for that extra flare. It may be really tedious but if done in small bursts, it will pay off in the long run. Good stuff and I hope you have a speedy recovery!
I almost got the kit for this in May for my first board, but instead opted for a bunch of separate parts, which was much more expensive that this board would've been... I'm jealous of how good you made it sound, I still need some practice xD. Great video as always!
I ordered this board few days ago, with durocks v2, so excited! :D This will be my first true custom, although I started modding some off-shelf boards that I have, and it's also a fun experience. Learned a lot (and messed up one of the boards that I had for long time and liked it :

Hey! Great video overall but I would suggest using your right hand to test the stabilizers on the right side. When you were doing the sound test your hand was blocking the view of the right side stabilizers. Small thing but it would make it slightly better. Great video, much love ❤️
My mum requires Bluetooth for her boards so the battery option is definitely welcome even if you have to trade out VIA; we were originally trying to do a hot swap 65% iso Bluetooth board, but iso took the hit in favour of the other things. If capsunlocked gave a battery option (or we'd waited a bit for the new Ikki) shed have joined me on the GB
great video as always, i definitely recommend the kbd67 lite over the nk65 mainly due to the quality of the board, my nk65 had cracks when it first arrived and i didnt like that so i returned it, when i saw the kbd67 lite had screw in stabs, im sold

Glasses did that. I personally don't think that'll happen unless everything gets shipped to him. Also shipping can be expensive. Some countries you will need a middle person for shipping. It seems like a good idea, but pricing really gets annoying.
Personally I would like a bluetooth feature on my boards. I always use a cable when I'm using it with my PC but having bluetooth is very versatile when you want to use the keyboard with other gadgets like an ipad, phone or smart TVs. Too bad most of the high end kits don't offer this.

They now sell silicone for the bottom of the case that is sold as a extra and not included in the kit. It cost $18 extra but I think it’s definitely worth the extra cost.
This actually makes the NK EE so useless. Screw in stabs + the blocker make it so much more worth it. They really really REALLY should keep it in stock. And not just group buys

bluetooth definitely super important to me, I get into the hobby cause I was looking for nice bluetooth keyboard for my ipad ended up with rk84 and modded it real nice with anegao keycaps (y)

Bluetooth and wired are important! I have a dual PC setup, so changing between wired and Bluetooth via a switch or key macro is a must.
