Where do you get that thick wood stock from? That must be like $100+ per board given today's prices? Or do you buy in bulk at a local saw mill or something?
We got it from a local lumber mill. The prices are pretty crazy lately, but niangon isn't too bad-it’s about 1/4 the price of walnut from our suppliers. If I remember correctly, it was around €1600 per cubic meter, or roughly $4 per board foot. These boards were about 3” x 10” x 7’, so we paid around $70 per board. It would probably be better to buy in bulk, but we don't have the space to store a lot, so we usually just buy what we need for each project. Appreciate the question, and thanks for watching!
Good ear! I grew up in Norway. Moved away half a lifetime ago, but I guess some accents like to stick around. My partner, who is from Spain, is the real star of this video though. Thanks for watching!
@@2LStudioCustomFurniture veldig bra video! inspirerende å se på :) kan jo ikke si noe annet at engelsken er mye bedre enn min, men var noe der som minte meg om norsk! Gleder meg til å følge med videre
