Have just started putting together my Civitas set and was looking for a fairly quick, and good-looking, paint scheme. This looks perfect! 👍
Thanks Geek! Will be doing a ruined one soon too.
@BattleBunniesTV Great stuff, I was looking for it! 😁
Thanks for making this. I just painted a tonne of buildings following this method, and they look great. Took a LOT of effort (so many windows!) but at least you saved me from the experiment and procrastinate stage.
That’s great news. Really happy it worked out for you!
Great video and end result.
Loving Legions Imperialis and have loads of these to build and paint
Good to hear! Get that terrain train running!
Really nice tutorial. They look good. I got the "ruins set". I'll look forward to your tutorial on painting them.
Thanks Iwan. Yup it will be mostly the same but probably with some powders, a bit of a rubble base and some black airbrushing / heavy dry brushing.
Really nice work. I think I’m going to try a spray/ink wash method, a bit like your roads, to really mass produce all the buildings I need for a large table.
Good on you! They will look great David! :)
Typhus Corrosion and a fine detail brush? You brave brave man.
Lol! Yeah I get you. It is slightly thinned and not my true hobby fine detail brush 😁
Wonderfull vid! Now show us how you paint the tiny Blood Angels ❤
Hiya Julvatn. Already have!! Yay!
@@BattleBunniesTV I saw the tank video, do you have one for the infantry as well?
Love the channel-name!
Thanks Fred! We were going to go with Bunnies with Bolters, but thought better of it. :)
Really came out nice. I positively hate painting scenery, I think I would have done the basecoat, the zenithal spray and an oil wash. Can't stand for the sake of the empire spending more time on a building. Your patience certainly pays off.
Lol. I absolutely love building and painting terrain.
Yeah, you can leave it at the Zenithal stage really if you want. The wash can be done quicker with a bigger brush if you are reactive to it and pull it off where it pools.
But yeah I love a decent enamel or oil wash too!
Great video, but I am intrigued as to what does the pledge multi-surface wax do to the wash? Why do you add this?
Hiya. It is pretty much a varnish :)
I'm sorry, pledge multi surface wax? 😂😂😂 Amazing, never would have occurred to me
Hiya. Used to be known as Klear (appears frequently in old Forge World Masterclass books). Great stuff!
Wait, Pledge what Wax?
Yup. Multi surface Wax. Have an internet search :)
