  • A small village in Gloucestershire dating back at least a thousand years, athough it wasn't called Ampney Crucis then, there's something uniquely restful about this gentle Cotswold village. The kind of place where you cross the road and find sheep grazing the land. About three miles east of Cirencester, it has a pleasant pub overlooking Ampney Brook.
This extra slow meandering, however, doesn't go that way. I went to the church that is about a million years old and then through a narrow path taking me to the main street through the village.

It was a nice place to meander on through. Thanks for the support as always. I was just looking at the video of Cromarty. The sea looks like glass at one point... But I shall comment on that there.

Thank you Jago for sharing this beautiful walk. As always, your choice of relaxing music lends itself perfectly to the video. And what a lovely way to bring the walk to an end, nicely done! I shall be revisiting this video many more times, I dare say. All the best to you.

Thank you so much for this. It means a lot. We always look for that final shot. It adds a lot to the impression left on the, in my case, six or seven people who watch all the way through. I'm really happy to find an ending that seems like a good stopping point.

It was a beautiful day for a walk. The sky was amazing. I really liked the opening images of the WWIi memorial. The gardens were brilliant. The town looks wonderful. I love your description that you can walk across the road and see a field of sheep. The pathways are always wonderful and the incredible architecture. Thank you for this wonderful tour. It looks like a very beautiful place.

Thank you so much. I am never 100% sure if a video has the same effect on people watching as it does for me. I confess that I have a particular love of certain types of view so it is good to read such a positive message. Thank you.

@@jagoturner I really appreciate all of your effort to make these videos. It is always nice to see these areas and learn a little about them. This town looks and sounds like a place I would enjoy to spend some time. Thanks again.

Thank you. It is always great to read a message from Indonesia. I always feel that landscapes develop a strange and unreal texture when they differ greatly from those of our own country. I only know Indonesia from videos and it always looks amazing... Something we only really experience in magical films. I wonder if England takes on that same aspect there.
