  • A few miles West of Banbury is the village of SIbford Gower. It's a pleasant and quiet spot. I don't know much about the place. We just saw it and thought, 'Hello', we thought, 'Hello. That looks like a pleasant spot for a wander'. And so it was. Hopefully, amid the blustery wind and the sinuous liveliness of the trees, you will feel the same way.

My Great Grandfather is buried in the Churchyard at Sibford Gower ! ( I take it there is only one church there ? ) I've never been there .I found out from one of these ancestry websites . I saw a photo of him with thick whiskers and a moustache . His name was Ernest Green . I think he died between 1880 and 1910 .

The healing frequency of 432 Hz is so relaxing and suits this film perfectly as the camera floats along. Thanks for sharing this one Jago😊

Thank you, as always. Such support means a lot to me. I have been experimenting a lot recently (and usually not uploading as a result). I admire, so much, the work of yourself and other people making short films in this genre. Like so much in life, it takes a lot of effort to make something that looks easy. I agree that the Unicorn Heads music drives a sense of relaxation. I am in awe of some of the musicians who make their work available to UA-cam creators and I hope that people recognise their skills. We must be careful and selective and I sometimes risk using music from elsewhere knowing my video could get a copyright claim so I am really grateful that there is so much work of great quality available to use. I have had good and bad reactions to the use of music on my videos. Overall, I would say it is those videos that use music that have garnered the best response in terms of watch time and views (although this is still a very very very small channel) and while popularity alone is not the barometer which drives my decisions (this isn't a money-making channel) it is a useful guide to what connects with people and what does not. There is a happiness in knowing that we are off shooting these videos simply because we want to share the world we are lucky to live so close to.

Thank you. It means a lot. It's always a balance and we try to do what seems to work and bring out what is there. I don't always get it right and so the support means a lot to me. Thanks again.

I always enjoy the narrow pathways. As you walk through these paths, you are waiting for the next exciting scene, as you round the corner and venture further. Sibford Gower looks like a very nice place to wander around and enjoy the scenery. The architecture is wonderful. The thatch rooves are quite beautiful on some of the buildings. It looks like a quiet place to enjoy. It looked like a great day for a walk. There were not too many people around. The music was nice and soothing. Thank you for sharing you wonderful tours.

I want those narrow pathways to go on forever though. I always feel a little sad when they end. Thank you for your support as always. It keeps us going to know that someone is watching. I don't know if this video was a little long or not. It's already a bit cut down from the original length. I might have cut it further but I like the idea of going on a long walk. And, yes, like you, I love a thatched roof. I know, they're terrible and attract mice and take a lot of upkeep but I'm very grateful that people do it.

@@jagoturner I always enjoy your walks and tours. It is wonderful to see new places and scenery. I feel that the length of your videos is fine. Some people many not watch the entire video, but for others they want even more. You seem to keep to the 25 to minute mark and that normally provides a good view of any area. It looked like a great day for a walk. I hope that your summer is going well. Have a great evening.

Loved the village, didn't like the music. Part of the experience is hearing the bird sounds, etc. Makes it much more complete.
