David, you did the clearest video of the Tunisian stitch that I have seen I watched 3 others and it was not clear enough on the return stitch or where to go in for the first run. Thank you for a clear tutorial I am going to mark it for reference.
What a beautiful 🤩 stitch , I love it! I have yet to learn Tunisian crochet 🧶 and I know I will be able to do do now with you and your awesome 👏 tutorial my sweet darling Craig “aka” Fiber Spider! I just got some Tunisian crochet hooks too, woohoo 🙌 can’t wait to try this beautiful stitch! Thank you my sweet friend for all the help! I truly appreciate all you do for us! 🙏🙏🥰🥰🥰💙💙💙💙💙😘😘
You are so blessed with your talents but we are more blessed because you share and inspired. I thought I will not be able to enjoy crochet but the way you showed us it is so inspiring 😊
I love this stitch! I have used the Tunisian simple stitch for many projects....just learned the full stitch...and now this one! Thanks so much for sharing this stitch with the increase technique! I will be using it in a project very soon!
I'm just diving into Tunisian Crochet. Jayda is doing a CAL and I'm learning from her. Thank you so much for this tutorial she hasn't shown this stitch yet and it's beautiful. You are such an amazing teacher and I think I've made almost all your tutorials. If not I'm sure I will at some point. Currently making another virus meets granny shawl.
For some random reason, I decided to have a go at Tunisian crochet yesterday, and made a small simple stitch square. You must have known somehow, and I can't wait to have a go at this gorgeous pattern! I started crocheting about 4 years ago, and found your channel the best one for me to learn from, so thank you for all the work you do for us! C
Fabulous work spider it looks so squishy and textured and I love that it doesn’t curl like the squares I have previously tried making myself 😊Amanda xx❤️
I just finished this shawl, it's awesome and very proud how it came out, I did mine in a teal colour, many thanks for the tutorial, love watching your crochet videos, I was wondering if it was possible to make more Tunisian Crochet items, like cardigans, waistcoats, more shawls and blankets, thank you, take care.
Love your videos and patterns !! Was wondering if you could show us how to make this pattern into a blanket!! Thanks for beautiful patterns and your thoroughness in showing and explaining your patterns. Thanks again
I have just started learning Tunisian crochet, and I love it. This stitch is beautiful. Thank you for the great tutorial. I've started a scarf and it's coming out great!
That was very beautiful but I'm sure I have to see it more than once, it seems easy but I just watched the next time I will try to work it. Thanks so much for sharing and I can't wait to try it.
Thank you so much for this video !!! I love Tunisian crochet but have only done the Simple stitch. This really has me excited to try something different. And thank you for emphasizing the need to use a much larger hook for Tunisian than normally used when doing regular crochet
Hi, when I do tusian crochet, I use a hook two sizes bigger than I’m going to use for the main body of the work, then change to the small hook from there on, also I the I go though the bump on the back of the stick as this make the bottom nice and neat like a knit stitch on the bottom edge the same as you have up each side also it the same as the bind off row at the Finish. Looks uniformed on all sides and doesn’t need a border around re project. Just my way of doing it… 😀🇦🇺 AUSTRALIA
Good afternoon! I want to start to do Tunisian but don't have any hooks. What size needle would you recommend to start with. Also I finished your virus shawl and have gotten so many compliments. Thank you so very much. You made it so easy to follow you. Thank you for all you do for the yarny community.
Hi I watch your videos I don’t crochet much but love to do Tunisian I don’t have a a nice Tunisian hook if you don’t mind to let me know where I can get them thank you so much for sharing your videos 😊
Have not tried Tunisian crochet but I'll watch maybe try later, do not have the long hook; I will have to buy an extra long hook for the shawl I just have a regular Tunisian hook; I have seen a checkerboard tunisian shawl that looks beautiful
Hi Craig! It's me Lenai here! I'm finally getting over covid, and am ready to learn something new! My Tunisian hooks have been just aching for a project! I have a question, can you do a regular YO on the purl? I just know right now my hand will do it's own thing and I'll be making mistakes for sure! Great tutorial as always
I'm sorry to hear you haven't been well, glad you are on the mend though. Not sure about the purl alteration, I'm rather a novice at tunisian crochet. Give it a try though and have fun experimenting.
. I just started another project on another tutorial! What to do??? Craig, I don't want to be the gnat in the tapioca, but I am having an horrific _time_ with yarn barf with just about every skein of LB PoL! I had to return nearly an entire skein last week. Please give them a gentle nudge on my behalf. I started buying in bulk b/c I truly want to learn to make custom crocheted garments. I'm not used to spending this kind of scrilla, Craig! I'm truly frustrated by this. Thanks for letting me kvetch.
I've GOT Honeybee and Denim! Honeybee was the only one which gave me an entire skein out of about eight I used for a blanket. The stitch I used was doubled single stitch, so I needed a LOT o' yarn! I just gave up fighting with the Denim yarn barf a few seconds ago--when you said you were _using_ it, and cut my losses.

David, you did the clearest video of the Tunisian stitch that I have seen I watched 3 others and it was not clear enough on the return stitch or where to go in for the first run. Thank you for a clear tutorial I am going to mark it for reference.

Can this be done in a blanket? Not really a shawl wearer
What size hook? Very pretty. Thank you so very very much. Do you start with a even number?
I would love to see this stitch in c2c
What is the difference between the smock stitch and the honeycomb stitch to me they look the same.😊 Thank you
I would like to do a blanket with this stitch. How long of an extension would you recommend?

Where do you find the hooks with a cable?
Do you have to pay shipping to get the prize ?????
Is there a crochet stitch that can look like this?
