July 10th was his 80th birthday. I still miss him. He will never be forgotten. Peace!!
Some of my best memories were at dio concerts.. Something magical in the air..
@@robertghanem1424 First concert ever was Last in Line tour in El Paso Texas, New Years Eve, 1984. I agree with you completely!!
Heaven and Hell is the best LP ever recorded. I was 13 when Neon Knights jumped out of my speakers and blew me away.
I believe Mob Rules is just as good.
Samesies. It actually sounds better now than it did then, and it was the best thing I'd ever heard then.
Black Sabbath needs to make a movie while all four Originals members are still Alive!
Yeah... but they have to hurry up!
Sharon wouldn't allow that to materialize. Unless the price was right!!
You are right they do! And yes better hurry!
DIO is a legend. 🤘🤘
thanks for posting this!
You bet! Hope you've subscribed ! Cheers
@@massapower I have!
I guess this will get him into hall of fame
Thanks for showing it. Some friends and I have cried together when Dio passed away. We went to a bar to have some beer and remember him and maybe transform the loss of his presence in this fisical world in another energy between us, we needed to do that, we really feel his "lost". We really appreciate his music, and we are in Brazil (Brasil), in a medium city. Dio is a giant for us...
I just saw the doc on Hulu, it was a very well done doc , I had the pleasure of meeting ronnie after a show in the mid 80s I must have been 26 or so , and we sat and talked for a couple of hours. It really says something about him to give a young fan like myself that kind of kindness and humor and he told me about how the business of music really worked , he was an amazing person and I will never forget him , my heart goes out to Wendy putting this together for her late husband must have been emotionally difficult well done Wendy ~ RIP Ronnie
Can’t wait for it to be released
September 28th & October 2nd Release worldwide. Get your tickets fast !😁🤘
Dios song rainbow in the dark is at the end of the new Thor movie! Sounds awesome in the imax format!
That movie should have had Dio (and Dio-Rainbow for that matter) all over it. Nothing against G'n'R, but Dio was a much better thematic fit for Thor.
It's a shame Ronnie's not in the rock and roll hall of fame. 😢 🤘
I thought the exact same thing. But then again Ronnie is a Hall of fame on his own.
This is going to be awesome, looking forward to seeing it !
I saw 👀 sabbath at the hall in NYC and I was shocked by his voice and two days later I went to LI and saw them again then the mob rules came out and I went to the garden and saw them again what a great voice Dio was the voice of heavy metal 🤘 he will be miss forever 🤘
Thank you for posting.I cant wait to watch the Dio Doc
Thank you to all involved in making this happen, Ronnie will always be the best in the business
I remember hearing news on the radio and crying a little .
Legends NEVER DIE!!
Wendy mentioned a soundtrack. Hopefully it will include the Prophets song "Bad Man in Town" that has never been released. I saw the movie today and it was awesome.
🌍Thank God Geezer supports animals. That helps make up for the evil done to animals by Ozzy Osbourne and a few other bands. Ronnie James Dio loved animals. Eddie Trunk seemed really professional here. Wendy Dio even LOOKS like Ronnie now. She seems a great person and professional. And Seb Bach's almost naive enthusiasm is kind of nice. Thanks for an enjoyable video.🌈
so sad but happy
Early Mastodon Geezer for sure!!!🤘
I was too young to see Ronnie with Rainbow, but lucky to see him with Sabbath on the Mob Rules tour 1982, from the 3rd row at Hammersmith, London. For reasons I never worked out, I never did get to see him in his own band Dio, though I was listening to his music.
Then in 2007 I got to see him with Heaven and Hell, 25 years later, at Wembley in London. Voice and stage presence still top level.
Our early rock and metal gods reach a point of immortality in the hearts and minds of us fans and their spirits remain with us as we rock out to their music today. All the fairly new bands of today's rock and metal are but the evaluation of the originals of metal.
Amor eterno al enorme Dio🤘🏿
I'm looking forward to seeing this documentary. Any idea when it will be available?
Heaven and Hell was the first Black Sabbath album that I heard, and at the time I never knew who Ozzy Osbourne was , or about him ever singing for Black Sabbath. I thought Black Sabbath sounded like Deep Purple. I bought the Rainbow albums, and Long Live Rock and Roll was my favorite album. I liked Rainbow even more the Heaven and Hell album. Mob Rules is my favorite Black Sabbath album
DIO🤘DIO🤘DIO🤘DIO🤘
in case some people dont know eddie was good friends with ronnie im not sure if he ever mentioned that on his show before lol
RJD's vocal ability gave credibility to the hard rock, heavy metal genre. He was as talented and had the range of any opera singer that snubbed the genre. He was the purist and never made it like a caricature because he demanded respect. He made every band that he was a part of so much better. I liked Black Sabbath with Ozzy but I loved them with Dio.
Why such an EXTREMELY limited run, in Rhode Island it's only in ONE cinema with TWO showings in ONE week..?
good metal ended in the90s 1990
80 not 90s
Sebastian Bach has a great solo career? And Wendy screwed over Viv and Jimmy. What is Geezer doing up there?
Sabbath are the best band of heavy metal and Geezer was the bassist for many years I think if anyone likes heavy metal 🤘
@@ivandunayevich545 Geezer is my all time favorite bassist. I
Geezer and Ronnie made 4 albums together so it make sense for Geezer to be there.
24:01 - 25:37 gotta love how they spend a minute and half shitting on death metal then go straight in to talking about the lack of mainstream appeal for metal bands, not helping the cause much!
where can i stream the movie
